Génesis 37

Als Ruben †das hörte, wollte er ihn aus ihrer Hand (Gewalt) retten (entreißen) und sagte: Wir dürfen (lasst uns) sein Leben nicht nehmen.

Y como Rubén oyó esto, librólo de sus manos, y dijo: No lo matemos.

And Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him.

Reuben heard it, and delivered him out of their hand, and said, “Let’s not take his life.”
