Und wir sprachen zu meinem Herrn: Der Knabe kann seinen Vater nicht verlassen; verließe er seinen Vater, so stürbe er.

Y nosotros dijimos á mi señor: El mozo no puede dejar á su padre, porque si le dejare, su padre morirá.

And we said unto my lord, The lad cannot leave his father: for if he should leave his father, his father would die.

We said to my lord, ‘The boy can’t leave his father, for if he should leave his father, his father would die.’
