E i suoi fratelli, veggendo che il padre loro l’amava più che tutti i suoi fratelli, l’odiavano, e non potevano parlar con lui in pace

Y viendo sus hermanos que su padre lo amaba más que á todos sus hermanos, aborrecíanle, y no le podían hablar pacíficamente.

And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

His brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, and they hated him, and couldn’t speak peaceably to him.
