26José estabeleceu o seguinte decreto que vale até hoje na terra do Egito. A quinta parte das colheitas pertence ao faraó. Esse decreto não se aplica aos sacerdotes, porque eles não precisaram vender suas propriedades ao faraó.

26And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh’s.
