1E aquele dia cantou Débora, com Baraque, filho de Abinoão, dizendo:
2Porque vingou as injúrias de Israel, Porque o povo se ofereceu de sua vontade, Louvai ao SENHOR.
3Ouvi, reis; estai atentos, ó príncipes: Eu cantarei ao SENHOR, Cantarei salmos ao SENHOR Deus de Israel.
4Quando saíste de Seir, ó SENHOR, Quando te apartaste do campo de Edom, A terra tremeu, e os céus destilaram, E as nuvens gotejaram águas.
5Os montes se derreteram diante do SENHOR, Até o Sinai, diante do SENHOR Deus de Israel.
6Em os dias de Sangar filho de Anate, Em os dias de Jael, cessaram os caminhos, E os que andavam pelas sendas apartavam-se por veredas torcidas.
7As aldeias haviam cessado em Israel, haviam decaído; Até que eu Débora me levantei, Me levantei mãe em Israel.
8Em escolhendo novos deuses, A guerra estava às portas: Se via escudo ou lança Entre quarenta mil em Israel?
9Meu coração está pelos líderes de Israel, Os que com boa vontade se ofereceram entre o povo: Louvai ao SENHOR.
10Vós os que cavalgais em asnas brancas, Os que presidis em juízo, E vós os que viajais, falai.
11Longe do ruído dos arqueiros, nos bebedouros, Ali repetirão as justiças do SENHOR, As justiças de suas vilas em Israel; Então o povo do SENHOR desceu às portas.
12Desperta, desperta, Débora; Desperta, desperta, profere um cântico. Levanta-te, Baraque, e leva teus cativos, filho de Abinoão.
13Então fez que o que restou do povo, senhoreie aos poderosos: o SENHOR me fez senhorear sobre os fortes.
14De Efraim saiu sua raiz contra Amaleque, Depois ti, Benjamim, contra teus povos; De Maquir desceram príncipes, E de Zebulom os que costumavam manejar vara de oficial.
15Príncipes também de Issacar foram com Débora; E como Issacar, também Baraque Se pôs a pé no vale. Das divisões de Rúben houve grandes impressões do coração.
16Por que te restaste entre os currais, Para ouvir os balidos dos rebanhos? Das divisões de Rúben Grandes foram os questionamentos do coração.
17Gileade se restou da outra parte do Jordão: E Dã por que se esteve junto aos navios? Manteve-se Aser à beira do mar, E ficou em seus portos.
18O povo de Zebulom expôs sua vida à morte, E Naftali nas alturas do campo.
19Vieram reis e lutaram: Então lutaram os reis de Canaã Em Taanaque, junto às águas de Megido, Mas não levaram despojo algum de dinheiro.
20Dos céus lutaram: As estrelas desde suas órbitas lutaram contra Sísera.
21Varreu-os o ribeiro de Quisom, O antigo ribeiro, o ribeiro de Quisom. Pisaste, ó alma minha, com força.
22Espancaram-se então os cascos dos cavalos pelas arremetidas, pelos galopes de seus fortes cavalos.
23Amaldiçoai a Meroz, disse o anjo do SENHOR: Amaldiçoai severamente a seus moradores, Porque não vieram em socorro ao SENHOR, Em socorro ao SENHOR contra os fortes.
24Bendita seja entre as mulheres Jael, Mulher de Héber queneu; Sobre as mulheres bendita seja na tenda.
25Ele pediu água, e deu-lhe ela leite; Em taça de nobres lhe apresentou manteiga.
26Sua mão estendeu à estaca, E sua direita a marreta de trabalhadores; E golpeou a Sísera, feriu sua cabeça, esmagou e atravessou suas têmporas.
27Caiu encurvado entre seus pés, ficou estendido: Entre seus pés caiu encurvado; Onde se encurvou, ali caiu morto.
28A mãe de Sísera olha à janela, E por entre as grades a vozes disse: Por que se detém seu carro, que não vem? Por que as rodas de seus carros se tardam?
29As mais avisadas de suas damas lhe respondiam; E ainda ela se respondia a si mesma.
30Não acharam despojos, e os estão repartindo? A cada um uma moça, ou duas: Os despojos de cores para Sísera, Os despojos bordados de cores: A roupa de cor bordada de ambos os lados, para os pescoços dos que tomaram os despojos.
31Assim pereçam todos os teus inimigos, ó SENHOR: Mas os que lhe amam, sejam como o sol quando nasce em sua força. E a terra repousou quarenta anos.

1Y AQUEL día cantó Débora, con Barac, hijo de Abinoam, diciendo:
2Porque ha vengado las injurias de Israel, porque el pueblo se ha ofrecido de su voluntad, load á Jehová.
3Oid, reyes; estad, oh príncipes, atentos: yo cantaré á Jehová, cantaré salmos á Jehová Dios de Israel.
4Cuando saliste de Seir, oh Jehová, cuando te apartaste del campo de Edom, la tierra tembló, y los cielos destilaron, y las nubes gotearon aguas.
5Los montes se derritieron delante de Jehová, aqueste Sinaí, delante de Jehová Dios de Israel.
6En los días de Samgar hijo de Anath, en los días de Jael, cesaron los caminos, y los que andaban por las sendas apartábanse por torcidos senderos.
7Las aldeas habían cesado en Israel, habían decaído; hasta que yo Débora me levanté, me levanté madre en Israel.
8En escogiendo nuevos dioses, la guerra estaba á las puertas: ¿se veía escudo ó lanza entre cuarenta mil en Israel?
9Mi corazón está por los príncipes de Israel, los que con buena voluntad se ofrecieron entre el pueblo: load á Jehová.
10Vosotros los que cabalgáis en asnas blancas, los que presidís en juicio, y vosotros los que viajáis, hablad.
11Lejos del ruido de los archeros, en los abrevaderos, allí repetirán las justicias de Jehová, las justicias de sus villas en Israel; entonces bajará el pueblo de Jehová á las puertas.
12Despierta, despierta, Débora; despierta, despierta, profiere un cántico. Levántate, Barac, y lleva tus cautivos, hijo de Abinoam.
13Entonces ha hecho que el que quedó del pueblo, señoree á los magníficos: Jehová me hizo enseñorear sobre los fuertes.
14De Ephraim salió su raíz contra Amalec tras ti, Benjamín, contra tus pueblos; de Machîr descendieron príncipes, y de Zabulón los que solían manejar punzón de escribiente.
15Príncipes también de Issachâr fueron con Débora; y como Issachâr, también Barac se puso á pie en el valle. De las divisiones de Rubén hubo grandes impresiones del corazón.
16¿Por qué te quedaste entre las majadas, para oir los balidos de los rebaños? De las divisiones de Rubén grandes fueron las disquisiciones del corazón.
17Galaad se quedó de la otra parte del Jordán: y Dan ¿por qué se estuvo junto á los navíos? Mantúvose Aser á la ribera de la mar, y quedóse en sus puertos.
18El pueblo de Zabulón expuso su vida á la muerte, y Nephtalí en las alturas del campo.
19Vinieron reyes y pelearon: entonces pelearon los reyes de Canaán en Taanac, junto á las aguas de Megiddo, mas no llevaron ganancia alguna de dinero.
20De los cielos pelearon: las estrellas desde sus órbitas pelearon contra Sísara.
21Barriólos el torrente de Cisón, el antiguo torrente, el torrente de Cisón. Hollaste, oh alma mía, con fortaleza.
22Despalmáronse entonces las uñas de los caballos por las arremetidas, por los brincos de sus valientes.
23Maldecid á Meroz, dijo el ángel de Jehová: maldecid severamente á sus moradores, porque no vinieron en socorro á Jehová, en socorro á Jehová contra los fuertes.
24Bendita sea entre las mujeres Jael, mujer de Heber Cineo; sobre las mujeres bendita sea en la tienda.
25El pidió agua, y dióle ella leche; en tazón de nobles le presentó manteca.
26Su mano tendió á la estaca, y su diestra al mazo de trabajadores; y majó á Sísara, hirió su cabeza, llagó y atravesó sus sienes.
27Cayó encorvado entre sus pies, quedó tendido: entre sus pies cayó encorvado; donde se encorvó, allí cayó muerto.
28La madre de Sísara se asoma á la ventana, y por entre las celosías á voces dice: ¿Por qué se detiene su carro, que no viene? ¿por qué las ruedas de sus carros se tardan?
29Las más avisadas de sus damas le respondían; y aun ella se respondía á sí misma.
30¿No han hallado despojos, y los están repartiendo? á cada uno una moza, ó dos: los despojos de colores para Sísara, los despojos bordados de colores: la ropa de color bordada de ambos lados, para los cuellos de los que han tomado los despojos.
31Así perezcan todos tus enemigos, oh Jehová: mas los que le aman, sean como el sol cuando nace en su fuerza. Y la tierra reposó cuarenta años.
King James Version
1Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying,
2Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.
3Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.
4LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water.
5The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
6In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied, and the travellers walked through byways.
7The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel.
8They chose new gods; then was war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
9My heart is toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless ye the LORD.
10Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
11They that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.
12Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.
13Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.
14Out of Ephraim was there a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer.
15And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions of Reuben there were great thoughts of heart.
16Why abodest thou among the sheepfolds, to hear the bleatings of the flocks? For the divisions of Reuben there were great searchings of heart.
17Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches.
18Zebulun and Naphtali were a people that jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field.
19The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.
20They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.
21The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, thou hast trodden down strength.
22Then were the horsehoofs broken by the means of the pransings, the pransings of their mighty ones.
23Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.
24Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
25He asked water, and she gave him milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly dish.
26She put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen’s hammer; and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his head, when she had pierced and stricken through his temples.
27At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay down: at her feet he bowed, he fell: where he bowed, there he fell down dead.
28The mother of Sisera looked out at a window, and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?
29Her wise ladies answered her, yea, she returned answer to herself,
30Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?
31So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.

1Then Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam sang on that day, saying,
2“Because the leaders took the lead in Israel, because the people offered themselves willingly, be blessed, LORD!
3“Hear, you kings! Give ear, you princes! I, even I, will sing to the LORD. I will sing praise to the LORD, the God of Israel.
4“LORD, when you went out of Seir, when you marched out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, the sky also dropped. Yes, the clouds dropped water.
5The mountains quaked at the LORD’s presence, even Sinai at the presence of the LORD, the God of Israel.
6“In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied. The travelers walked through byways.
7The rulers ceased in Israel. They ceased until I, Deborah, arose; Until I arose a mother in Israel.
8They chose new gods. Then war was in the gates. Was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
9My heart is toward the governors of Israel, who offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless the LORD!
10“Speak, you who ride on white donkeys, you who sit on rich carpets, and you who walk by the way.
11Far from the noise of archers, in the places of drawing water, there they will rehearse the LORD’s righteous acts, the righteous acts of his rule in Israel. “Then the LORD’s people went down to the gates.
12‘Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake, utter a song! Arise, Barak, and lead away your captives, you son of Abinoam.’
13“Then a remnant of the nobles and the people came down. The LORD came down for me against the mighty.
14Those whose root is in Amalek came out of Ephraim, after you, Benjamin, among your peoples. Governors come down out of Machir. Those who handle the marshal’s staff came out of Zebulun.
15The princes of Issachar were with Deborah. As was Issachar, so was Barak. They rushed into the valley at his feet. By the watercourses of Reuben, there were great resolves of heart.
16Why did you sit among the sheepfolds? To hear the whistling for the flocks? At the watercourses of Reuben, there were great searchings of heart.
17Gilead lived beyond the Jordan. Why did Dan remain in ships? Asher sat still at the haven of the sea, and lived by his creeks.
18Zebulun was a people that jeopardized their lives to the death; Naphtali also, on the high places of the field.
19“The kings came and fought, then the kings of Canaan fought at Taanach by the waters of Megiddo. They took no plunder of silver.
20From the sky the stars fought. From their courses, they fought against Sisera.
21The river Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. My soul, march on with strength.
22Then the horse hoofs stamped because of the prancing, the prancing of their strong ones.
23‘Curse Meroz,’ said the LORD’s angel. ‘Curse bitterly its inhabitants, because they didn’t come to help the LORD, to help the LORD against the mighty.’
24“Jael shall be blessed above women, the wife of Heber the Kenite; blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
25He asked for water. She gave him milk. She brought him butter in a lordly dish.
26She put her hand to the tent peg, and her right hand to the workmen’s hammer. With the hammer she struck Sisera. She struck through his head. Yes, she pierced and struck through his temples.
27At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay. At her feet he bowed, he fell. Where he bowed, there he fell down dead.
28“Through the window she looked out, and cried: Sisera’s mother looked through the lattice. ‘Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why do the wheels of his chariots wait?’
29Her wise ladies answered her, Yes, she returned answer to herself,
30‘Have they not found, have they not divided the plunder? A lady, two ladies to every man; to Sisera a plunder of dyed garments, a plunder of dyed garments embroidered, of dyed garments embroidered on both sides, on the necks of the plunder?’
31“So let all your enemies perish, LORD, but let those who love him be as the sun when it rises in its strength.” Then the land had rest forty years.
