Génesis 50

Die Brüder Josephs aber fürchteten sich, da ihr Vater gestorben war, und sprachen: Joseph möchte uns gram sein und vergelten alle Bosheit, die wir an ihm getan haben.

Y viendo los hermanos de José que su padre era muerto, dijeron: Quizá nos aborrecerá José, y nos dará el pago de todo el mal que le hicimos.

And when Joseph’s brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.

When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “It may be that Joseph will hate us, and will fully pay us back for all the evil which we did to him.”
