14A cause de cela, voici, je continuerai de faire à l’égard de ce peuple-ci des merveilles et des prodiges étranges : c’est que la sapience de ses sages périra, et l’intelligence de ses hommes savants disparaîtra.

14Por tanto, he aquí que nuevamente excitaré yo la admiración de este pueblo con un prodigio grande y espantoso; porque perecerá la sabiduría de sus sabios, y se desvanecerá la prudencia de sus prudentes.

14Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
