Ainsi parle Dieu, le SEIGNEUR, celui qui a créé les cieux et les a déployés, celui qui a étendu la terre et ce qui en sort, celui qui donne la respiration à son peuple et le souffle à ceux qui y marchent :

pour ouvrir les yeux des aveugles, pour faire sortir les prisonniers du cachot, et de la prison ceux qui habitent dans les ténèbres.
Para que abras ojos de ciegos, para que saques de la cárcel á los presos, y de casas de prisión á los que están de asiento en tinieblas.

Mais c'est un peuple pillé et dépouillé. Ils sont tous pris au piège dans des fosses, et ils sont cachés dans des prisons. Ils sont devenus des captifs, et personne ne les délivre, un butin, et personne ne dit : « Restitue-les ! »

Qui a livré Jacob au pillage, et Israël aux pillards ? N'est-ce pas le SEIGNEUR, lui contre qui nous avons péché ? Car ils n'ont pas voulu marcher dans ses voies, et ils ont désobéi à sa loi.
¿Quién dió á Jacob en presa, y entregó á Israel á saqueadores? ¿No fué Jehová, contra quien pecamos? y no quisieron andar en sus caminos, ni oyeron su ley.
Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.

C'est pourquoi il a versé sur lui l'ardeur de sa colère, et la violence de la guerre. Elle l'a embrasé de tous côtés, mais il n'a pas compris. Elle l'a consumé, mais il ne l'a pas pris à cœur. »
