Isaías 66

1Ainsi a dit l’Eternel ; les cieux sont mon trône, et la terre est le marchepied de mes pieds : quelle maison me bâtiriez-vous, et quel serait le lieu de mon repos ?
2Car ma main a fait toutes ces choses, et c’est par moi que toutes ces choses ont eu leur être, dit l’Eternel. Mais à qui regarderai-je ? à celui qui est affligé, et qui a l’esprit brisé, et qui tremble à ma parole.
3Celui qui égorge un bœuf, c’est comme qui tuerait un homme ; celui qui sacrifie une brebis, c’est comme qui couperait le cou à un chien ; celui qui offre un gâteau, c’est comme qui offrirait le sang d’un pourceau ; celui qui fait un parfum d’encens, c’est comme qui bénirait une idole. Mais ils ont choisi leurs voies, et leur âme a pris plaisir en leurs abominations.
4Moi aussi je ferai attention à leurs tromperies, et je ferai venir sur eux les choses qu’ils craignent ; parce que j’ai crié, et qu’il n’y a eu personne qui répondît : que j’ai parlé, et qu’ils n’ont point écouté ; parce qu’ils ont fait ce qui me déplaît, et qu’ils ont choisi les choses auxquelles je ne prends point de plaisir.
5Ecoutez la parole de l’Eternel, vous qui tremblez à sa parole ; vos frères qui vous haïssent, et qui vous rejettent comme une chose abominable, à cause de mon Nom, ont dit ; que l’Eternel montre sa gloire. Il sera donc vu à votre joie, mais eux seront honteux.
6Un son éclatant vient de la ville, un son vient du Temple, le son de l’Eternel, rendant la pareille à ses ennemis.
7Elle a enfanté avant que de sentir le travail d’enfant ; elle a été délivrée d’un enfant mâle, avant que les tranchées lui vinssent.
8Qui entendit jamais une telle chose, et qui en a jamais vu de semblables ? Ferait-on qu’un pays fût enfanté en un jour ? ou une nation naîtrait-elle tout d’un coup, que Sion ait enfanté ses fils aussitôt qu’elle a été en travail d’enfant ?
9Moi qui fais enfanter les autres, ne ferais-je point enfanter Sion ? a dit l’Eternel ; Moi qui donne de la postérité aux autres, l’empêcherais-je d’enfanter ? a dit ton Dieu.
10Réjouissez-vous avec Jérusalem, et vous égayez en elle, vous tous qui l’aimez ; vous tous qui meniez deuil sur elle, réjouissez-vous avec elle l’une grande joie.
11Afin que vous soyez allaités, et que vous soyez rassasiés de la mamelle de ses consolations ; afin que vous suciez le lait, et que vous jouissiez à plaisir de toutes les sortes de sa gloire.
12Car ainsi a dit l’Eternel ; voici, je m’en vais faire couler vers elle la paix comme un fleuve, et la gloire des nations comme un torrent débordé ; et vous serez allaités, portés sur les côtés, et on vous fera jouer sur les genoux.
13Je vous caresserai pour vous apaiser, comme quand une mère caresse son enfant pour l’apaiser ; car vous serez consolés en Jérusalem.
14Et vous le verrez, et votre cœur se réjouira, et vos os germeront comme l’herbe ; et la main de l’Eternel sera connue envers ses serviteurs ; mais il sera ému à indignation contre ses ennemis.
15Car voici, l’Eternel viendra avec le feu, et ses chariots seront comme la tempête, afin qu’il tourne sa colère en fureur, et sa menace en flamme de feu.
16Car l’Eternel exercera jugement contre toute chair par le feu, et avec son épée, et le nombre de ceux qui seront mis à mort par l’Eternel, sera grand.
17Ceux qui se sanctifient et se purifient au milieu des jardins, l’un après l’autre, qui mangent de la chair de pourceau, et des choses abominables, comme des souris, seront ensemble consumés, a dit l’Eternel.
18Mais pour moi, voyant leurs oeuvres, et leurs pensées, le temps vient d’assembler toutes les nations et les langues ; ils viendront, et verront ma gloire.
19Car je mettrai une marque en eux, et j’enverrai ceux d’entre eux qui seront réchappés, vers les nations, en Tarsis, en Pul, en Lud, gens tirant de l’arc, en Tubal, et en Javan, et vers les Iles éloignées qui n’ont point entendu ma renommée, et qui n’ont point vu ma gloire, et ils annonceront ma gloire parmi les nations.
20Et ils amèneront tous vos frères, d’entre toutes les nations, sur des chevaux, sur des chariots, et dans des litières, sur des mulets, et sur des dromadaires, pour offrande à l’Eternel, à la montagne de ma sainteté, à Jérusalem, a dit l’Eternel, comme lorsque les enfants d’Israël apportent l’offrande dans un vaisseau net, à la maison de l’Eternel.
21Et même j’en prendrai d’entre eux pour Sacrificateurs, et pour Lévites, a dit l’Eternel.
22Car comme les nouveaux cieux et la nouvelle terre que je m’en vais faire, seront établis devant moi, dit l’Eternel ; ainsi sera établie votre postérité, et votre nom.
23Et il arrivera que depuis une nouvelle lune jusqu’à l’autre, et d’un Sabbat à l’autre, toute chair viendra se prosterner devant ma face, a dit l’Eternel.
24Et ils sortiront dehors, et verront les corps morts des hommes qui auront péché contre moi ; car leur ver ne mourra point, et leur feu ne sera point éteint ; et ils seront méprisés de tout le monde. ===============================================================================

1JEHOVÁ dijo así: El cielo es mi solio, y la tierra estrado de mis pies: ¿dónde está la casa que me habréis de edificar, y dónde este lugar de mi reposo?
2Mi mano hizo todas estas cosas, y así todas estas cosas fueron, dice Jehová: mas á aquél miraré que es pobre y humilde de espíritu, y que tiembla á mi palabra.
3El que sacrifica buey, como si matase un hombre; el que sacrifica oveja, como si degollase un perro; el que ofrece presente, como si ofreciese sangre de puerco; el que ofrece perfume, como si bendijese á un ídolo. Y pues escogieron sus caminos, y su alma amó sus abominaciones,
4También yo escogeré sus escarnios, y traeré sobre ellos lo que temieron; porque llamé, y nadie respondió; hablé, y no oyeron; antes hicieron lo malo delante de mis ojos, y escogieron lo que á mí desagrada.
5Oid palabra de Jehová, vosotros los que tembláis á su palabra: Vuestros hermanos los que os aborrecen, y os niegan por causa de mi nombre, dijeron: Glorifíquese Jehová. Mas él se mostrará con alegría vuestra, y ellos serán confundidos.
6Voz de alboroto de la ciudad, voz del templo, voz de Jehová que da el pago á sus enemigos.
7Antes que estuviese de parto, parió; antes que le viniesen dolores parió hijo.
8¿Quién oyó cosa semejante? ¿quién vió cosa tal? ¿parirá la tierra en un día? ¿nacerá una nación de una vez? Pues en cuanto Sión estuvo de parto, parió sus hijos.
9¿Yo que hago parir, no pariré? dijo Jehová. ¿Yo que hago engendrar, seré detenido? dice el Dios tuyo.
10Alegraos con Jerusalem, y gozaos con ella, todos los que la amáis: llenaos con ella de gozo, todos los que os enlutáis por ella:
11Para que maméis y os saciéis de los pechos de sus consolaciones; para que ordeñéis, y os deleitéis con el resplandor de su gloria.
12Porque así dice Jehová: He aquí que yo extiendo sobre ella paz como un río, y la gloria de las gentes como un arroyo que sale de madre; y mamaréis, y sobre el lado seréis traídos, y sobre las rodillas seréis regalados.
13Como aquel á quien consuela su madre, así os consolaré yo á vosotros, y en Jerusalem tomaréis consuelo.
14Y veréis, y alegraráse vuestro corazón, y vuestros huesos reverdecerán como la hierba: y la mano de Jehová para con sus siervos será conocida, y se airará contra sus enemigos.
15Porque he aquí que Jehová vendrá con fuego, y sus carros como torbellino, para tornar su ira en furor, y su reprensión en llama de fuego.
16Porque Jehová juzgará con fuego y con su espada á toda carne: y los muertos de Jehová serán multiplicados.
17Los que se santifican y los que se purifican en los huertos, unos tras otros, los que comen carne de puerco, y abominación, y ratón; juntamente serán talados, dice Jehová.
18Porque yo entiendo sus obras y sus pensamientos: tiempo vendrá para juntar todas las gentes y lenguas; y vendrán, y verán mi gloria.
19Y pondré entre ellos señal, y enviaré de los escapados de ellos á las gentes, á Tarsis, á Pul y Lud, que disparan arco, á Tubal y á Javán, á las islas apartadas que no oyeron de mí, ni vieron mi gloria; y publicarán mi gloria entre las gentes.
20Y traerán á todos vuestros hermanos de entre todas las naciones, por presente á Jehová, en caballos, en carros, en literas, y en mulos, y en camellos, á mi santo monte de Jerusalem, dice Jehová, al modo que los hijos de Israel traen el presente en vasos limpios á la casa de Jehová.
21Y tomaré también de ellos para sacerdotes y Levitas, dice Jehová.
22Porque como los cielos nuevos y la nueva tierra, que yo hago, permanecen delante de mí, dice Jehová, así permanecerá vuestra simiente y vuestro nombre.
23Y será que de mes en mes, y de sábado en sábado, vendrá toda carne á adorar delante de mí, dijo Jehová.
24Y saldrán, y verán los cadáveres de los hombres que se rebelaron contra mí: porque su gusano nunca morirá, ni su fuego se apagará; y serán abominables á toda carne.

1Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
3He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
4I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
5Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
6A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
7Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
8Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
9Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
10Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:
11That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
12For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
13As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
15For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
17They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
18For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
19And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
20And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
21And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.
22For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
24And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

1The LORD says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build to me? Where will I rest?
2For my hand has made all these things, and so all these things came to be,” says the LORD: “but I will look to this man, even to he who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.
3He who kills an ox is as he who kills a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, as he who breaks a dog’s neck; he who offers an offering, as he who offers pig’s blood; he who burns frankincense, as he who blesses an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
4I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears on them, because when I called, no one answered; when I spoke, they didn’t listen, but they did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I didn’t delight.”

13As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you. You will be comforted in Jerusalem.”
14You will see it, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones will flourish like the tender grass. The LORD’s hand will be known among his servants; and he will have indignation against his enemies.
