Danach sagte Kain zu seinem Bruder Abel: Lass uns auf das Feld hinübergehen. So geschah es, als sie auf dem Feld waren, dass Kain dann über Abel, seinen Bruder, herfiel und ihn tötete.

Y habló Caín á su hermano Abel: y aconteció que estando ellos en el campo, Caín se levantó contra su hermano Abel, y le mató.

And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Cain said to Abel, his brother, “Let’s go into the field.” While they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and killed him.
