Isaías 45

1So hat der HERR zu seinem Gesalbten gesprochen, zu Cyrus, den ich bei seiner rechten Hand ergriffen habe, um Völker vor ihm niederzustrecken und den Gürtel von den Hüften der Könige zu lösen, um Türen vor ihm aufzutun und Tore, damit sie ihm nicht verschlossen bleiben:
2»Ich will selbst vor dir hergehen und das Unwegsame ebnen; eherne Pforten will ich sprengen und eiserne Riegel zerschlagen;
3ich will dir die im Dunkel verborgenen Schätze übergeben und die wohlversteckten Kostbarkeiten, damit du erkennst, daß ich, der HERR, es bin, der dich bei deinem Namen gerufen hat, der Gott Israels.
4Um meines Knechtes Jakob und um Israels, meines Erwählten, willen habe ich dich bei deinem Namen gerufen und dir Ehrennamen verliehen, ohne daß du mich kanntest.
5Ich bin der HERR, und sonst ist keiner da: außer mir gibt’s keinen Gott. Ich habe dich gegürtet, ohne daß du mich kanntest,
6damit man erkenne vom Aufgang der Sonne und von ihrem Niedergang her, daß es außer mir keinen Gott gibt. Ich bin der HERR, und sonst ist keiner!
7Der ich das Licht bilde und die Finsternis schaffe, der ich Heil verleihe und Unglück schaffe: ich, der HERR, bin es, der dies alles wirkt!«
8»Laßt rieseln von oben, ihr Himmel, Segen, und die Wolken mögen ihn herabströmen lassen! Die Erde tue (ihren Schoß) auf, damit Heil erblühe, und sie lasse Gerechtigkeit sprossen zugleich! Ich, der HERR, habe selbst es geschaffen.«
9»Wehe dem, der mit seinem Bildner hadert, er, eine bloße Scherbe unter irdenen Scherben! Darf wohl der Ton zum Töpfer, der ihn formt, sagen: ›Was machst du da?‹ und ›Dein Werk hat keine Handhabe‹?
10Wehe dem, der zu einem Vater sagt: ›Warum setzest du Kinder in die Welt?‹ und zu einem Weibe: ›Warum wirst du Mutter?‹«
11So hat der HERR gesprochen, der Heilige Israels und sein Bildner: »Über die kommenden Dinge befragt mich! Meine Söhne und das Werk meiner Hände laßt mir anbefohlen sein!
12Ich bin es ja, der die Erde gemacht und die Menschen auf ihr geschaffen hat; ich bin es, dessen Hände den Himmel ausgespannt haben, und sein gesamtes Sternenheer habe ich bestellt.
13Ich habe ihn erweckt in Gerechtigkeit und will alle seine Wege ebnen: er wird meine Stadt wieder aufbauen und meine Weggeführten freigeben weder um Lösegeld noch um Geschenke« – der HERR der Heerscharen hat es ausgesprochen.
14So hat der HERR gesprochen: »Der Reichtum Ägyptens und der Handelsgewinn Äthiopiens und der Sabäer, der hochgewachsenen Männer, werden auf dich überströmen und dir gehören; hinter dir her werden sie ziehen, in Ketten dahinschreiten und vor dir sich verbeugen, werden zu dir flehen: ›Nur bei dir ist Gott, und sonst gibt es keinen, überhaupt keinerlei Gottheit.‹«
15Wahrlich, du bist ein sich verbergender Gott, du Gott Israels, ein Retter!
16Zuschanden sollen sie alle werden und tief beschämt; allesamt sollen sie schmachbedeckt abziehen, die Götzenverfertiger!
17Israel aber wird Rettung erlangen durch den HERRN, eine ewige Rettung; ihr sollt euch nicht zu schämen brauchen und nicht in Schmach geraten bis in alle Ewigkeit.
18Denn so hat der HERR gesprochen, der Schöpfer des Himmels, er, der (wahre) Gott, der die Erde gebildet und gemacht hat – er hat sie hergerichtet; nicht zu einer Einöde hat er sie geschaffen, nein, um bewohnt zu werden, hat er sie gebildet –: »Ich bin der HERR und keiner sonst!
19Nicht im Verborgenen habe ich geredet, nicht in einem dunklen Winkel der Erde; nicht habe ich zu den Nachkommen Jakobs gesagt: ›Vergebens sollt ihr mich suchen!‹ Nein, ich, der HERR, rede Gerechtigkeit und verkünde Aufrichtiges.
20Versammelt euch und tretet herzu, nähert euch insgesamt, ihr Heidenvölker, die ihr (dem Untergang) entronnen seid! Unverständig sind die, welche ihr Götzenbild von geschnitztem Holz einhertragen und zu einem Gott beten, der nicht helfen kann.
21Legt eure Sache dar und tragt sie vor! Mögen sie sich zusammen beraten! Wer hat dieses schon von alters her verlauten lassen, schon vor langer Zeit es angekündigt? Bin nicht ich es gewesen, der HERR, außer dem es keinen Gott weiter gibt? Außer mir gibt es keinen gerechten und rettenden Gott.
22Wendet euch zu mir und laßt euch retten, alle ihr Enden der Erde! Denn ich bin Gott und keiner sonst!
23Bei mir selbst habe ich geschworen, hervorgegangen ist aus meinem Munde Wahrheit und ein Wort, das unverbrüchlich ist: Vor mir soll jedes Knie sich beugen, mir jede Zunge schwören!
24›Im HERRN allein‹ – so wird man bekennen – ›habe ich volle Gerechtigkeit und Stärke‹; zu ihm werden kommen und sich dabei schämen alle, die ihm feindselig widerstrebt haben.
25Im HERRN wird gerechtfertigt werden und seiner sich rühmen die gesamte Nachkommenschaft Israels.«

1ASÍ dice Jehová á su ungido, á Ciro, al cual tomé yo por su mano derecha, para sujetar gentes delante de él y desatar lomos de reyes; para abrir delante de él puertas, y las puertas no se cerrarán:
2Yo iré delante de ti, y enderezaré las tortuosidades; quebrantaré puertas de bronce, y cerrojos de hierro haré pedazos;
3Y te daré los tesoros escondidos, y los secretos muy guardados; para que sepas que yo soy Jehová, el Dios de Israel, que te pongo nombre.
4Por amor de mi siervo Jacob, y de Israel mi escogido, te llamé por tu nombre; púsete sobrenombre, aunque no me conociste.
5Yo Jehová, y ninguno más hay: no hay Dios fuera de mí. Yo te ceñiré, aunque tú no me conociste;
6Para que se sepa desde el nacimiento del sol, y desde donde se pone, que no hay más que yo; yo Jehová, y ninguno más que yo:
7Que formo la luz y crío las tinieblas, que hago la paz y crío el mal. Yo Jehová que hago todo esto.
8Rociad, cielos, de arriba, y las nubes destilen la justicia; ábrase la tierra, y prodúzcanse la salud y la justicia; háganse brotar juntamente. Yo Jehová lo crié.
9¡Ay del que pleitea con su Hacedor! ¡el tiesto con los tiestos de la tierra! ¿Dirá el barro al que lo labra: Qué haces; ó tu obra: No tiene manos?
10¡Ay del que dice al padre: ¿Por qué engendraste? y á la mujer: ¿Por qué pariste?
11Así dice Jehová, el Santo de Israel, y su Formador: Preguntadme de las cosas por venir; mandadme acerca de mis hijos, y acerca de la obra de mis manos.
12Yo hice la tierra, y crié sobre ella al hombre. Yo, mis manos, extendieron los cielos, y á todo su ejército mandé.
13Yo lo desperté en justicia, y enderezaré todos sus caminos; él edificará mi ciudad, y soltará mis cautivos, no por precio ni por dones, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
14Así dice Jehová: El trabajo de Egipto, las mercaderías de Etiopía, y los Sabeos hombres agigantados, se pasarán á ti, y serán tuyos; irán en pos de ti, pasarán con grillos: á ti harán reverencia, y á ti suplicarán, diciendo: Cierto, en ti está Dios, y no hay otro fuera de Dios.
15Verdaderamente tú eres Dios que te encubres, Dios de Israel, que salvas.
16Confusos y avergonzados serán todos ellos; irán con afrenta todos los fabricadores de imágenes.
17Israel es salvo en Jehová con salud eterna; no os avergonzaréis, ni os afrentaréis, por todos los siglos.
18Porque así dijo Jehová, que crió los cielos; él es Dios, el que formó la tierra, el que la hizo y la compuso; no la crió en vano, para que fuese habitada la crió: Yo Jehová, y ninguno más que yo.
19No hablé en escondido, en lugar de tierra de tinieblas; no dije á la generación de Jacob: En vano me buscáis. Yo soy Jehová que hablo justicia, que anuncio rectitud.
20Reuníos, y venid; allegaos, todos los escapados de las gentes: no saben aquellos que erigen el madero de su escultura, y los que ruegan al dios que no salva.
21Publicad, y haced llegar, y entren todos en consulta: ¿quién hizo oir esto desde el principio, y lo tiene dicho desde entonces, sino yo Jehová? Y no hay más Dios que yo; Dios justo y Salvador: ningún otro fuera de mí.
22Mirad á mí, y sed salvos, todos los términos de la tierra: porque yo soy Dios, y no hay más.
23Por mí hice juramento, de mi boca salió palabra en justicia, y no será revocada: Que á mí se doblará toda rodilla, jurará toda lengua.
24Y diráse de mí: Ciertamente en Jehová está la justicia y la fuerza: á él vendrán, y todos los que contra él se enardecen, serán avergonzados.
25En Jehová será justificada y se gloriará toda la generación de Israel.

1Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
2I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
4For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
5I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
6That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
7I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
8Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
9Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
10Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
11Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
12I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
13I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
14Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.
15Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
16They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.
17But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
18For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
19I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
20Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
21Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
22Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
23I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
24Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
25In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

1The LORD says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held to subdue nations before him and strip kings of their armor, to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:
2“I will go before you and make the rough places smooth. I will break the doors of bronze in pieces and cut apart the bars of iron.
3I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the LORD, who calls you by your name, even the God of Israel.
4For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel my chosen, I have called you by your name. I have given you a title, though you have not known me.
5I am the LORD, and there is no one else. Besides me, there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not known me,
6that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is no one besides me. I am the LORD, and there is no one else.
7I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create calamity. I am the LORD, who does all these things.
8Rain, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness. Let the earth open, that it may produce salvation, and let it cause righteousness to spring up with it. I, the LORD, have created it.
9Woe to him who strives with his Maker— a clay pot among the clay pots of the earth! Shall the clay ask him who fashions it, ‘What are you making?’ or your work, ‘He has no hands’?
10Woe to him who says to a father, ‘What have you become the father of?’ or to a mother, ‘What have you given birth to?’”
11The LORD, the Holy One of Israel and his Maker says: “You ask me about the things that are to come, concerning my sons, and you command me concerning the work of my hands!
12I have made the earth, and created man on it. I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens. I have commanded all their army.
13I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will make all his ways straight. He shall build my city, and he shall let my exiles go free, not for price nor reward,” says the LORD of Armies.
14The LORD says: “The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and the Sabeans, men of stature, will come over to you, and they will be yours. They will go after you. They shall come over in chains. They will bow down to you. They will make supplication to you: ‘Surely God is in you; and there is no one else. There is no other god.
15Most certainly you are a God who has hidden yourself, God of Israel, the Savior.’”
16They will be disappointed, yes, confounded, all of them. Those who are makers of idols will go into confusion together.
17Israel will be saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation. You will not be disappointed nor confounded to ages everlasting.
18For the LORD who created the heavens, the God who formed the earth and made it, who established it and didn’t create it a waste, who formed it to be inhabited says: “I am the LORD. There is no other.
19I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness. I didn’t say to the offspring of Jacob, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I, the LORD, speak righteousness. I declare things that are right.
20“Assemble yourselves and come. Draw near together, you who have escaped from the nations. Those have no knowledge who carry the wood of their engraved image, and pray to a god that can’t save.
21Declare and present it. Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has shown this from ancient time? Who has declared it of old? Haven’t I, the LORD? There is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior. There is no one besides me.
22“Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.
23I have sworn by myself. The word has gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and will not be revoked, that to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath.
24They will say of me, ‘There is righteousness and strength only in the LORD.’” Even to him will men come. All those who raged against him will be disappointed.
25All the offspring of Israel will be justified in the LORD, and will rejoice!
