10Doch dem HERRN hatte es gefallen, ihn mit Krankheit zu zerschlagen; wenn er sein Leben als Sühne einsetzen wird, soll er Samen sehen und lange Tage leben und der Wille des HERRN durch ihn gedeihen.

10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he will see his offspring. He will prolong his days and the LORD’s pleasure will prosper in his hand.
