Isaías 55
Biblia Torres Amat
1Sedientos, venid todos a las aguas; y vosotros que no tenéis dinero apresuraos, comprad y comed; venid, comprad sin dinero y sin ninguna otra permuta vino y leche.
2¿Por qué expendéis vuestro dinero en cosas que no son buen alimento, y empleáis vuestras fatigas en lo que no puede saciaros? Escuchadme con atención; y alimentaos del buen manjar, y vuestra alma se recreará en lo más sustancioso de las viandas.
3Prestad oídos a mis palabras, y venid a mí: Escuchad, y vuestra alma hallará vida y asentaré con vosotros alianza sempiterna, en cumplimiento de las misericordias prometidas a David.
4He aquí que yo voy a presentarle por testigo de mi verdad a los pueblos, y por caudillo, y por maestro o legislador a las naciones.
5He aquí que entonces, tú, ¡oh Jerusalén !, llamarás al pueblo gentil que tú no reconocías; y las naciones que no te conocían correrán a ti por amor del Señor Dios tuyo, y del Santo de Israel que te habrá llenado de gloria.
6Buscad al Señor, mientras pueda ser hallado: invocadle mientras está cercano.
7Abandone el impío su camino y el inicuo sus designios, y conviértase al Señor, el cual se apiadará de él, y a nuestro Dios, que es generosísimo en perdonar.
8Que los pensamientos míos no son vuestros pensamientos, ni vuestros caminos son los caminos míos, dice el Señor;
9sino que cuanto se eleva el cielo sobre la tierra, así se elevan mis caminos sobre los caminos vuestros, y mis pensamientos sobre los pensamientos vuestros.
10Y al modo que la lluvia y la nieve descienden del cielo, y no vuelven allá, sino que empapan la tierra, y la penetran, y la fecundan, a fin de que dé simiente que sembrar y pan que comer,
11así será de mi palabra una vez salida de mi boca; no volverá a mí vacía o sin fruto, sino que obrará todo aquello que yo quiero, y ejecutará felizmente aquellas cosas a que yo la envié.
12Por tanto saldréis con gozo de la esclavitud, y haréis en paz vuestro viaje a Jerusalén ; los montes y los collados resonarán a vuestra vista en cánticos de alabanza, y los árboles todos del país os aplaudirán meciendo sus ramas.
13En vez de la pequeña planta del espliego se alzará el robusto abeto, y en lugar de la ortiga se verá crecer el arrayán; y el Señor tendrá desde entonces un nombre y una señal eterna que jamás desaparecerá.

1A TODOS los sedientos: Venid á las aguas; y los que no tienen dinero, venid, comprad, y comed. Venid, comprad, sin dinero y sin precio, vino y leche.
2¿Por qué gastáis el dinero no en pan, y vuestro trabajo no en hartura? Oidme atentamente, y comed del bien, y deleitaráse vuestra alma con grosura.
3Inclinad vuestros oídos, y venid á mí; oid, y vivirá vuestra alma; y haré con vosotros pacto eterno, las misericordias firmes á David.
4He aquí, que yo lo dí por testigo á los pueblos, por jefe y por maestro á las naciones.
5He aquí, llamarás á gente que no conociste, y gentes que no te conocieron correrán á ti; por causa de Jehová tu Dios, y del Santo de Israel que te ha honrado.
6Buscad á Jehová mientras puede ser hallado, llamadle en tanto que está cercano.
7Deje el impío su camino, y el hombre inicuo sus pensamientos; y vuélvase á Jehová, el cual tendrá de él misericordia, y al Dios nuestro, el cual será amplio en perdonar.
8Porque mis pensamientos no son vuestros pensamientos, ni vuestros caminos mis caminos, dijo Jehová.
9Como son más altos los cielos que la tierra, así son mis caminos más altos que vuestros caminos, y mis pensamientos más que vuestros pensamientos.
10Porque como desciende de los cielos la lluvia, y la nieve, y no vuelve allá, sino que harta la tierra, y la hace germinar y producir, y da simiente al que siembra, y pan al que come;
11Así será mi palabra que sale de mi boca: no volverá á mí vacía, antes hará lo que yo quiero, y será prosperada en aquello para que la envié.
12Porque con alegría saldréis, y con paz seréis vueltos; los montes y los collados levantarán canción delante de vosotros, y todos los árboles del campo darán palmadas de aplauso.
13En lugar de la zarza crecerá haya, y en lugar de la ortiga crecerá arrayán: y será á Jehová por nombre, por señal eterna que nunca será raída.

1Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
4Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
5Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
6Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
12For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

1“Hey! Come, everyone who thirsts, to the waters! Come, he who has no money, buy, and eat! Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which doesn’t satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in richness.
3Turn your ear, and come to me. Hear, and your soul will live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
4Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples.
5Behold, you shall call a nation that you don’t know; and a nation that didn’t know you shall run to you, because of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.”
6Seek the LORD while he may be found. Call on him while he is near.
