Y aconteció que como acabaron de comer el trigo que trajeron de Egipto, díjoles su padre: Volved, y comprad para nosotros un poco de alimento.
And it came to pass, when they had eaten up the corn which they had brought out of Egypt, their father said unto them, Go again, buy us a little food.

Et Juda lui répondit, et lui dit : Cet homme-là nous a expressément protesté, disant : Vous ne verrez point ma face que votre frère ne soit avec vous.
Y respondió Judá, diciendo: Aquel varón nos protestó con ánimo resuelto, diciendo: No veréis mi rostro sin vuestro hermano con vosotros.
And Judah spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

Si donc tu envoies notre frère avec nous, nous descendrons en Egypte, et t’achèterons des vivres.

Mais si tu ne l’envoies, nous n’y descendrons point ; car cet homme-là nous a dit : Vous ne verrez point ma face, que votre frère ne soit avec vous.

Et Israël dit : Pourquoi m’avez-vous fait ce tort de déclarer à cet homme que vous aviez encore un frère ?
Y dijo Israel: ¿Por qué me hicisteis tanto mal, declarando al varón que teníais más hermano?
And Israel said, Wherefore dealt ye so ill with me, as to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother?
Israel said, “Why did you treat me so badly, telling the man that you had another brother?”
Et ils répondirent : Cet homme s’est soigneusement enquis de nous, et de notre parenté, et nous a dit : Votre père vit-il encore ? N’avez-vous point de frère ? Et nous lui avons déclaré, selon ce qu’il nous avait demandé ; pouvions-nous savoir qu’il dirait : Faites descendre votre frère ?
Y ellos respondieron: Aquel varón nos preguntó expresamente por nosotros, y por nuestra parentela, diciendo: ¿Vive aún vuestro padre? ¿tenéis otro hermano? y declarámosle conforme á estas palabras. ¿Podíamos nosotros saber que había de decir: Haced venir á vuestro hermano?
And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye another brother? and we told him according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?
They said, “The man asked directly concerning ourselves, and concerning our relatives, saying, ‘Is your father still alive? Have you another brother?’ We just answered his questions. Is there any way we could know that he would say, ‘Bring your brother down’?”
Et Juda dit à Israël son père : Envoie l’enfant avec moi, et nous nous mettrons en chemin, et nous en irons, et nous vivrons, et ne mourrons point, ni nous, ni toi aussi, ni nos petits enfants.
Entonces Judá dijo á Israel su padre: Envía al mozo conmigo, y nos levantaremos é iremos, á fin que vivamos y no muramos nosotros, y tú, y nuestros niños.
And Judah said unto Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, and also our little ones.

J’en réponds, redemande-le de ma main ; si je ne te le ramène ; et si je ne te le représente, je serai toute ma vie sujet à la peine envers toi.
Yo lo fío; á mí me pedirás cuenta de él: si yo no te lo volviere y lo pusiere delante de ti, seré para ti el culpante todos los días:
I will be surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require him: if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear the blame for ever:
I’ll be collateral for him. From my hand will you require him. If I don’t bring him to you, and set him before you, then let me bear the blame forever;
Que si nous n’eussions pas tant différé, certainement nous serions déjà de retour une seconde fois.
Que si no nos hubiéramos detenido, cierto ahora hubiéramos ya vuelto dos veces.
For except we had lingered, surely now we had returned this second time.
for if we hadn’t delayed, surely we would have returned a second time by now.”
Alors Israël leur père leur dit : Si cela est ainsi, faites ceci, prenez dans vos vaisseaux des choses les plus renommées du pays, et portez à cet homme un présent, quelque peu de baume, et quelque peu de miel, des drogues, de la myrrhe, des dattes, et des amandes.
Entonces Israel su padre les respondió: Pues que así es, hacedlo; tomad de lo mejor de la tierra en vuestros vasos, y llevad á aquel varón un presente, un poco de bálsamo, y un poco de miel, aromas y mirra, nueces y almendras.
And their father Israel said unto them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:

Et prenez de l’argent au double en vos mains, et rapportez celui qui a été remis à l’ouverture de vos sacs ; peut-être cela s’est fait par ignorance.
Y tomad en vuestras manos doblado dinero, y llevad en vuestra mano el dinero vuelto en las bocas de vuestros costales; quizá fué yerro.
And take double money in your hand; and the money that was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again in your hand; peradventure it was an oversight:

Y el Dios Omnipotente os dé misericordias delante de aquel varón, y os suelte al otro vuestro hermano, y á este Benjamín. Y si he de ser privado de mis hijos, séalo.
And God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.

Alors ils prirent le présent, et ayant pris de l’argent au double en leurs mains, et Benjamin, ils se mirent en chemin, et descendirent en Egypte ; puis ils se présentèrent devant Joseph.
Entonces tomaron aquellos varones el presente, y tomaron en su mano doblado dinero, y á Benjamín; y se levantaron, y descendieron á Egipto, y presentáronse delante de José.
And the men took that present, and they took double money in their hand, and Benjamin; and rose up, and went down to Egypt, and stood before Joseph.

Et ces hommes eurent peur de ce qu’on les menait dans la maison de Joseph, et ils dirent : Nous sommes amenés à cause de l’argent qui fut remis la première fois dans nos sacs, c’est afin qu il se tourne et se jette sur nous, et nous prenne pour esclaves, et qu’il prenne nos ânes.
Y aquellos hombres tuvieron temor, cuando fueron metidos en casa de José, y decían: Por el dinero que fué vuelto en nuestros costales la primera vez nos han metido aquí, para revolver contra nosotros, y dar sobre nosotros, y tomarnos por siervos á nosotros, y á nuestros asnos.
And the men were afraid, because they were brought into Joseph’s house; and they said, Because of the money that was returned in our sacks at the first time are we brought in; that he may seek occasion against us, and fall upon us, and take us for bondmen, and our asses.

Et lorsque nous fûmes arrivés à l’hôtellerie, et que nous eûmes ouvert nos sacs, voici, l’argent de chacun était à l’ouverture de son sac, notre même argent selon son poids ; mais nous l’avons rapporté en nos mains.
Y aconteció que como vinimos al mesón y abrimos nuestros costales, he aquí el dinero de cada uno estaba en la boca de su costal, nuestro dinero en su justo peso; y hémoslo vuelto en nuestras manos.
And it came to pass, when we came to the inn, that we opened our sacks, and, behold, every man’s money was in the mouth of his sack, our money in full weight: and we have brought it again in our hand.

Et il leur dit : Tout va bien pour vous, ne craignez point ; votre Dieu et le Dieu de votre père vous a donné un trésor dans vos sacs, votre argent est parvenu jusqu’à moi ; et il leur amena Siméon.
Y él respondió: Paz á vosotros, no temáis; vuestro Dios y el Dios de vuestro padre os dió el tesoro en vuestros costales: vuestro dinero vino á mí. Y sacó á Simeón á ellos.
And he said, Peace be to you, fear not: your God, and the God of your father, hath given you treasure in your sacks: I had your money. And he brought Simeon out unto them.
He said, “Peace be to you. Don’t be afraid. Your God, and the God of your father, has given you treasure in your sacks. I received your money.” He brought Simeon out to them.
Et cet homme les fit entrer dans la maison de Joseph, et leur donna de l’eau, et ils lavèrent leurs pieds ; il donna aussi à manger à leurs ânes.

Y alzando él sus ojos vió á Benjamín su hermano, hijo de su madre, y dijo: ¿Es éste vuestro hermano menor, de quien me hablasteis? Y dijo: Dios tenga misericordia de ti, hijo mío.
And he lifted up his eyes, and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother’s son, and said, Is this your younger brother, of whom ye spake unto me? And he said, God be gracious unto thee, my son.
