Isaías 61
Biblia Torres Amat
1A este fin ha reposado sobre mí el espíritu del Señor; porque el Señor me ha ungido, y me ha enviado para hablar a los mansos y humildes, para curar a los de corazón contrito, y predicar la redención a los esclavos, y la libertad a los que están encarcelados;
2para publicar el año de reconciliación con el Señor, o su jubileo, y el día de la venganza de nuestro Dios; para que yo consuele a todos los que lloran;
3para cuidar a los de Sión que están llorando, y para darles una corona de gloria, en lugar de la ceniza que cubre sus cabezas; el óleo propio de los días solemnes y alegres en vez de luto; un ropaje de gloria en cambio de su espíritu de aflicción; y los que habitarán en ella serán llamados los valientes en la justicia, plantío del Señor para gloria suya.
4Los cuales repoblarán los lugares que desde tiempos remotos están desiertos, y alzarán las ruinas antiguas, y restaurarán las ciudades yermas, despobladas desde siglos.
5Entonces se presentarán los extranjeros, y apacentarán vuestros ganados, y los hijos de los forasteros serán vuestros labradores y viñadores.
6Vosotros, seréis llamados sacerdotes del Señor; a vosotros se os dará el nombre de ministros de Dios; seréis alimentados con la sustancia de las naciones y os honraréis con la gloria de ellas.
7En vez de vuestra doble confusión y vergüenza, daréis las gracias de la parte de herencia que os tocará; y por eso poseeréis en vuestra tierra doblada porción, y será perdurable vuestra alegría.
8Porque soy yo el Señor que amo la justicia, y que aborrezco el robo consagrado en holocausto; y yo recompensaré fielmente sus obras; y asentaré con ellos eterna alianza.
9Y será discernido entre los pueblos su linaje y su descendencia en medio de las naciones; cuantos los vieren los conocerán, por ser ellos el linaje bendito del Señor.
10Yo me regocijaré con sumo gozo en el Señor, y el alma mía se llenará de placer en mi Dios; pues él me ha revestido del ropaje de la salud, y me ha cubierto con el manto de la justicia, como a esposo adornado con guirnalda, y como esposa ataviada con sus joyas.
11Porque así como la tierra produce sus plantas, y el jardín hace brotar la semilla que se ha sembrado en él, así el Señor Dios hará florecer su justicia y su gloria, a vista de todas las naciones.

1EL espíritu del Señor Jehová es sobre mí, porque me ungió Jehová; hame enviado á predicar buenas nuevas á los abatidos, á vendar á los quebrantados de corazón, á publicar libertad á los cautivos, y á los presos abertura de la cárcel;
2A promulgar año de la buena voluntad de Jehová, y día de venganza del Dios nuestro; á consolar á todos los enlutados;
3A ordenar á Sión á los enlutados, para darles gloria en lugar de ceniza, óleo de gozo en lugar del luto, manto de alegría en lugar del espíritu angustiado; y serán llamados árboles de justicia, plantío de Jehová, para gloria suya.
4Y edificarán los desiertos antiguos, y levantarán los asolamientos primeros, y restaurarán las ciudades asoladas, los asolamientos de muchas generaciones.
5Y estarán extranjeros, y apacentarán vuestras ovejas, y los extraños serán vuestros labradores y vuestros viñadores.
6Y vosotros seréis llamados sacerdotes de Jehová, ministros del Dios nuestro seréis dichos: comeréis las riquezas de las gentes, y con su gloria seréis sublimes.
7En lugar de vuestra doble confusión, y de vuestra deshonra, os alabarán en sus heredades; por lo cual en sus tierras poseerán doblado, y tendrán perpetuo gozo.
8Porque yo Jehová soy amador del derecho, aborrecedor del latrocinio para holocausto; por tanto afirmaré en verdad su obra, y haré con ellos pacto perpetuo.
9Y la simiente de ellos será conocida entre las gentes, y sus renuevos en medio de los pueblos; todos los que los vieren, los conocerán, que son simiente bendita de Jehová.
10En gran manera me gozaré en Jehová, mi alma se alegrará en mi Dios; porque me vistió de vestidos de salud, rodeóme de manto de justicia, como á novio me atavió, y como á novia compuesta de sus joyas.
11Porque como la tierra produce su renuevo, y como el huerto hace brotar su simiente, así el Señor Jehová hará brotar justicia y alabanza delante de todas las gentes.

1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
4And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
7For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
8For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
9And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
10I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
11For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
World English Bible
1The Lord GOD’s Spirit is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,
2to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
3to provide for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.
4They will rebuild the old ruins. They will raise up the former devastated places. They will repair the ruined cities that have been devastated for many generations.
5Strangers will stand and feed your flocks. Foreigners will work your fields and your vineyards.
6But you will be called the LORD’s priests. Men will call you the servants of our God. You will eat the wealth of the nations. You will boast in their glory.
7Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them.
8“For I, the LORD, love justice. I hate robbery and iniquity. I will give them their reward in truth and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
9Their offspring will be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge them, that they are the offspring which the LORD has blessed.”
10I will greatly rejoice in the LORD! My soul will be joyful in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation. He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11For as the earth produces its bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring up, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.
