6Ich hatte auf mein Volk gezürnt; die ewig Meinen hatte ich entweiht und sie in deine Hand gegeben. Kein Mitleid hattest du für sie; den Alten machtest du dein Joch gar schwer.

6I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.

6I was angry with my people. I profaned my inheritance and gave them into your hand. You showed them no mercy. You laid a very heavy yoke on the aged.
