Eis que a mão do SENHOR não está encolhida, para que não possa salvar; nem o seu ouvido pesado, para que não possa ouvir.
HE aquí que no se ha acortado la mano de Jehová para salvar, ni hase agravado su oído para oir:

Mas as iniquidades de vocês fizeram separação entre vocês e o seu Deus, e os seus pecados ocultaram de vocês o rosto dele, de modo que ele não ouvirá.

Tateamos o muro como os cegos. Sim, tateamos como aqueles que não têm olhos. Tropeçamos ao meio-dia como se fosse crepúsculo. Entre os fortes, somos como homens mortos.
Palpamos la pared como ciegos, y andamos á tiento como sin ojos; tropezamos al medio día como de noche; estamos en oscuros lugares como muertos.
We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.

Todos nós rugimos como ursos e gememos tristemente como pombas. Procuramos por justiça, mas não há nenhuma, por salvação, mas ela está longe de nós.

Sim, a verdade está em falta; e aquele que se desvia do mal faz de si mesmo uma presa. O SENHOR viu isso, e desagradou-lhe que não houvesse justiça.

De acordo com as obras deles, ele retribuirá conforme o devido: ira aos seus adversários, retribuição aos seus inimigos. Ele retribuirá às ilhas o que lhes é devido.
Como para retribuir, como para retornar ira á sus enemigos, y dar el pago á sus adversarios: el pago dará á las islas.

Assim, eles temerão o nome do SENHOR desde o oeste, e a sua glória desde o nascente do sol; pois ele virá como uma corrente impetuosa, impelida pelo sopro do SENHOR.
Y temerán desde el occidente el nombre de Jehová, y desde el nacimiento del sol su gloria: porque vendrá el enemigo como río, mas el espíritu de Jehová levantará bandera contra él.

“Um Redentor virá a Sião, e àqueles que se desviarem da desobediência em Jacó”, diz o SENHOR.
