16A mulher de Sansão começou a chorar na frente dele, dizendo: "Tu me odeias! Tu não me amas! Falaste um enigma a alguns do meu povo, mas não me revelaste a resposta". Sansão disse-lhe: “Olha aqui, se não revelei nem ao meu pai ou à minha mãe, por que revelaria a ti?".

16Y lloró la mujer de Samsón delante de él, y dijo: Solamente me aborreces y no me amas, pues que no me declaras el enigma que propusiste á los hijos de mi pueblo. Y él respondió: He aquí que ni á mi padre ni á mi madre lo he declarado; y ¿habíalo de declarar á ti?

16And Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?

16Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, “You just hate me, and don’t love me. You’ve told a riddle to the children of my people, and haven’t told it to me.” He said to her, “Behold, I haven’t told my father or my mother, so why should I tell you?”
