Ma suo padre ricusò di farlo, e disse: Io il so, figliuol mio, io il so; ancora esso diventerà un popolo, e ancora esso sarà grande; ma pure il suo fratel minore sarà più grande di lui, e la progenie di esso sarà una piena di genti.
Mas su padre no quiso, y dijo: Lo sé, hijo mío, lo sé: también él vendrá á ser un pueblo, y será también acrecentado; pero su hermano menor será más grande que él, y su simiente será plenitud de gentes.
And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
