Isaías 48

Um meines Namens willen halte ich hin meinen Zorn, und um meines Ruhmes willen verschone ich dich, dass ich dich nicht ausrotte. (a) Jes 43:25

Por amor de mi nombre dilataré mi furor, y para alabanza mía te daré largas, para no talarte.

For my name’s sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.

For my name’s sake, I will defer my anger, and for my praise, I hold it back for you so that I don’t cut you off.
