Además, cada vez que los animales más fuertes y robustos estaban en celo, Jacob ponía las ramas en los bebederos, frente a los animales, para que se aparearan cerca de ellas.

Y sucedía que cuantas veces se recalentaban las tempranas, Jacob ponía las varas delante de las ovejas en las pilas, para que concibiesen á la vista de las varas.

And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods.

Whenever the stronger of the flock conceived, Jacob laid the rods in front of the eyes of the flock in the watering troughs, that they might conceive among the rods;
