E la renderò deserta, e non sarà potata, né sarchiata, e vi cresceranno sterpi, e spine, e comanderò alle nuvole, che non piovano stilla sopra di lei.

Imperocché la vigna del Signore degli eserciti, ella è la casa d'Israele; se gli uomini di Giuda (sono) piantagione diletta di lui; ed aspettai, che facesse giudizio, ed eccoti l'iniquità, e (aspettai) la giustizia, ed ecco le strida.
Ciertamente la viña de Jehová de los ejércitos es la casa de Israel, y los hombres de Judá planta suya deleitosa. Esperaba juicio, y he aquí vileza; justicia, y he aquí clamor.
For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

Guai a voi, che aggiungete casa a casa, e podere a podere, finché luogo rimanga: abiterete forse voi soli in mezzo alla terra?
¡Ay de los que juntan casa con casa, y allegan heredad á heredad hasta acabar el término! ¿Habitaréis vosotros solos en medio de la tierra?

Queste cose io ascolto, dice il Signor degli eserciti: In verità molte case e grandi, e belle saran deserte, e senza abitatore.

In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.

E il Signore degli eserciti sarà esaltato nel (suo) giudizio, e il Dio santo sarà riconosciuto per santo nel far giustizia.
Mas Jehová de los ejércitos será ensalzado en juicio, y el Dios Santo será santificado con justicia.
But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

E pascoleranno gli agnelli secondo il lor uso, e de' terreni deserti ridotti a fertilità viveranno gli stranieri.
Y los corderos serán apacentados según su costumbre; y extraños comerán las gruesas desamparadas.
Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.
Then the lambs will graze as in their pasture, and strangers will eat the ruins of the rich.
Guai a voi, che tirate l'iniquità colle funi della vanità, e il peccato come il carro colla fune (si tira).
¡Ay de los que traen la iniquidad con cuerdas de vanidad, y el pecado como con coyundas de carreta,

I quali dite: Si affretti, e venga presto quel, ch'ei vuol fare, affinchè veggiamo; e si avvicini, e venga la risoluzione del Santo d'Israele, e l'intenderemo.
Los cuales dicen: Venga ya, apresúrese su obra, y veamos: acérquese, y venga el consejo del Santo de Israel, para que lo sepamos!

Voi, che per donativi assolvete l'empio, e il giusto spogliate di sua giustizia.
Los que dan por justo al impío por cohechos, y al justo quitan su justicia!
Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice for the innocent!
Per questo come la lingua del fuoco divora le stoppie, e il calor della fiamma le abbrucia, così la loro radice sarà quasi favilla, e il loro fiore spergerassi qual polvere. Imperocché han rigettata la legge del Signore degli eserciti, ed han bestemmiata la parola del Santo d'Israele.
Por tanto, como la lengua del fuego consume las aristas, y la llama devora la paja, así será su raíz como pudrimiento, y su flor se desvanecerá como polvo: porque desecharon la ley de Jehová de los ejércitos, y abominaron la palabra del Santo de Israel.
Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Per questo il furor del Signore si è acceso contro il suo popolo, e ha stesa sopra di lui la sua mano, e lo ha percosso; e i monti ne son restati commossi, e i loro cadaveri qual fango giacciono in mezzo alle piazze. Né per tutto questo il furore di lui si è acquietato, ma è estesa tuttora la mano di lui.
Por esta causa se encendió el furor de Jehová contra su pueblo, y extendió contra él su mano, é hirióle; y se estremecieron los montes, y sus cadáveres fueron arrojados en medio de las calles. Con todo esto no ha cesado su furor, antes está su mano todavía extendida.
Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

E alzerà bandiera alle nazioni di lontano, e col fischio chiamerà lui dall'estremità della terra, ed ecco, che egli sollecito verrà con fretta.
Y alzará pendón á gentes de lejos, y silbará al que está en el cabo de la tierra; y he aquí que vendrá pronto y velozmente.
And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
He will lift up a banner to the nations from far away, and he will whistle for them from the end of the earth. Behold, they will come speedily and swiftly.
Non è tra di loro chi sia stanco, od infermo, né sonnacchioso, né dormiglione, non deporrà (mai) il cingolo de' suoi fianchi, né scioglierà le corregge delle sue scarpe.
No habrá entre ellos cansado, ni que vacile; ninguno se dormirá ni le tomará sueño; á ninguno se le desatará el cinto de los lomos, ni se le romperá la correa de sus zapatos.
None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:

Le saette di lui aguzze, e tesi tutti i suoi archi. Gli zoccoli de' suoi cavalli sono qual selce, e la ruote impetuose come bufera.
Sus saetas amoladas, y todos sus arcos entesados; las uñas de sus caballos parecerán como de pedernal, y las ruedas de sus carros como torbellino.
Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:

Ei rugge come lione, ruggirà come un branco di giovani leoni, e fremerà, e darà di piglio alla preda, e la terrà stretta, né sarà chi gliela strappi.
Su bramido como de león; rugirá á manera de leoncillos, rechinará los dientes, y arrebatará la presa; la apañara, y nadie se la quitará.
Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
Their roaring will be like a lioness. They will roar like young lions. Yes, they shall roar, and seize their prey and carry it off, and there will be no one to deliver.
E il romore di lui sarà per essi in quel giorno come fiotto di mare: guarderemo la terra, ed ecco tenebre di tribolazione, di cui la caligine oscura la luce. Isaia vede la gloria di Dio; e condanna se stesso per aver taciuto: sono purificate le sue labbra, ed egli si dimostra pronto a predicare. Si predice l'accecamento del popolo fino alla desolazione delle città di Giuda, e la consolazione di colei, che era derelitta.
Y bramará sobre él en aquel día como bramido de la mar: entonces mirará hacia la tierra, y he aquí tinieblas de tribulación, y en sus cielos se oscurecerá la luz.
And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
They will roar against them in that day like the roaring of the sea. If one looks to the land, behold, darkness and distress. The light is darkened in its clouds.
