Y DÍJOME Jehová: Tómate un gran volumen, y escribe en él en estilo de hombre tocante á Maher-salal-hash-baz.
Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Maher-shalal-hash-baz.
The LORD said to me, “Take a large tablet, and write on it with a man’s pen, ‘For Maher Shalal Hash Baz’;
Und nimm mir zuverlässige Zeugen, den Priester Uria und Sacharja, den Sohn Jeberechjas.
Y junté conmigo por testigos fieles á Urías sacerdote, y á Zacarías hijo de Jeberechîas.
And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.
and I will take for myself faithful witnesses to testify: Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.”
Da nahte ich mich der Prophetin und sie wurde schwanger und gebar einen Sohn. Da sprach Jahwe zu mir: Nenne ihn: Eilend kommt Beute, schnell kommt Raub!
Y juntéme con la profetisa, la cual concibió, y parió un hijo. Y díjome Jehová: Ponle por nombre Maher-salal-hash-baz.
And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Maher-shalal-hash-baz.

Denn ehe der Knabe rufen lernt “mein Vater”! und “meine Mutter”! wird man den Reichtum von Damaskus und die Beute von Samaria vor dem Könige von Assyrien dahintragen.
Porque antes que el niño sepa decir, Padre mío, y Madre mía, será quitada la fuerza de Damasco y los despojos de Samaria, en la presencia del rey de Asiria.
For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.
For before the child knows how to say, ‘My father’ and ‘My mother,’ the riches of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried away by the king of Assyria.”
Und Jahwe redete weiterhin also zu mir:
Otra vez tornó Jehová á hablarme, diciendo:
The LORD spake also unto me again, saying,

Weil dieses Volk die sanft strömenden Wasser des Siloah verachtet, und man sich freut mit Rezin und dem Sohne Remaljas,
Por cuanto desechó este pueblo las aguas de Siloé, que corren mansamente, y holgóse con Rezín y con el hijo de Remalías;
Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
“Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
darum wird der Herr die starken und großen Wasser des Euphrat über euch heraufkommen lassen, den König von Assyrien und seine ganze Macht, und sie werden über alle seine Rinnsale emporsteigen und über alle seine Ufer treten
He aquí por tanto que el Señor hace subir sobre ellos aguas de ríos, impetuosas y muchas, á saber, al rey de Asiria con todo su poder; el cual subirá sobre todos sus ríos, y pasará sobre todas sus riberas:
Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:
now therefore, behold, the Lord brings upon them the mighty flood waters of the River: the king of Assyria and all his glory. It will come up over all its channels, and go over all its banks.
und Juda durchbrausen, überfluten und überschwemmen, daß sie bis an den Hals reichen, und werden mit ihren ausgespannten Flügeln dein Land, so breit es ist, ausfüllen, o Immanuel!
Y pasando hasta Judá, inundará, y sobrepujará, y llegará hasta la garganta; y extendiendo sus alas, llenará la anchura de tu tierra, oh Emmanuel.
And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.
It will sweep onward into Judah. It will overflow and pass through. It will reach even to the neck. The stretching out of its wings will fill the width of your land, O Immanuel.
Erkennt es, ihr Völker, horcht auf, alle Fernen der Erde! Rüstet euch nur, ihr sollt doch verzagen! Rüstet euch nur, ihr sollt doch verzagen!
Juntaos, pueblos, y seréis quebrantados; oid todos los que sois de lejanas tierras: poneos á punto, y seréis quebrantados; apercibíos, y seréis quebrantados.
Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.
Make an uproar, you peoples, and be broken in pieces! Listen, all you from far countries: dress for battle, and be shattered! Dress for battle, and be shattered!
Schmiedet einen Plan: er wird zu nichte werden! Faßt einen Beschluß: er soll nicht zu stande kommen - denn mit uns ist Gott!
Tomad consejo, y será deshecho; proferid palabra, y no será firme: porque Dios con nosotros.
Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

Denn so hat Jahwe zu mir gesprochen, indem seine Hand mich überwältigte, und er mich immer wieder warnte, auf dem Wege dieses Volks zu wandeln:
Porque Jehová me dijo de esta manera con mano fuerte, y enseñóme que no caminase por el camino de este pueblo, diciendo:
For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,

Ihr sollt nicht alles heilig nennen, was dieses Volk heilig nennt, und vor dem, was es fürchtet, euch nicht fürchten noch erschrecken.
No digáis, Conjuración, á todas las cosas á que este pueblo dice, Conjuración; ni temáis lo que temen, ni tengáis miedo.
Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
“Don’t call a conspiracy all that this people call a conspiracy. Don’t fear their threats or be terrorized.
Jahwe der Heerscharen sollt ihr heilig halten, und er soll es sein, der euch Furcht und Schrecken einflößt.
A Jehová de los ejércitos, á él santificad: sea él vuestro temor, y él sea vuestro miedo.
Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
The LORD of Armies is who you must respect as holy. He is the one you must fear. He is the one you must dread.
Und er wird für die beiden Häuser Israels zu einem Heiligtume werden, zu einem Stein, an dem man anstößt, und zu einem Felsblock, über den man strauchelt, zu einer Falle und zu einer Schlinge für die Bewohner Jerusalems,
Entonces él será por santuario; mas á las dos casas de Israel por piedra para tropezar, y por tropezadero para caer, y por lazo y por red al morador de Jerusalem.
And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
He will be a sanctuary, but for both houses of Israel, he will be a stumbling stone and a rock that makes them fall. For the people of Jerusalem, he will be a trap and a snare.
daß viele unter ihnen straucheln und fallen und zerschmettert werden und sich verstricken und gefangen werden.
Y muchos tropezarán entre ellos, y caerán, y serán quebrantados: enredaránse, y serán presos.
And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
Many will stumble over it, fall, be broken, be snared, and be captured.”
Verwahre die Offenbarung, versiegle die Lehre in meinen Jüngern!
Ata el testimonio, sella la ley entre mis discípulos.
Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

Und ich will harren auf Jahwe, der sein Antlitz vor dem Hause Jakobs verbirgt, und will auf ihn hoffen.
Esperaré pues á Jehová, el cual escondió su rostro de la casa de Jacob, y á él aguardaré.
And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

Sind wir doch, ich und die Söhne, die mir Jahwe geschenkt hat, Sinnbilder und Zeichen in Israel von seiten Jahwes der Heerscharen, der auf dem Berge Zion wohnt!
He aquí, yo y los hijos que me dió Jehová, por señales y prodigios en Israel, de parte de Jehová de los ejércitos que mora en el monte de Sión.
Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

Und wenn man zu euch sprechen wird: Befragt doch die Totengeister und die Wahrsagegeister, die da flüstern und murmeln, - soll nicht ein Volk seinen Gott befragen? - um der Lebendigen willen die Toten?
Y si os dijeren: Preguntad á los pythones y á los adivinos, que susurran hablando, responded: ¿No consultará el pueblo á su Dios? ¿Apelará por los vivos á los muertos?
And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
When they tell you, “Consult with those who have familiar spirits and with the wizards, who chirp and who mutter,” shouldn’t a people consult with their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?
Zur Lehre und zur Offenbarung! Wenn nicht also sprechen die, denen keine Morgenröte aufgeht,
¡A la ley y al testimonio! Si no dijeren conforme á esto, es porque no les ha amanecido.
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Turn to the law and to the covenant! If they don’t speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.
so werden sie gedrückt und verhungert das Land durchziehen und ergrimmen, weil sie Hunger leiden, und ihren König und ihren Gott verfluchen; und sie wenden sich nach oben
Y pasarán por él fatigados y hambrientos, y acontecerá que teniendo hambre, se enojarán y maldecirán á su rey y á su Dios, levantando el rostro en alto.
And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
They will pass through it, very distressed and hungry. It will happen that when they are hungry, they will worry, and curse their king and their God. They will turn their faces upward,
und schauen zur Erde: aber da giebt es nur Angst und Finsternis, drangsalvolles Düster, und in dieses Dunkel sind sie verstoßen.
Y mirarán á la tierra, y he aquí tribulación y tiniebla, oscuridad y angustia; y serán sumidos en las tinieblas.
And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.
then look to the earth and see distress, darkness, and the gloom of anguish. They will be driven into thick darkness.
Denn nicht wird Düster bleiben, wo Drangsal war! In der früheren Zeit hat er Schmach über das Land Sebulon und das Land Naphthali gebracht, aber in der künftigen Zeit wird er die Straße nach dem Meere, das Gelände am Jordan, den Bezirk der Heiden, zu Ehren bringen.
