Dios dio esta bendición a Noé y a sus hijos: «Tengan muchos hijos y vuelvan a llenar la tierra.
Y BENDIJO Dios á Noé y á sus hijos, y díjoles: Fructificad, y multiplicad, y henchid la tierra:
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

Todos los animales de la tierra temblarán de miedo delante de ustedes. Todas las bestias de la tierra, todas las aves, todos los reptiles y todos los peces se tendrán que someter a ustedes.
Y vuestro temor y vuestro pavor será sobre todo animal de la tierra, y sobre toda ave de los cielos, en todo lo que se moverá en la tierra, y en todos los peces del mar: en vuestra mano son entregados.
And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
The fear of you and the dread of you will be on every animal of the earth, and on every bird of the sky. Everything that moves along the ground, and all the fish of the sea, are delivered into your hand.
Les doy todos los animales, lo mismo que las plantas y verduras para que los usen para su alimentación.
Todo lo que se mueve y vive, os será para mantenimiento: así como las legumbres y hierbas, os lo he dado todo.
Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

Pero no deberán comer animales sin haberles sacado la sangre, porque la vida está en la sangre.

Si un animal mata a un ser humano, yo lo castigaré. También castigaré a cualquier persona que mate a otro ser humano. Sí, yo pediré cuentas a cualquier animal o persona que mate a un ser humano.
Porque ciertamente demandaré la sangre de vuestras vidas; de mano de todo animal la demandaré, y de mano del hombre; de mano del varón su hermano demandaré la vida del hombre.
And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.
I will surely require accounting for your life’s blood. At the hand of every animal I will require it. At the hand of man, even at the hand of every man’s brother, I will require the life of man.
El que mate a una persona, otra persona lo matará a él; porque los seres humanos fueron creados a la imagen de Dios.
El que derramare sangre del hombre, por el hombre su sangre será derramada; porque á imagen de Dios es hecho el hombre.
Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

»Ustedes recuerden: “Tengan muchos hijos y vuelvan a poblar la tierra; ¡sí, multiplíquense y llenen la tierra!”».

Entonces Dios les dijo a Noé y a sus hijos: «Hoy mismo hago un pacto con ustedes, con todo hombre y mujer que nazca después de ustedes, y con todos los animales que están con ustedes y que salieron del barco, es decir, con los animales domésticos y salvajes, con las aves y con todos los demás animales que hay en la tierra. Por medio de este pacto les prometo que nunca más enviaré otro diluvio para destruir la tierra. ¡Nunca más mataré a ningún ser viviente por medio de un diluvio!».
Y habló Dios á Noé y á sus hijos con él, diciendo:
And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,

Yo, he aquí que yo establezco mi pacto con vosotros, y con vuestra simiente después de vosotros;
And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
“As for me, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your offspring after you,

Y con toda alma viviente que está con vosotros, de aves, de animales, y de toda bestia de la tierra que está con vosotros; desde todos los que salieron del arca hasta todo animal de la tierra.
And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.
and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the livestock, and every animal of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ship, even every animal of the earth.

Estableceré mi pacto con vosotros, y no fenecerá ya más toda carne con aguas de diluvio; ni habrá más diluvio para destruir la tierra.
And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
I will establish my covenant with you: All flesh will not be cut off any more by the waters of the flood. There will never again be a flood to destroy the earth.”
Además, Dios dijo: «El arco iris servirá de señal para recordar este pacto que acabo de hacer con ustedes y con todos los animales. Sí, cada vez que aparezca el arco iris sobre las nubes les recordará la promesa que he hecho a toda la tierra.
Y dijo Dios: Esta será la señal del pacto que yo establezco entre mí y vosotros y toda alma viviente que está con vosotros, por siglos perpetuos:
And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

Mi arco pondré en las nubes, el cual será por señal de convenio entre mí y la tierra.
I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.
Cuando yo cubra de nubes la tierra, también haré que aparezca el arco iris. De ese modo me acordaré de la promesa que les he hecho a ustedes y a todos los demás seres vivos de la tierra. Así que nunca más los destruiré por medio de un diluvio.
Y será que cuando haré venir nubes sobre la tierra, se dejará ver entonces mi arco en las nubes.
And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
When I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow will be seen in the cloud,

Y acordarme he del pacto mío, que hay entre mí y vosotros y toda alma viviente de toda carne; y no serán más las aguas por diluvio para destruir toda carne.
And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Y estará el arco en las nubes, y verlo he para acordarme del pacto perpetuo entre Dios y toda alma viviente, con toda carne que hay sobre la tierra.
And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

No lo olviden: Esta es la señal del pacto que acabo de hacer con ustedes y con todo ser viviente en la tierra».
Dijo, pues, Dios á Noé: Esta será la señal del pacto que he establecido entre mí y toda carne que está sobre la tierra.
And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
God said to Noah, “This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.”
Los tres hijos de Noé fueron: Sem, Cam y Jafet. (Cam es el padre de Canaán).
Y los hijos de Noé que salieron del arca fueron Sem, Châm y Japhet: y Châm es el padre de Canaán.
And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.
The sons of Noah who went out from the ship were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Ham is the father of Canaan.
De estos tres hijos de Noé proceden todas las naciones de la tierra.

Noé, que era agricultor, plantó una viña e hizo vino. Un día bebió tanto vino que se emborrachó y se quedó desnudo, tendido en el piso de su carpa.
Y comenzó Noé á labrar la tierra, y plantó una viña:

En esas, Cam, el padre de Canaán, entró a la carpa y vio a Noé desnudo. Al salir de la carpa le contó a sus hermanos que había visto a su padre desnudo.
Y Châm, padre de Canaán, vió la desnudez de su padre, y díjolo á sus dos hermanos á la parte de afuera.

Entonces Sem y Jafet tomaron una túnica, se la echaron sobre los hombros y, para evitar ver la desnudez de su padre, entraron caminando hacia atrás y lo cubrieron.

Cuando Noé despertó de su borrachera y supo lo que le había hecho su hijo menor, dijo: «¡Maldito sea Canaán y sus descendientes! ¡Serán esclavos de los descendientes de Sem y Jafet! ¡Serán los esclavos de más bajo rango!».
Y despertó Noé de su vino, y supo lo que había hecho con él su hijo el más joven;

Y dijo: Maldito sea Canaán; siervo de siervos será á sus hermanos.

Luego Noé dijo: «¡Bendito sea el Señor, Dios de Sem! ¡Que Canaán sea esclavo de Sem!
Dijo más: Bendito Jehová el Dios de Sem, y séale Canaán siervo.
And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
He said, “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem. Let Canaan be his servant.
¡Que Dios prospere mucho a Jafet, y que viva en los campamentos de Sem! ¡Que Canaán sea esclavo de Jafet!».
Engrandezca Dios á Japhet, y habite en las tiendas de Sem, y séale Canaán siervo.
God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
May God enlarge Japheth. Let him dwell in the tents of Shem. Let Canaan be his servant.”
Noé vivió otros trescientos cincuenta años después del diluvio,

And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

y tenía novecientos cincuenta años cuando murió.
