Quando amanheceu, Jacó viu que havia dormido com Lia (e não com Raquel). Por isso Jacó disse a Labão: “Por que o senhor fez isso comigo? Eu não trabalhei por amor a Raquel? Por que você me enganou?”

Y venida la mañana, he aquí que era Lea: y él dijo á Labán: ¿Qué es esto que me has hecho? ¿no te he servido por Rachêl? ¿por qué, pues, me has engañado?

And it came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban, What is this thou hast done unto me? did not I serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast thou beguiled me?

In the morning, behold, it was Leah! He said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? Didn’t I serve with you for Rachel? Why then have you deceived me?”
