Isaías 62

1Um Zions willen will ich nicht schweigen und um Jerusalems willen nicht ruhen, bis wie Lichtglanz ihr Recht hervorbricht, und ihr Heil wie eine brennende Fackel.
2Und die Völker werden deine Gerechtigkeit sehen und alle Könige deine Herrlichkeit, und man wird dich mit einem neuen Namen benennen, den der Mund Jahwes bestimmen wird.
3Und du wirst eine prächtige Krone in der Hand Jahwes sein und ein königlicher Kopfbund in der Hand deines Gottes.
4Man wird dich nicht länger “Verlassene” heißen und deine Heimat wird man nicht länger “Wüstenei” heißen, sondern “Meine Lust an ihr” wird man dich nennen und deine Heimat “Vermählte”; denn Jahwe hat seine Lust an dir und deine Heimat wird wiederum vermählt sein.
5Denn wie sich ein Jüngling vermählt mit einer Jungfrau, so werden sich dir deine Kinder vermählen, und Wonne, wie ein Bräutigam über seine Braut, wird dein Gott über dich empfinden.
6Über deine Mauern, Jerusalem, habe ich Wächter bestellt: den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht hindurch mögen sie niemals schweigen. Ihr, die ihr Jahwe mahnen sollt, gönnt euch keine Ruhe!
7Und laßt ihm keine Ruhe, bis er Jerusalem herstellt, und bis er es macht zu einem Gegenstande des Lobpreises auf der Erde!
8Jahwe hat geschworen bei seiner Rechten und bei seinem starken Arme: Nie will ich mehr überlassen dein Getreide deinen Feinden zur Speise, noch sollen Fremdlinge deinen Most trinken, um den du dich abgemüht hast!
9Vielmehr: die es einernten, die sollen es verzehren und Jahwe preisen, und die ihn einbringen, die sollen ihn trinken in meinen heiligen Vorhöfen.
10Zieht hindurch, zieht hindurch durch die Thore! Richtet her den Weg für das Volk! Macht Bahn, macht Bahn! Räumt alle Steine aus dem Wege! Pflanzt ein Panier für die Völker auf!
11Läßt doch Jahwe verkündigen bis ans Ende der Welt: Saget der Tochter Zion: Fürwahr, dein Heil kommt herbei! Fürwahr, sein Lohn kommt mit ihm, und was er erworben, schreitet vor ihm her!
12Und man wird sie nennen “das heilige Volk”, “die Erlösten Jahwes”; dich aber, Zion! wird man “Ausgesuchte” nennen, “Stadt, die nicht verlassen ward”.

1POR amor de Sión no callaré, y por amor de Jerusalem no he de parar, hasta que salga como resplandor su justicia, y su salud se encienda como una antorcha.
2Entonces verán las gentes tu justicia, y todos los reyes tu gloria; y te será puesto un nombre nuevo, que la boca de Jehová nombrará.
3Y serás corona de gloria en la mano de Jehová, y diadema de reino en la mano del Dios tuyo.
4Nunca más te llamarán Desamparada, ni tu tierra se dirá más Asolamiento; sino que serás llamada Hephzibah, y tu tierra, Beulah; porque el amor de Jehová será en ti, y tu tierra será casada.
5Pues como el mancebo se casa con la virgen, se casarán contigo tus hijos; y como el gozo del esposo con la esposa, así se gozará contigo el Dios tuyo.
6Sobre tus muros, oh Jerusalem, he puesto guardas; todo el día y toda la noche no callarán jamás. Los que os acordáis de Jehová, no ceséis,
7Ni le deis tregua, hasta que confirme, y hasta que ponga á Jerusalem en alabanza en la tierra.
8Juró Jehová por su mano derecha, y por el brazo de su fortaleza: Que jamás daré tu trigo por comida á tus enemigos, ni beberán los extraños el vino que tú trabajaste:
9Mas los que lo allegaron lo comerán, y alabarán á Jehová; y los que lo cogieron, lo beberán en los atrios de mi santuario.
10Pasad, pasad por las puertas; barred el camino al pueblo; allanad, allanad la calzada, quitad las piedras, alzad pendón á los pueblos.
11He aquí que Jehová hizo oir hasta lo último de la tierra: Decid á la hija de Sión: He aquí viene tu Salvador; he aquí su recompensa con él, y delante de él su obra.
12Y llamarles han Pueblo Santo, Redimidos de Jehová; y á ti te llamarán Ciudad Buscada, no desamparada.

1For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
2And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
3Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
5For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
6I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
9But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
10Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
11Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
World English Bible
1For Zion’s sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness shines out like the dawn, and her salvation like a burning lamp.
2The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. You will be called by a new name, which the LORD’s mouth will name.
3You will also be a crown of beauty in the LORD’s hand, and a royal diadem in your God’s hand.
4You will not be called Forsaken any more, nor will your land be called Desolate any more; but you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD delights in you, and your land will be married.
5For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.
6I have set watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem. They will never be silent day nor night. You who call on the LORD, take no rest,
7and give him no rest until he establishes, and until he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8The LORD has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, “Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies, and foreigners will not drink your new wine, for which you have labored,
9but those who have harvested it will eat it, and praise the LORD. Those who have gathered it will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.”
10Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way of the people! Build up, build up the highway! Gather out the stones! Lift up a banner for the peoples.
11Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth: “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your salvation comes! Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him!’”
12They will call them “The Holy People, The LORD’s Redeemed”. You will be called “Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken”.
