Und Adam hatte dann wieder Verkehr mit seiner Frau, und so gebar sie einen Sohn und gab ihm den Namen Seth, denn wie sie sagte: Gott hat an Stelle Abels einen anderen Samen gesetzt, weil Kain ihn getötet hat.

Y conoció de nuevo Adam á su mujer, la cual parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Seth: Porque Dios (dijo ella) me ha sustituído otra simiente en lugar de Abel, á quien mató Caín.

And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

Adam knew his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Seth, saying, “for God has given me another child instead of Abel, for Cain killed him.”
