Génesis 30

Als nun Rahel sah, daß sie dem Jakob keine Kinder gebar, wurde sie auf ihre Schwester neidisch und sagte zu Jakob: »Schaffe mir Kinder, oder ich sterbe!«

Y VIENDO Rachêl que no daba hijos á Jacob, tuvo envidia de su hermana, y decía á Jacob: Dame hijos, ó si no, me muero.

And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

When Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister. She said to Jacob, “Give me children, or else I will die.”

Da geriet Jakob in Zorn gegen Rahel und sagte: »Stehe ich etwa an Gottes Statt, der dir Kindersegen versagt hat?«

Y Jacob se enojaba contra Rachêl, y decía: ¿Soy yo en lugar de Dios, que te impidió el fruto de tu vientre?

And Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God’s stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?

Jacob’s anger burned against Rachel, and he said, “Am I in God’s place, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

Da erwiderte sie: »Hier hast du meine Leibmagd Bilha; gehe zu ihr ein, damit sie auf meinen Knien gebiert und auch ich durch sie zu Kindern komme!«

Y ella dijo: He aquí mi sierva Bilha; entra á ella, y parirá sobre mis rodillas, y yo también tendré hijos de ella.

And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her.

She said, “Behold, my maid Bilhah. Go in to her, that she may bear on my knees, and I also may obtain children by her.”

So gab sie ihm ihre Leibmagd Bilha zum (Neben-) Weib, und Jakob ging zu ihr ein;

Así le dió á Bilha su sierva por mujer; y Jacob entró á ella.

And she gave him Bilhah her handmaid to wife: and Jacob went in unto her.

She gave him Bilhah her servant as wife, and Jacob went in to her.

da wurde Bilha guter Hoffnung und gebar dem Jakob einen Sohn.

Y concibió Bilha, y parió á Jacob un hijo.

And Bilhah conceived, and bare Jacob a son.

Bilhah conceived, and bore Jacob a son.

Rahel aber sagte: »Gott hat mich mein Recht finden lassen und auch meine Bitte erhört und mir einen Sohn geschenkt!« Darum gab sie ihm den Namen Dan.

Y dijo Rachêl: Juzgóme Dios, y también oyó mi voz, y dióme un hijo. Por tanto llamó su nombre Dan.

And Rachel said, God hath judged me, and hath also heard my voice, and hath given me a son: therefore called she his name Dan.

Rachel said, “God has judged me, and has also heard my voice, and has given me a son.” Therefore she called his name Dan.

Hierauf wurde Bilha, die Leibmagd Rahels, wieder guter Hoffnung und gebar dem Jakob einen zweiten Sohn.

Y concibió otra vez Bilha, la sierva de Rachêl, y parió el hijo segundo á Jacob.

And Bilhah Rachel’s maid conceived again, and bare Jacob a second son.

Bilhah, Rachel’s servant, conceived again, and bore Jacob a second son.

Da sagte Rahel: »Gotteskämpfe habe ich mit meiner Schwester gekämpft und habe auch gesiegt!« Darum nannte sie ihn Naphthali.

Y dijo Rachêl: Con luchas de Dios he contendido con mi hermana, y he vencido. Y llamó su nombre Nephtalí.

And Rachel said, With great wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali.

Rachel said, “I have wrestled with my sister with mighty wrestlings, and have prevailed.” She named him Naphtali.

Als nun Lea sah, daß sie nicht mehr Mutter wurde, nahm sie ihre Leibmagd Silpa und gab sie dem Jakob zum (Neben-) Weibe.

Y viendo Lea que había dejado de parir, tomó á Zilpa su sierva, y dióla á Jacob por mujer.

When Leah saw that she had left bearing, she took Zilpah her maid, and gave her Jacob to wife.

When Leah saw that she had finished bearing, she took Zilpah, her servant, and gave her to Jacob as a wife.

So gebar denn Silpa, die Leibmagd Leas, dem Jakob einen Sohn.

Y Zilpa, sierva de Lea, parió á Jacob un hijo.

And Zilpah Leah’s maid bare Jacob a son.

Zilpah, Leah’s servant, bore Jacob a son.

Da sagte Lea: »Glückauf!« und gab ihm den Namen Gad.

Y dijo Lea: Vino la ventura. Y llamó su nombre Gad.

And Leah said, A troop cometh: and she called his name Gad.

Leah said, “How fortunate!” She named him Gad.

Hierauf gebar Silpa, die Leibmagd Leas, dem Jakob noch einen zweiten Sohn.

Y Zilpa, la sierva de Lea, parió otro hijo á Jacob.

And Zilpah Leah’s maid bare Jacob a second son.

Zilpah, Leah’s servant, bore Jacob a second son.

Da sagte Lea: »Ich Glückliche! Ja, glücklich werden mich die Töchter des Volkes preisen!« Darum nannte sie ihn Asser.

Y dijo Lea: Para dicha mía; porque las mujeres me dirán dichosa: y llamó su nombre Aser.

And Leah said, Happy am I, for the daughters will call me blessed: and she called his name Asher.

Leah said, “Happy am I, for the daughters will call me happy.” She named him Asher.

Als nun Ruben einmal in den Tagen der Weizenernte ausging, fand er Liebesäpfel auf dem Felde und brachte sie seiner Mutter Lea. Da sagte Rahel zu Lea: »Gib mir doch einige von den Liebesäpfeln deines Sohnes!«

Y fué Rubén en tiempo de la siega de los trigos, y halló mandrágoras en el campo, y trájolas á Lea su madre: y dijo Rachêl á Lea: Ruégote que me des de las mandrágoras de tu hijo.

And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son’s mandrakes.

Aber sie antwortete ihr: »Ist es nicht genug, daß du mir meinen Mann genommen hast? Willst du mir nun auch noch die Liebesäpfel meines Sohnes nehmen?« Darauf antwortete Rahel: »So mag Jakob denn diese Nacht bei dir verbringen zum Entgelt für die Liebesäpfel deines Sohnes!«

Y ella respondió: ¿Es poco que hayas tomado mi marido, sino que también te has de llevar las mandrágoras de mi hijo? y dijo Rachêl: Pues dormirá contigo esta noche por las mandrágoras de tu hijo.

And she said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son’s mandrakes also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son’s mandrakes.

Leah said to her, “Is it a small matter that you have taken away my husband? Would you take away my son’s mandrakes, also?” Rachel said, “Therefore he will lie with you tonight for your son’s mandrakes.”

Als Jakob nun am Abend vom Felde heimkam, ging Lea hinaus ihm entgegen und sagte: »Zu mir mußt du eingehen; denn ich habe dich um vollen Preis mit den Liebesäpfeln meines Sohnes erkauft!« So verbrachte er denn jene Nacht bei ihr;

Y cuando Jacob volvía del campo á la tarde, salió Lea á él, y le dijo: A mí has de entrar, porque á la verdad te he alquilado por las mandrágoras de mi hijo. Y durmió con ella aquella noche.

And Jacob came out of the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, Thou must come in unto me; for surely I have hired thee with my son’s mandrakes. And he lay with her that night.

Jacob came from the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, “You must come in to me; for I have surely hired you with my son’s mandrakes.” He lay with her that night.

und Gott erhörte die Bitte der Lea, so daß sie guter Hoffnung wurde und dem Jakob einen fünften Sohn gebar.

Y oyó Dios á Lea: y concibió, y parió á Jacob el quinto hijo.

And God hearkened unto Leah, and she conceived, and bare Jacob the fifth son.

God listened to Leah, and she conceived, and bore Jacob a fifth son.

Da sagte Lea: »Gott hat mir meinen Lohn dafür gegeben, daß ich meine Leibmagd meinem Manne überlassen habe«; darum gab sie ihm den Namen Issaschar.

Y dijo Lea: Dios me ha dado mi recompensa, por cuanto dí mi sierva á mi marido: por eso llamó su nombre Issachâr.

And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband: and she called his name Issachar.

Leah said, “God has given me my hire, because I gave my servant to my husband.” She named him Issachar.

Hierauf wurde Lea noch einmal guter Hoffnung und gebar dem Jakob einen sechsten Sohn.

Y concibió Lea otra vez, y parió el sexto hijo á Jacob.

And Leah conceived again, and bare Jacob the sixth son.

Leah conceived again, and bore a sixth son to Jacob.

Da sagte Lea: »Gott hat mich mit einem schönen Geschenk bedacht: nun endlich wird mein Mann bei mir wohnen; denn ich habe ihm sechs Söhne geboren!« Darum nannte sie ihn Sebulon.

Y dijo Lea: Dios me ha dado una buena dote: ahora morará conmigo mi marido, porque le he parido seis hijos: y llamó su nombre Zabulón.

And Leah said, God hath endued me with a good dowry; now will my husband dwell with me, because I have born him six sons: and she called his name Zebulun.

Leah said, “God has endowed me with a good dowry. Now my husband will live with me, because I have borne him six sons.” She named him Zebulun.

Später gebar sie noch eine Tochter, die sie Dina nannte.

Y después parió una hija, y llamó su nombre Dina.

And afterwards she bare a daughter, and called her name Dinah.

Afterwards, she bore a daughter, and named her Dinah.

Nun dachte Gott auch an Rahel: Gott erhörte sie und vergönnte ihr Mutterfreuden;

Y acordóse Dios de Rachêl, y oyóla Dios, y abrió su matriz.

And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.

God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her, and opened her womb.

sie wurde guter Hoffnung und gebar einen Sohn. Da sagte sie: »Gott hat meine Schmach hinweggenommen!«

Y concibió, y parió un hijo: y dijo: Quitado ha Dios mi afrenta:

And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach:

She conceived, bore a son, and said, “God has taken away my reproach.”

Darum gab sie ihm den Namen Joseph, indem sie sagte: »Der HERR möge mir noch einen Sohn hinzufügen!«

Y llamó su nombre José, diciendo: Añádame Jehová otro hijo.

And she called his name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me another son.

She named him Joseph, saying, “May the LORD add another son to me.”

Als nun Rahel den Joseph geboren hatte, sagte Jakob zu Laban: »Laß mich ziehen! Ich möchte in meine Heimat und in mein Vaterland zurückkehren.

Y aconteció, cuando Rachêl hubo parido á José, que Jacob dijo á Labán: Envíame, é iré á mi lugar, y á mi tierra.

And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country.

When Rachel had borne Joseph, Jacob said to Laban, “Send me away, that I may go to my own place, and to my country.

Gib mir meine Frauen und meine Kinder, um die ich dir gedient habe, damit ich hinziehen kann; du weißt ja selbst, welche Dienste ich dir geleistet habe.«

Dame mis mujeres y mis hijos, por las cuales he servido contigo, y déjame ir; pues tú sabes los servicios que te he hecho.

Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee.

Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you, and let me go; for you know my service with which I have served you.”

Da antwortete ihm Laban: »Erweise mir doch eine Liebe! Es ist mir klargeworden, daß der HERR mich um deinetwillen gesegnet hat.«

Y Labán le respondió: Halle yo ahora gracia en tus ojos, y quédate; experimentado he que Jehová me ha bendecido por tu causa.

And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.

Laban said to him, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, stay here, for I have divined that the LORD has blessed me for your sake.”

Dann fuhr er fort: »Bestimme nur den Lohn, den du von mir verlangst, so will ich ihn dir geben.«

Y dijo: Señálame tu salario, que yo lo daré.

And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I will give it.

He said, “Appoint me your wages, and I will give it.”

Da antwortete er ihm: »Du weißt selbst, wie ich dir gedient habe und was aus deinem Viehbesitz unter meiner Hut geworden ist.

Y él respondió: Tú sabes cómo te he servido, y cómo ha estado tu ganado conmigo;

And he said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me.

Jacob said to him, “You know how I have served you, and how your livestock have fared with me.

Du besaßest ja vor meiner Ankunft nur wenig; aber nun hat er sich gewaltig vermehrt, und der HERR hat dich bei allem, was ich unternommen habe, gesegnet. Nun aber – wann soll auch ich für meine Familie sorgen?«

Porque poco tenías antes de mi venida, y ha crecido en gran número; y Jehová te ha bendecido con mi llegada: y ahora ¿cuándo tengo de hacer yo también por mi propia casa?

For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the LORD hath blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?

For it was little which you had before I came, and it has increased to a multitude. The LORD has blessed you wherever I turned. Now when will I provide for my own house also?”

Da fragte jener: »Was soll ich dir geben?« Jakob antwortete: »Du brauchst mir gar nichts zu geben! Wenn du nur auf folgenden Vorschlag von mir eingehst, so will ich dein Kleinvieh von neuem weiden und hüten:

Y él dijo: ¿Qué te daré? Y respondió Jacob: No me des nada: si hicieres por mí esto, volveré á apacentar tus ovejas.

And he said, What shall I give thee? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock:

Laban said, “What shall I give you?” Jacob said, “You shall not give me anything. If you will do this thing for me, I will again feed your flock and keep it.

ich will heute durch dein sämtliches Kleinvieh hindurchgehen, indem ich daraus alle gesprenkelten und gefleckten Tiere und überdies jedes dunkelfarbige Stück unter den Schaflämmern und alle gefleckten und gesprenkelten Ziegen absondere; und nur solche Tiere sollen mein Lohn sein.

Yo pasaré hoy por todas tus ovejas, poniendo aparte todas las reses manchadas y de color vario, y todas las reses de color oscuro entre las ovejas, y las manchadas y de color vario entre las cabras; y esto será mi salario.

I will pass through all thy flock to day, removing from thence all the speckled and spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats: and of such shall be my hire.

I will pass through all your flock today, removing from there every speckled and spotted one, and every black one among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats. This will be my hire.

Und darin soll an irgendeinem künftigen Tage meine Ehrlichkeit sich klar erweisen: Wenn du kommst, um dir meinen Lohn anzusehen, so soll jedes Stück, das unter den Ziegen nicht gesprenkelt oder gefleckt und unter den Schafen nicht dunkelfarbig ist, als von mir gestohlen gelten.«

Así responderá por mí mi justicia mañana, cuando me viniere mi salario delante de ti: toda la que no fuere pintada ni manchada en las cabras y de color oscuro en las ovejas mías, se me ha de tener por de hurto.

So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my hire before thy face: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me.

So my righteousness will answer for me hereafter, when you come concerning my hire that is before you. Every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and black among the sheep, that might be with me, will be considered stolen.”

Da sagte Laban: »Gut! Dein Vorschlag soll gelten!«

Y dijo Labán: Mira, ojalá fuese como tú dices.

And Laban said, Behold, I would it might be according to thy word.

Laban said, “Behold, let it be according to your word.”

Er sonderte dann noch an demselben Tage die gestreiften und gefleckten Ziegenböcke und alle gesprenkelten und gefleckten Ziegen ab, jedes Stück, woran nur etwas Weißes war, und alles, was unter den Schafen dunkelfarbig war, und übergab diese Tiere der Hut seiner Söhne.

Y apartó aquel día los machos de cabrío rayados y manchados; y todas las cabras manchadas y de color vario, y toda res que tenía en sí algo de blanco, y todas las de color oscuro entre las ovejas, y púsolas en manos de sus hijos;

And he removed that day the he goats that were ringstraked and spotted, and all the she goats that were speckled and spotted, and every one that had some white in it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons.

That day, he removed the male goats that were streaked and spotted, and all the female goats that were speckled and spotted, every one that had white in it, and all the black ones among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons.

Sodann setzte er einen Zwischenraum von drei Tagereisen zwischen sich und Jakob fest; Jakob aber blieb als Hirt bei dem übrigen Kleinvieh Labans.

Y puso tres días de camino entre sí y Jacob: y Jacob apacentaba las otras ovejas de Labán.

And he set three days’ journey betwixt himself and Jacob: and Jacob fed the rest of Laban’s flocks.

He set three days’ journey between himself and Jacob, and Jacob fed the rest of Laban’s flocks.

Nun holte sich Jakob frische Stäbe von Weißpappeln sowie von Mandelbäumen und Platanen und schälte an ihnen weiße Streifen heraus, indem er das Weiße an den Stäben bloßlegte;

Y tomóse Jacob varas de álamo verdes, y de avellano, y de castaño, y descortezó en ellas mondaduras blancas, descubriendo así lo blanco de las varas.

And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.

Jacob took to himself rods of fresh poplar, almond, and plane tree, peeled white streaks in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.

dann stellte er die Stäbe, die er geschält hatte, in die Wassertröge, in die Wassertränkrinnen, zu denen das Kleinvieh zum Trinken zu kommen pflegte, gerade vor die Tiere hin. Wenn dann die Tiere, die zur Tränke kamen, brünstig wurden

Y puso las varas que había mondado en las pilas, delante del ganado, en los abrevaderos del agua donde venían á beber las ovejas, las cuales se recalentaban viniendo á beber.

And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink.

und sich vor den Stäben begatteten, so brachten sie gestreifte, gesprenkelte und gefleckte Junge zur Welt.

Y concebían las ovejas delante de las varas, y parían borregos listados, pintados y salpicados de diversos colores.

And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.

Jakob sonderte dann die Lämmer ab und richtete die Blicke der Tiere auf das Gestreifte und alles Dunkelfarbige unter dem Kleinvieh Labans und legte (so) für sich besondere Herden an, die er nicht zu dem Kleinvieh Labans tat.

Y apartaba Jacob los corderos, y poníalos con su rebaño, los listados, y todo lo que era oscuro en el hato de Labán. Y ponía su hato aparte, y no lo ponía con las ovejas de Labán.

And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the ringstraked, and all the brown in the flock of Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto Laban’s cattle.

Jacob separated the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the streaked and all the black in Laban’s flock. He put his own droves apart, and didn’t put them into Laban’s flock.

Und sooft fortan das kräftige Kleinvieh brünstig wurde, stellte Jakob die Stäbe den Tieren vor die Augen in die Wassertröge, damit sie sich vor den Stäben begatteten;

Y sucedía que cuantas veces se recalentaban las tempranas, Jacob ponía las varas delante de las ovejas en las pilas, para que concibiesen á la vista de las varas.

And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods.

Whenever the stronger of the flock conceived, Jacob laid the rods in front of the eyes of the flock in the watering troughs, that they might conceive among the rods;

wenn dagegen die Tiere schwächlich waren, stellte er sie nicht hin; so kam es, daß die schwächlichen Tiere dem Laban, die kräftigen aber dem Jakob zuteil wurden.

Y cuando venían las ovejas tardías, no las ponía: así eran las tardías para Labán, y las tempranas para Jacob.

But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s.

but when the flock were feeble, he didn’t put them in. So the feebler were Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s.

So wurde er ein außerordentlich reicher Mann, und er erwarb sich große Herden, auch Mägde und Knechte, Kamele und Esel.

Y acreció el varón muy mucho, y tuvo muchas ovejas, y siervas y siervos, y camellos y asnos.

And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.

The man increased exceedingly, and had large flocks, female servants and male servants, and camels and donkeys.
