Depois da morte de Josué, os filhos de Israel consultaram o SENHOR, dizendo: “Quem de nós subirá primeiro contra os cananeus, para lutar contra eles?”

Y ACONTECIÓ después de la muerte de Josué, que los hijos de Israel consultaron á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Quién subirá por nosotros el primero á pelear contra los Cananeos?

Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?

After the death of Joshua, the children of Israel asked of the LORD, saying, “Who should go up for us first against the Canaanites, to fight against them?”

O SENHOR disse: “Judá subirá. Eis que, entreguei a terra em suas mãos.”

Y Jehová respondió: Judá subirá; he aquí que yo he entregado la tierra en sus manos.

And the LORD said, Judah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand.

Judá disse a Simeão, seu irmão: “Suba comigo à minha herança, para que possamos lutar contra os cananeus; e eu também irei com você à sua herança.” Então Simeão foi com ele.

And Judah said unto Simeon his brother, Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I likewise will go with thee into thy lot. So Simeon went with him.

Judá subiu, e o SENHOR entregou os cananeus e os ferezeus em suas mãos. Eles feriram dez mil homens em Bezeque.

Y subió Judá, y Jehová entregó en sus manos al Cananeo y al Pherezeo; y de ellos hirieron en Bezec diez mil hombres.

And Judah went up; and the LORD delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men.

Encontraram Adoni-Bezeque em Bezeque, e lutaram contra ele. Eles feriram os cananeus e os ferezeus.

Adoni-Bezeque disse: “Setenta reis, com os polegares das mãos e dos pés cortados, apanhavam migalhas debaixo da minha mesa. Assim como eu fiz, Deus me retribuiu.” Eles o levaram para Jerusalém, e ele morreu ali.

Entonces dijo Adoni-bezec: Setenta reyes, cortados los pulgares de sus manos y de sus pies, cogían las migajas debajo de mi mesa: como yo hice, así me ha pagado Dios. Y metiéronle en Jerusalem, donde murió.

And Adoni-bezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.

Os filhos de Judá lutaram contra Jerusalém, tomaram-na, passaram-na ao fio da espada e incendiaram a cidade.

Y habían combatido los hijos de Judá á Jerusalem, y la habían tomado, y metido á cuchillo, y puesto á fuego la ciudad.

Now the children of Judah had fought against Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on fire.

Depois disso, os filhos de Judá desceram para lutar contra os cananeus que viviam na região montanhosa, no Sul e nas planícies.

Después los hijos de Judá descendieron para pelear contra el Cananeo que habitaba en las montañas, y al mediodía, y en los llanos.

And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites, that dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in the valley.

Judá marchou contra os cananeus que viviam em Hebrom. (O nome de Hebrom antes disso era Quiriate-Arba.) Eles feriram Sesai, Aimã e Talmai.

Y partió Judá contra el Cananeo que habitaba en Hebrón, la cual se llamaba antes Chîriath-arba; é hirieron á Sesai, y á Ahiman, y á Talmai.

And Judah went against the Canaanites that dwelt in Hebron: (now the name of Hebron before was Kirjath-arba:) and they slew Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai.

De lá, marcharam contra os habitantes de Debir. (O nome de Debir antes disso era Quiriate-Sefer.)

Y de allí fué á los que habitaban en Debir, que antes se llamaba Chîriath-sepher.

And from thence he went against the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjath-sepher:

Calebe disse: “Darei minha filha Acsa por mulher ao homem que atacar Quiriate-Sefer e a tomar.”

Y dijo Caleb: El que hiriere á Chîriath-sepher, y la tomare, yo le daré á Axa mi hija por mujer.

And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjath-sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.

Otniel, filho de Quenaz, irmão mais novo de Calebe, tomou-a; então ele lhe deu sua filha Acsa por mulher.

Quando ela chegou, convenceu-o a pedir um campo ao pai dela. Ela apeou do seu jumento, e Calebe lhe perguntou: “O que você deseja?”

And it came to pass, when she came to him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted from off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wilt thou?

When she came, she got him to ask her father for a field. She got off her donkey; and Caleb said to her, “What would you like?”

Ela lhe respondeu: “Dê-me uma bênção; já que você me deu terras no Sul, dê-me também fontes de água.” Então Calebe lhe deu as fontes superiores e as fontes inferiores.

And she said unto him, Give me a blessing: for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the nether springs.

She said to him, “Give me a blessing; because you have set me in the land of the South, give me also springs of water.” Then Caleb gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

Os filhos do queneu, sogro de Moisés, subiram da cidade das palmeiras com os filhos de Judá para o deserto de Judá, que fica ao sul de Arade; e eles foram e viveram com o povo.

Y los hijos de Cineo, suegro de Moisés, subieron de la ciudad de las palmas con los hijos de Judá al desierto de Judá, que está al mediodía de Arad: y fueron y habitaron con el pueblo.

And the children of the Kenite, Moses’ father in law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people.

Judá foi com Simeão, seu irmão, e feriram os cananeus que habitavam em Zefate, e a destruíram totalmente. O nome da cidade foi chamado Horma.

O SENHOR estava com Judá, e eles expulsaram os habitantes da região montanhosa; mas não conseguiram expulsar os habitantes do vale, porque estes tinham carros de ferro.

Y fué Jehová con Judá, y echó á los de las montañas; mas no pudo echar á los que habitaban en los llanos, los cuales tenían carros herrados.

And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.

Deram Hebrom a Calebe, como Moisés havia dito, e ele expulsou de lá os três filhos de Enaque.

And the children of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem unto this day.

A casa de José também subiu contra Betel, e o SENHOR estava com eles.

También los de la casa de José subieron á Beth-el; y fué Jehová con ellos.

Os vigias viram um homem saindo da cidade, e lhe disseram: “Por favor, mostre-nos a entrada da cidade, e nós trataremos você com bondade.”

Y los que espiaban vieron un hombre que salía de la ciudad, y dijéronle: Muéstranos ahora la entrada de la ciudad, y haremos contigo misericordia.

And the spies saw a man come forth out of the city, and they said unto him, Shew us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and we will shew thee mercy.

And it came to pass, when Israel was strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute, and did not utterly drive them out.

mas os aseritas viveram entre os cananeus, os habitantes da terra, pois não os expulsaram.

Os amorreus forçaram os filhos de Dã a recuar para a região montanhosa, pois não lhes permitiam descer ao vale;

And the Amorites forced the children of Dan into the mountain: for they would not suffer them to come down to the valley:

os amorreus persistiram em habitar no monte Heres, em Aijalom e em Saalabim. Contudo, a mão da casa de José prevaleceu, de modo que eles foram sujeitos a trabalhos forçados.

Y quiso el Amorrheo habitar en el monte de Heres, en Ajalón y en Saalbín; mas como la mano de la casa de José tomó fuerzas, hiciéronlos tributarios.

But the Amorites would dwell in mount Heres in Aijalon, and in Shaalbim: yet the hand of the house of Joseph prevailed, so that they became tributaries.

A fronteira dos amorreus ia desde a subida de Acrabim, desde a rocha, e para cima.

And the coast of the Amorites was from the going up to Akrabbim, from the rock, and upward.

The border of the Amorites was from the ascent of Akrabbim, from the rock, and upward.
