Nova Bíblia Viva
1Agora eu vou cantar para o meu amado uma canção que fala da sua vinha. O meu amado teve uma vinha na encosta de uma colina muito fértil.
2Ele cavou a terra, tirou todas as pedras e plantou na sua vinha as melhores mudas de uva. No meio da vinha, construiu uma torre para o vigia e fez um tanque para espremer as uvas e fazer o vinho. Ele esperava que a vinha desse uvas doces, mas acabou colhendo uvas bravas, azedas.
3“Agora, habitantes de Jerusalém e de Judá, sejam os juízes entre mim e a minha vinha!
4Faltou alguma coisa à minha vinha? Houve alguma coisa que deixei de fazer por ela? Por que a minha vinha produziu uvas azedas em vez de doces?
5Vejam o que vou fazer com a minha vinha: Vou derrubar a cerca para que ela seja transformada em pasto para o gado; derrubarei o seu muro para que seja pisoteada.
6Ela vai se transformar num deserto. Não será podada; o mato e os espinhos crescerão por toda parte. Darei ordem às nuvens para que não derramem chuva sobre ela”.
7O que eu acabei de contar a vocês é a história do povo de Deus. Israel é a vinha do Senhor Todo-poderoso, sua bela propriedade. Ele esperava um povo justo, mas houve derramamento de sangue; ele esperava que fizessem o que era direito, mas acabou vendo a maldade e a exploração.
8Ai de vocês que vivem comprando casas e mais casas, propriedades e mais propriedades, até não haver mais lugar para os outros morarem, e vocês acabam se tornando os únicos donos da terra!
9O Senhor Todo-poderoso me disse: “Muitas casas, grandes e ricas, ficarão sem seus moradores, abandonadas.
10Uma vinha de dez alqueires não produzirá nem cinco litros de vinho, e para se colher vinte quilos de trigo vai ser preciso plantar duzentos quilos de semente”.
11Ai dos que acordam cedo e passam o dia bebendo, e se esquentam com o vinho até a noite!
12Há sempre harpas, liras, tamborins, flautas e vinho em suas festas; mas ninguém dá valor às grandes coisas que o Senhor fez, ninguém se interessa por ele!
13Por causa dessa ignorância e ingratidão, vou mandar o meu povo para o exílio. Os homens ricos e as autoridades morrerão de fome, e os mais humildes morrerão de sede.
14O mundo dos mortos já está esperando impaciente, de boca aberta! Os ricos de Jerusalém, com todo o barulho das suas festas, os que viviam bêbados e alegres na cidade, para lá descerão.
15Quando isso acontecer, os orgulhosos serão humilhados, a humanidade se curvará, os arrogantes e atrevidos terão de baixar os olhos.
16Mas o Senhor Todo-poderoso será honrado; ele será exaltado acima de todos os homens, porque só ele é santo, justo e bom.
17Quando isso acontecer, as ovelhas pastarão ali como em sua própria pastagem; e os pastores aproveitarão as ruínas dos judeus ricos para apascentar seus cordeiros.
18Vai ser muito triste o destino das pessoas que amarram os seus pecados com cordas de mentiras, que arrastam a sua maldade como quem puxa com cordas uma carroça,
19e ainda fazem pouco caso do Santo de Israel, desafiando o Senhor, dizendo: “Ande logo, Deus! Que o Santo de Israel realize depressa os seus planos, para que o conheçamos!”
20Ai dos que chamam o mal de bem e o bem de mal; que dizem que as trevas são luz e a luz, trevas; que afirmam que o amargo é doce e o doce é amargo!
21Ai dos que são sábios aos seus próprios olhos e dos que se consideram inteligentes e sensatos!
22Ai dos que são heróis em beber vinho e são mestres em misturar bebidas alcoólicas;
23gente que aceita dinheiro para torcer a justiça, dando liberdade ao culpado e negando a justiça ao inocente!
24Por isso, assim como a palha é consumida pelo fogo e as chamas acabam com a grama seca, assim suas raízes vão murchar e morrer; e as suas flores, como o pó, serão levadas pelo vento, pois não deram importância nem obedeceram à lei do Senhor Todo-poderoso e desprezaram as palavras do Santo de Israel.
25É por isso que o Senhor ficou irado com o seu povo. Por isso, na sua ira, estendeu a sua mão para castigar o seu povo. Os montes tremeram, e os cadáveres serão espalhados como lixo pelas ruas. Mesmo assim a ira do Senhor ainda não passou; sua mão continua levantada para castigar seu povo.
26Ele levanta uma bandeira para mandar um aviso a uma nação distante, e assobia para um povo dos confins da terra; e eles virão bem depressa!
27Esses exércitos nunca se cansam nem tropeçam, não cochilam nem dormem. Os seus uniformes estão bem apertados; ninguém desamarra a correia das sandálias.
28As flechas deles são afiadas, e os seus arcos estão sempre prontos para atirar. Quando atacam, os cascos dos seus cavalos são duros como pedra, e as rodas dos seus carros de guerra parecem redemoinhos.
29Eles rugem como um leão, como leões ferozes, caindo sobre a sua presa e a arrastam para um lugar onde ninguém pode socorrê-los.
30O barulho desse exército, quando atacar Judá, será como o barulho do mar. Sobre a terra de Israel haverá escuridão; o povo estará cheio de medo, e nuvens negras escurecerão a luz do dia.

1AHORA cantaré por mi amado el cantar de mi amado á su viña. Tenía mi amado una viña en un recuesto, lugar fértil.
2Habíala cercado, y despedregádola, y plantádola de vides escogidas: había edificado en medio de ella una torre, y también asentado un lagar en ella: y esperaba que llevase uvas, y llevó uvas silvestres.
3Ahora pues, vecinos de Jerusalem y varones de Judá, juzgad ahora entre mí y mi viña.
4¿Qué más se había de hacer á mi viña, que yo no haya hecho en ella? ¿Cómo, esperando yo que llevase uvas, ha llevado uvas silvestres?
5Os mostraré pues ahora lo que haré yo á mi viña: Quitaréle su vallado, y será para ser consumida; aportillaré su cerca, y será para ser hollada;
6Haré que quede desierta; no será podada ni cavada, y crecerá el cardo y las espinas: y aun á las nubes mandaré que no derramen lluvia sobre ella.
7Ciertamente la viña de Jehová de los ejércitos es la casa de Israel, y los hombres de Judá planta suya deleitosa. Esperaba juicio, y he aquí vileza; justicia, y he aquí clamor.
8¡Ay de los que juntan casa con casa, y allegan heredad á heredad hasta acabar el término! ¿Habitaréis vosotros solos en medio de la tierra?
9Ha llegado á mis oídos de parte de Jehová de los ejércitos, que las muchas casas han de quedar asoladas, sin morador las grandes y hermosas.
10Y diez huebras de viña producirán un zaque, y treinta modios de simiente darán tres modios.
11¡Ay de los que se levantan de mañana para seguir la embriaguez; que se están hasta la noche, hasta que el vino los enciende!
12Y en sus banquetes hay arpas, vihuelas, tamboriles, flautas, y vino; y no miran la obra de Jehová, ni consideran la obra de sus manos.
13Por tanto mi pueblo fué llevado cautivo, porque no tuvo ciencia: y su gloria pereció de hambre, y su multitud se secó de sed.
14Por eso ensanchó su interior el sepulcro, y sin medida extendió su boca; y allá descenderá la gloria de ellos, y su multitud, y su fausto, y el que en él se holgaba.
15Y el hombre será humillado, y el varón será abatido, y bajados serán los ojos de los altivos.
16Mas Jehová de los ejércitos será ensalzado en juicio, y el Dios Santo será santificado con justicia.
17Y los corderos serán apacentados según su costumbre; y extraños comerán las gruesas desamparadas.
18¡Ay de los que traen la iniquidad con cuerdas de vanidad, y el pecado como con coyundas de carreta,
19Los cuales dicen: Venga ya, apresúrese su obra, y veamos: acérquese, y venga el consejo del Santo de Israel, para que lo sepamos!
20¡Ay de los que á lo malo dicen bueno, y á lo bueno malo; que hacen de la luz tinieblas, y de las tinieblas luz; que ponen lo amargo por dulce, y lo dulce por amargo!
21¡Ay de los sabios en sus ojos, y de los que son prudentes delante de sí mismos!
22¡Ay de los que son valientes para beber vino, y hombres fuertes para mezclar bebida;
23Los que dan por justo al impío por cohechos, y al justo quitan su justicia!
24Por tanto, como la lengua del fuego consume las aristas, y la llama devora la paja, así será su raíz como pudrimiento, y su flor se desvanecerá como polvo: porque desecharon la ley de Jehová de los ejércitos, y abominaron la palabra del Santo de Israel.
25Por esta causa se encendió el furor de Jehová contra su pueblo, y extendió contra él su mano, é hirióle; y se estremecieron los montes, y sus cadáveres fueron arrojados en medio de las calles. Con todo esto no ha cesado su furor, antes está su mano todavía extendida.
26Y alzará pendón á gentes de lejos, y silbará al que está en el cabo de la tierra; y he aquí que vendrá pronto y velozmente.
27No habrá entre ellos cansado, ni que vacile; ninguno se dormirá ni le tomará sueño; á ninguno se le desatará el cinto de los lomos, ni se le romperá la correa de sus zapatos.
28Sus saetas amoladas, y todos sus arcos entesados; las uñas de sus caballos parecerán como de pedernal, y las ruedas de sus carros como torbellino.
29Su bramido como de león; rugirá á manera de leoncillos, rechinará los dientes, y arrebatará la presa; la apañara, y nadie se la quitará.
30Y bramará sobre él en aquel día como bramido de la mar: entonces mirará hacia la tierra, y he aquí tinieblas de tribulación, y en sus cielos se oscurecerá la luz.

1Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
2And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
3And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
4What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
5And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
6And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
7For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
8Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!
9In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.
10Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.
11Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
12And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.
13Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
14Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
15And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
16But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.
17Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.
18Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:
19That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!
20Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
22Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
24Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
25Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
26And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
27None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:
28Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
29Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
30And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
World English Bible
1Let me sing for my well beloved a song of my beloved about his vineyard. My beloved had a vineyard on a very fruitful hill.
2He dug it up, gathered out its stones, planted it with the choicest vine, built a tower in the middle of it, and also cut out a wine press in it. He looked for it to yield grapes, but it yielded wild grapes.
3“Now, inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, please judge between me and my vineyard.
4What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? Why, when I looked for it to yield grapes, did it yield wild grapes?
5Now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard. I will take away its hedge, and it will be eaten up. I will break down its wall, and it will be trampled down.
6I will lay it a wasteland. It won’t be pruned or hoed, but it will grow briers and thorns. I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain on it.”
7For the vineyard of the LORD of Armies is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant. He looked for justice, but behold, oppression, for righteousness, but behold, a cry of distress.
8Woe to those who join house to house, who lay field to field, until there is no room, and you are made to dwell alone in the middle of the land!
9In my ears, the LORD of Armies says: “Surely many houses will be desolate, even great and beautiful, unoccupied.
10For ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and a homer of seed shall yield an ephah.”
11Woe to those who rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink, who stay late into the night, until wine inflames them!
12The harp, lyre, tambourine, and flute, with wine, are at their feasts; but they don’t respect the work of the LORD, neither have they considered the operation of his hands.
13Therefore my people go into captivity for lack of knowledge. Their honorable men are famished, and their multitudes are parched with thirst.
14Therefore Sheol has enlarged its desire, and opened its mouth without measure; and their glory, their multitude, their pomp, and he who rejoices among them, descend into it.
15So man is brought low, mankind is humbled, and the eyes of the arrogant ones are humbled;
16but the LORD of Armies is exalted in justice, and God the Holy One is sanctified in righteousness.
17Then the lambs will graze as in their pasture, and strangers will eat the ruins of the rich.
18Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of falsehood, and wickedness as with cart rope,
19who say, “Let him make haste, let him hasten his work, that we may see it; let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near and come, that we may know it!”
20Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
22Woe to those who are mighty to drink wine, and champions at mixing strong drink;
23who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice for the innocent!
24Therefore as the tongue of fire devours the stubble, and as the dry grass sinks down in the flame, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust, because they have rejected the law of the LORD of Armies, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
25Therefore the LORD’s anger burns against his people, and he has stretched out his hand against them and has struck them. The mountains tremble, and their dead bodies are as refuse in the middle of the streets. For all this, his anger is not turned away, but his hand is still stretched out.
26He will lift up a banner to the nations from far away, and he will whistle for them from the end of the earth. Behold, they will come speedily and swiftly.
27No one shall be weary nor stumble among them; no one shall slumber nor sleep, neither shall the belt of their waist be untied, nor the strap of their sandals be broken,
28whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent. Their horses’ hoofs will be like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind.
29Their roaring will be like a lioness. They will roar like young lions. Yes, they shall roar, and seize their prey and carry it off, and there will be no one to deliver.
30They will roar against them in that day like the roaring of the sea. If one looks to the land, behold, darkness and distress. The light is darkened in its clouds.
