1Ô prêtres, écoutez ce que Je vais vous dire, recueillez-le ; maison d'Israël, maison du roi, prêtez-Moi une oreille attentive : le jugement est près de vous ; car vous êtes comme un filet vers l'affût, comme un lacs tendu sur le Thabor,
2et que des chasseurs ont attaché ; et Moi, je suis Celui qui vous instruit.
3Je connais Éphraïm, et Israël ne M'a point échappé ; parce que maintenant Éphraïm s'est prostitué, et qu'Israël s'est couvert de souillures,
4ils n'ont point pensé, en leur conseil, à se convertir à Dieu ; car l'esprit de prostitution est en eux, et ils ne connaissent point le Seigneur.
5Et l'orgueil d'Israël sera abaissé en sa face, et Israël et Éphraïm trébucheront en leurs iniquités, et Juda aussi tombera avec eux.
6Ils s'en iront, avec leurs bœufs et leurs brebis, pour chercher le Seigneur, et ils ne Le trouveront pas ; car Il S'est éloigné d'eux ;
7parce qu'ils L'ont abandonné et qu'il leur est né des fils d'étrangères, maintenant la nielle les dévorera eux et leurs enfants.
8Trompettes, sonnez sur les collines, retentissez sur les hauts lieux ; annoncez comme des hérauts en la maison de On. Benjamin est dans la stupeur ;
9Éphraïm a été effacé au jour du châtiment. J'ai montré aux tribus d'Israël des choses dignes de foi.
10Les chefs de Juda sont devenus comme ceux qui déplacent les bornes des champs, Je répandrai sur eux Ma fureur comme un torrent.
11Éphraïm a prévalu sur son adversaire ; il a foulé aux pieds le jugement, parce qu'il avait commencé à adorer des choses vaines.
12Et Moi Je suis comme une épouvante pour Éphraïm, comme un aiguillon pour la maison de Juda.
13Et Éphraïm a subi son infirmité, et Juda sa douleur. Et Éphraïm est allé aux Assyriens, et il a envoyé ses anciens chez le roi Jarim. Mais celui-ci n'a pu vous guérir, et vos douleurs ne se sont point calmées ;
14parce que Je suis comme une panthère pour Éphraïm, et comme un lion pour Juda ; et Je M'élancerai, et Je saisirai et ravirai Ma proie, et nul ne pourra Me l'arracher.
15Et Je partirai, et Je retournerai en Ma demeure, jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient exténués et qu'ils recherchent Ma présence. Dans leur tribulation, ils se lèveront de grand matin, et viendront à moi, en disant :

1SACERDOTES, oid esto, y estad atentos, casa de Israel; y casa del rey, escuchad: porque á vosotros es el juicio, pues habéis sido lazo en Mizpa, y red extendida sobre Tabor.
2Y haciendo víctimas han bajado hasta el profundo: por tanto yo seré la corrección de todos ellos.
3Yo conozco á Ephraim, é Israel no me es desconocido: porque ahora, oh Ephraim, has fornicado, y se ha contaminado Israel.
4No pondrán sus pensamientos en volverse á su Dios, porque espíritu de fornicación está en medio de ellos, y no conocen á Jehová.
5Y la soberbia de Israel le desmentirá en su cara: é Israel y Ephraim tropezarán en su pecado: tropezará también Judá con ellos.
6Con sus ovejas y con sus vacas andarán buscando á Jehová, y no le hallarán; apartóse de ellos.
7Contra Jehová prevaricaron, porque hijos extraños han engendrado: ahora los devorará un mes con sus heredades.
8Tocad bocina en Gabaa, trompeta en Ramá: sonad tambor en Beth-aven: tras ti, oh Benjamín.
9Ephraim será asolado el día del castigo: en las tribus de Israel hice conocer verdad.
10Los príncipes de Judá fueron como los que traspasan mojones: derramaré sobre ellos como agua mi ira.
11Ephraim es vejado, quebrantado en juicio, porque quiso andar en pos de mandamientos.
12Yo pues seré como polilla á Ephraim, y como carcoma á la casa de Judá.
13Y verá Ephraim su enfermedad, y Judá su llaga: irá entonces Ephraim al Assur, y enviará al rey Jareb; mas él no os podrá sanar, ni os curará la llaga.
14Porque yo seré como león á Ephraim, y como cachorro de león á la casa de Judá: yo, yo arrebataré, y andaré; tomaré, y no habrá quien liberte.
15Andaré, y tornaré á mi lugar hasta que conozcan su pecado, y busquen mi rostro. En su angustia madrugarán á mí.
King James Version
1Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
2And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.
3I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
4They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.
5And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.
6They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.
7They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.
8Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Beth-aven, after thee, O Benjamin.
9Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
10The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
11Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.
12Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
13When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
14For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
15I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
World English Bible
1“Listen to this, you priests! Listen, house of Israel, and give ear, house of the king! For the judgment is against you; for you have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread on Tabor.
2The rebels are deep in slaughter, but I discipline all of them.
3I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me; for now, Ephraim, you have played the prostitute. Israel is defiled.
4Their deeds won’t allow them to turn to their God, for the spirit of prostitution is within them, and they don’t know the LORD.
5The pride of Israel testifies to his face. Therefore Israel and Ephraim will stumble in their iniquity. Judah also will stumble with them.
6They will go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD, but they won’t find him. He has withdrawn himself from them.
7They are unfaithful to the LORD; for they have borne illegitimate children. Now the new moon will devour them with their fields.
8“Blow the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah! Sound a battle cry at Beth Aven, behind you, Benjamin!
9Ephraim will become a desolation in the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Israel, I have made known that which will surely be.
10The princes of Judah are like those who remove a landmark. I will pour out my wrath on them like water.
11Ephraim is oppressed, he is crushed in judgment, because he is intent in his pursuit of idols.
12Therefore I am to Ephraim like a moth, and to the house of Judah like rottenness.
13“When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his wound, then Ephraim went to Assyria, and sent to King Jareb: but he is not able to heal you, neither will he cure you of your wound.
14For I will be to Ephraim like a lion, and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I myself will tear in pieces and go away. I will carry off, and there will be no one to deliver.
15I will go and return to my place, until they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me earnestly.”
