Voici la postérité d’Ésaü, qui est Édom.

Y ESTAS son las generaciones de Esaú, el cual es Edom.

Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.

Now this is the history of the generations of Esau (that is, Edom).

Ésaü prit ses femmes parmi les filles de Canaan: Ada, fille d’Élon, le Héthien; Oholibama, fille d’Ana, fille de Tsibeon, le Hévien;

Esaú tomó sus mujeres de las hijas de Canaán: á Ada, hija de Elón Hetheo, y á Aholibama, hija de Ana, hija de Zibeón el Heveo;

Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;

et Basmath, fille d’Ismaël, sœur de Nebajoth.

Ésaü prit ses femmes, ses fils et ses filles, toutes les personnes de sa maison, ses troupeaux, tout son bétail, et tout le bien qu’il avait acquis au pays de Canaan, et il s’en alla dans un autre pays, loin de Jacob, son frère.

And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.

Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the members of his household, with his livestock, all his animals, and all his possessions, which he had gathered in the land of Canaan, and went into a land away from his brother Jacob.

Car leurs richesses étaient trop considérables pour qu’ils demeurassent ensemble, et la contrée où ils séjournaient ne pouvait plus leur suffire à cause de leurs troupeaux.

Porque la hacienda de ellos era grande, y no podían habitar juntos, ni la tierra de su peregrinación los podía sostener á causa de sus ganados.

For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.

For their substance was too great for them to dwell together, and the land of their travels couldn’t bear them because of their livestock.

Ésaü s’établit dans la montagne de Séir. Ésaü, c’est Édom.

Y Esaú habitó en el monte de Seir: Esaú es Edom.

Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau’s son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau’s wife.

And these are the sons of Aholibamah Esau’s wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah: these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.

Ce sont là les fils d’Ésaü, et ce sont là leurs chefs de tribus. Ésaü, c’est Édom.

Les fils de Lothan furent: Hori et Hémam. La sœur de Lothan fut Thimna.

Voici les fils de Tsibeon: Ajja et Ana. C’est cet Ana qui trouva les sources chaudes dans le désert, quand il faisait paître les ânes de Tsibeon, son père.

Y los hijos de Zibeón fueron Aja, y Ana. Este Ana es el que descubrió los mulos en el desierto, cuando apacentaba los asnos de Zibeón su padre.

And these are the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.

And Baal-hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
