1Ach ihr Durstigen alle, kommt her zum Wasser, und ihr alle, die ihr kein Geld habt, kommt herbei, kauft (Brot) und eßt! Ja kommt, kauft ohne Zahlung und unentgeltlich Wein und Milch!
2Warum wollt ihr Geld für das zahlen, was kein Brot ist, und euren sauren Verdienst für etwas, das nicht zur Sättigung dient? Hört doch auf mich, so sollt ihr Gutes zu essen haben, und laben soll sich eure Seele an fetter Speise!
3Leiht mir euer Ohr und kommt her zu mir! Hört, auf daß eure Seele auflebt! Denn ich will mit euch einen ewigen Bund schließen, (will) die dem David gegebenen unverbrüchlichen Gnadenverheißungen (verwirklichen).
4Wisset wohl: ich habe ihn zum Zeugen für Völker bestellt, zum Fürsten und Gebieter von Völkerschaften.
5Wisset wohl: Volksstämme, die du nicht kennst, wirst du herbeirufen, und Volksstämme, die auch dich nicht gekannt haben, werden zu dir herbeieilen um des HERRN, deines Gottes, willen und wegen des Heiligen Israels, weil er dich verherrlicht hat.
6Suchet den HERRN, solange er sich finden läßt; ruft ihn an, solange er nahe ist!
7Der Gottlose verlasse seinen Weg und der auf Frevel Bedachte seine Gedanken und kehre zum HERRN zurück, daß er sich seiner erbarme, und zu unserm Gott, denn er übt reichlich Vergebung.
8Denn »meine Gedanken sind nicht eure Gedanken, und eure Wege sind nicht meine Wege« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –;
9»sondern soviel der Himmel höher als die Erde ist, soviel höher sind meine Wege als eure Wege und meine Gedanken höher als eure Gedanken.
10Denn gleichwie der Regen und der Schnee vom Himmel herabfällt und nicht dorthin zurückkehrt, er habe denn die Erde getränkt und befruchtet und sie zum Grünen gebracht, so daß sie dem Sämann Samen und dem Essenden Brot gegeben hat –
11ebenso verhält es sich auch mit meinem Wort, das aus meinem Munde hervorgeht: es kehrt nicht leer zu mir zurück, sondern erst dann, wenn es das ausgerichtet hat, was ich gewollt habe, und das zustande gebracht hat, wozu ich es gesandt habe.«
12Denn mit Freuden sollt ihr ausziehen und in Frieden geleitet werden; die Berge und Hügel werden vor euch her in Jubel ausbrechen und alle Bäume des Gefildes in die Hände klatschen;
13statt des Dorngestrüpps werden Zypressen emporwachsen und statt der Nesseln Myrten sprießen; und das wird für den HERRN zum Ruhme dienen, zu einem ewigen Denkzeichen, das nicht ausgetilgt wird.

1A TODOS los sedientos: Venid á las aguas; y los que no tienen dinero, venid, comprad, y comed. Venid, comprad, sin dinero y sin precio, vino y leche.
2¿Por qué gastáis el dinero no en pan, y vuestro trabajo no en hartura? Oidme atentamente, y comed del bien, y deleitaráse vuestra alma con grosura.
3Inclinad vuestros oídos, y venid á mí; oid, y vivirá vuestra alma; y haré con vosotros pacto eterno, las misericordias firmes á David.
4He aquí, que yo lo dí por testigo á los pueblos, por jefe y por maestro á las naciones.
5He aquí, llamarás á gente que no conociste, y gentes que no te conocieron correrán á ti; por causa de Jehová tu Dios, y del Santo de Israel que te ha honrado.
6Buscad á Jehová mientras puede ser hallado, llamadle en tanto que está cercano.
7Deje el impío su camino, y el hombre inicuo sus pensamientos; y vuélvase á Jehová, el cual tendrá de él misericordia, y al Dios nuestro, el cual será amplio en perdonar.
8Porque mis pensamientos no son vuestros pensamientos, ni vuestros caminos mis caminos, dijo Jehová.
9Como son más altos los cielos que la tierra, así son mis caminos más altos que vuestros caminos, y mis pensamientos más que vuestros pensamientos.
10Porque como desciende de los cielos la lluvia, y la nieve, y no vuelve allá, sino que harta la tierra, y la hace germinar y producir, y da simiente al que siembra, y pan al que come;
11Así será mi palabra que sale de mi boca: no volverá á mí vacía, antes hará lo que yo quiero, y será prosperada en aquello para que la envié.
12Porque con alegría saldréis, y con paz seréis vueltos; los montes y los collados levantarán canción delante de vosotros, y todos los árboles del campo darán palmadas de aplauso.
13En lugar de la zarza crecerá haya, y en lugar de la ortiga crecerá arrayán: y será á Jehová por nombre, por señal eterna que nunca será raída.

1Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
4Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
5Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
6Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
12For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

1“Hey! Come, everyone who thirsts, to the waters! Come, he who has no money, buy, and eat! Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which doesn’t satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in richness.
3Turn your ear, and come to me. Hear, and your soul will live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
4Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples.
5Behold, you shall call a nation that you don’t know; and a nation that didn’t know you shall run to you, because of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.”
