17Aus dem Reste davon aber hat er einen Gott, ein Götterbild für sich gemacht: vor dem kniet er und wirft er sich nieder und zu dem betet er und spricht: Rette mich, denn du bist mein Gott!

17And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.

17The rest of it he makes into a god, even his engraved image. He bows down to it and worships, and prays to it, and says, “Deliver me, for you are my god!”
