3Wer Stiere schlachtet, der erschlägt auch Männer; wer Schafe opfert, bricht auch Hunden das Genick. Wer Speiseopfer darbringt, tut es auch mit Schweineblut. Verbrennt er Weihrauch, tut er's auch zu Ehren eines Abgotts. Ja, diese haben ihre eignen Wege sich erwählt, ergötzen sich an ihren Scheusalen.
