Israel partiu com tudo o que tinha, chegou a Berseba e ofereceu sacrifícios ao Deus de seu pai, Isaque.

Y PARTIÓSE Israel con todo lo que tenía, y vino á Beer-seba, y ofreció sacrificios al Dios de su padre Isaac.

And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.

Deus falou a Israel em visões de noite, e disse: “Jacó, Jacó!” Ele respondeu: “Eis-me aqui.”

And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.

And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

Eu descerei com você ao Egito. Eu também certamente o farei subir de novo. A mão de José fechará os seus olhos.”

I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.

Jacó levantou-se de Berseba, e os filhos de Israel levaram Jacó, seu pai, seus pequeninos e suas mulheres, nas carroças que o Faraó tinha enviado para transportá-lo.

Y levantóse Jacob de Beer-seba; y tomaron los hijos de Israel á su padre Jacob, y á sus niños, y á sus mujeres, en los carros que Faraón había enviado para llevarlo.

And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.

Estes são os filhos de Zilpa, a quem Labão deu a sua filha Lia; e ela os deu à luz a Jacó, totalizando dezesseis almas.

All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides Jacob’s sons’ wives, all the souls were threescore and six;

Jacó enviou Judá adiante de si a José, para mostrar o caminho à sua frente até Gósen; e eles chegaram à terra de Gósen.

And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to direct his face unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.

José disse a seus irmãos e à casa de seu pai: “Eu subirei e falarei com o Faraó, e lhe direi: 'Meus irmãos e a casa de meu pai, que estavam na terra de Canaã, vieram para mim.

Y José dijo á sus hermanos, y á la casa de su padre: Subiré y haré saber á Faraón, y diréle: Mis hermanos y la casa de mi padre, que estaban en la tierra de Canaán, han venido á mí;

And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father’s house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father’s house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;

Estes homens são pastores, pois têm sido criadores de gado, e trouxeram os seus rebanhos, o seu gado e tudo o que têm.'

Acontecerá que, quando o Faraó os chamar e disser: 'Qual é a ocupação de vocês?'

And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation?

It will happen, when Pharaoh summons you, and will say, ‘What is your occupation?’

vocês dirão: 'Seus servos têm sido criadores de gado desde a nossa juventude até agora, tanto nós como os nossos pais'; para que vocês possam habitar na terra de Gósen; pois todo pastor de ovelhas é abominação para os egípcios.”

Entonces diréis: Hombres de ganadería han sido tus siervos desde nuestra mocedad hasta ahora, nosotros y nuestros padres; á fin que moréis en la tierra de Gosén, porque los Egipcios abominan todo pastor de ovejas.

That ye shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
