Después de estas cosas, el siervo principal que tenía el cuidado del vino, y el jefe de los panaderos en la casa de Faraón, hicieron algo contra las órdenes de Faraón;
Y ACONTECIÓ después de estas cosas, que el copero del rey de Egipto y el panadero delinquieron contra su señor el rey de Egipto.
And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.

Y el Faraón se enojó con sus dos siervos, con el siervo principal y el jefe de la panadería;

And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.

Y los puso en la cárcel bajo el cuidado del capitán del ejército, en la misma prisión donde el propio José estaba encerrado.
Y púsolos en prisión en la casa del capitán de los de la guardia, en la casa de la cárcel donde José estaba preso.
And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.

y el capitán los puso a cargo de José, e hizo lo que se necesitaba; y estuvieron en prisión por algún tiempo.
Y el capitán de los de la guardia dió cargo de ellos á José, y él les servía: y estuvieron días en la prisión.
And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward.
The captain of the guard assigned them to Joseph, and he took care of them. They stayed in prison many days.
Y estos dos tuvieron un sueño en la misma noche; el principal sirviente de vino y el principal panadero del rey de Egipto, que estaban en la cárcel, los dos tenían sueños con un sentido especial.
Y ambos á dos, el copero y el panadero del rey de Egipto, que estaban arrestados en la prisión, vieron un sueño, cada uno su sueño en una misma noche, cada uno conforme á la declaración de su sueño.
And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison.

Y a la mañana cuando José llegó a ellos, vio que estaban tristes.

And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad.

Y dijo a los siervos de Faraón que estaban en la cárcel con él: ¿Por qué te ves tan triste?
Y él preguntó á aquellos eunucos de Faraón, que estaban con él en la prisión de la casa de su señor, diciendo: ¿Por qué parecen hoy mal vuestros semblantes?
And he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with him in the ward of his lord’s house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?
He asked Pharaoh’s officers who were with him in custody in his master’s house, saying, “Why do you look so sad today?”
Entonces ellos le dijeron: Hemos tenido un sueño, y nadie puede darnos el sentido. Y José dijo: ¿Acaso el sentido de los sueños no proviene de Dios? ¿Cuál fue tu sueño?
Y ellos le dijeron: Hemos tenido un sueño, y no hay quien lo declare. Entonces les dijo José: ¿No son de Dios las declaraciones? Contádmelo ahora.
And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.
They said to him, “We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them, “Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”
Entonces el siervo principal dio a José cuenta de su sueño, y dijo: En mi sueño vi una vid delante de mí;
Entonces el principal de los coperos contó su sueño á José, y díjole: Yo soñaba que veía una vid delante de mí,
And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me;
The chief cup bearer told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, “In my dream, behold, a vine was in front of me,
Y en la vid tres ramas; y parecía que sacaba brotes y flores, y de ellos salían uvas listas para cortar.
Y en la vid tres sarmientos; y ella como que brotaba, y arrojaba su flor, viniendo á madurar sus racimos de uvas:
And in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:

Y la copa de Faraón estaba en mi mano, y tomé las uvas y las trituré en la copa de Faraón, y puse la copa en la mano de Faraón.
Y que la copa de Faraón estaba en mi mano, y tomaba yo las uvas, y las exprimía en la copa de Faraón, y daba yo la copa en mano de Faraón.
And Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand.

Entonces dijo José: Este es el sentido de tu sueño: las tres ramas son tres días;
Y díjole José: Esta es su declaración: Los tres sarmientos son tres días:
And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days:
Joseph said to him, “This is its interpretation: the three branches are three days.
Después de tres días, Faraón te dará honor, y te hará volver a tu lugar, y le darás su copa como lo hiciste antes, cuando eras su siervo.
Al cabo de tres días Faraón te hará levantar cabeza, y te restituirá á tu puesto: y darás la copa á Faraón en su mano, como solías cuando eras su copero.
Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.
Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head, and restore you to your office. You will give Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, the way you did when you were his cup bearer.
Pero ten en cuenta cuando las cosas te vayan bien, y sé bueno conmigo y di una buena palabra para mí a Faraón y sácame de esta prisión:
Acuérdate, pues, de mí para contigo cuando tuvieres ese bien, y ruégote que uses conmigo de misericordia, y hagas mención de mí á Faraón, y me saques de esta casa:
But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:
But remember me when it is well with you. Please show kindness to me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house.
Porque en verdad fui tomado por la fuerza de la tierra de los hebreos; y no he hecho nada por lo que pueda ser encarcelado.
Porque hurtado he sido de la tierra de los Hebreos; y tampoco he hecho aquí porqué me hubiesen de poner en la cárcel.
For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.

Y cuando el jefe de los panaderos vio que el primer sueño tenía buen sentido, dijo a José: Tuve un sueño; y en mi sueño había tres canastas de pan blanco en mi cabeza;
Y viendo el principal de los panaderos que había declarado para bien, dijo á José: También yo soñaba que veía tres canastillos blancos sobre mi cabeza;
When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head:
When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said to Joseph, “I also was in my dream, and behold, three baskets of white bread were on my head.
Y en la canasta superior había toda clase de carnes cocidas para Faraón; y los pájaros los sacaban de las canastas en mi cabeza.
Y en el canastillo más alto había de todas las viandas de Faraón, obra de panadero; y que las aves las comían del canastillo de sobre mi cabeza.
And in the uppermost basket there was of all manner of bakemeats for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head.
In the uppermost basket there were all kinds of baked food for Pharaoh, and the birds ate them out of the basket on my head.”
Entonces dijo José: Este es el sentido de tu sueño: las tres cestas son tres días;
Entonces respondió José, y dijo: Esta es su declaración: Los tres canastillos tres días son;
And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: The three baskets are three days:
Joseph answered, “This is its interpretation. The three baskets are three days.
Después de tres días, el Faraón te sacará de la cárcel, colgándote de un árbol, para que tu carne sea alimento para las aves.
Al cabo de tres días quitará Faraón tu cabeza de sobre ti, y te hará colgar en la horca, y las aves comerán tu carne de sobre ti.
Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.
Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head from off you, and will hang you on a tree; and the birds will eat your flesh from off you.”
Ahora bien, el tercer día era el cumpleaños de Faraón, y él dio una fiesta a todos sus siervos; y dio honor al principal sirviente de vino y al principal panadero entre los demás.
Y fué el tercero día el día del nacimiento de Faraón, é hizo banquete á todos sus sirvientes: y alzó la cabeza del principal de los coperos, y la cabeza del principal de los panaderos, entre sus servidores.
And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.
On the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, he made a feast for all his servants, and he lifted up the head of the chief cup bearer and the head of the chief baker among his servants.
Y volvió a poner al siervo principal en su lugar antiguo; y él dio la copa en la mano de Faraón.
E hizo volver á su oficio al principal de los coperos; y dió él la copa en mano de Faraón.
And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand:
He restored the chief cup bearer to his position again, and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand;
Pero el principal panadero fue muerto ahorcándolo, como José había dicho.
Mas hizo ahorcar al principal de los panaderos, como le había declarado José.
But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.

Pero el siervo no tuvo a José en mente sino que lo olvido.
Y el principal de los coperos no se acordó de José, sino que le olvidó.
Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.
Yet the chief cup bearer didn’t remember Joseph, but forgot him.
