Génesis 27

Und es geschah als Isaak alt geworden, und seine Augen getrübt wurden zum Sehen, daß er seinen größeren Sohn Esau rief und zu ihm sprach: Mein Sohn! Und er sprach: Siehe, hier bin ich!

Y ACONTECIÓ que cuando hubo Isaac envejecido, y sus ojos se ofuscaron quedando sin vista, llamó á Esaú, su hijo el mayor, y díjole: Mi hijo. Y él respondió: Heme aquí.

And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I.

When Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his elder son, and said to him, “My son?” He said to him, “Here I am.”

Und er sprach: Siehe doch, ich bin alt geworden, ich weiß nicht den Tag meines Todes.

And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:

Und nun nimm doch dein Geräte, deinen Köcher und deinen Bogen, und geh hinaus auf das Feld und jage mir ein Wildbret,

Toma, pues, ahora tus armas, tu aljaba y tu arco, y sal al campo, y cógeme caza;

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;

Now therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field, and get me venison.

Und mache mir ein schmackhaftes Gericht, wie ich es liebe, und bringe mir es herein, daß ich esse, auf daß dich meine Seele segne bevor ich sterbe.

Y hazme un guisado, como yo gusto, y tráemelo, y comeré; para que te bendiga mi alma antes que muera.

And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.

Make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat, and that my soul may bless you before I die.”

Und Rebekah hörte, wie Isaak zu Esau, seinem Sohne, redete, und wie Esau auf das Feld ging, daß er ein Wildbret jage und es hereinbrächte.

Y Rebeca estaba oyendo, cuando hablaba Isaac á Esaú su hijo: y fuése Esaú al campo para coger la caza que había de traer.

And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it.

Und Rebekah sagte zu ihrem Sohne Jakob und sprach: Siehe, ich hörte deinen Vater zu deinem Bruder Esau reden und sagen:

Entonces Rebeca habló á Jacob su hijo, diciendo: He aquí yo he oído á tu padre que hablaba con Esaú tu hermano, diciendo:

And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying,

Rebekah spoke to Jacob her son, saying, “Behold, I heard your father speak to Esau your brother, saying,

Bring mir ein Wildbret herein und mache mir ein schmackhaftes Gericht, daß ich esse, und dich segne vor Jehovah, bevor ich sterbe.

Tráeme caza, y hazme un guisado, para que coma, y te bendiga delante de Jehová antes que yo muera.

Bring me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee before the LORD before my death.

‘Bring me venison, and make me savory food, that I may eat, and bless you before the LORD before my death.’

Und nun, mein Sohn, höre auf meine Stimme, was ich dir gebiete.

Ahora pues, hijo mío, obedece á mi voz en lo que te mando;

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee.

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command you.

Geh doch zum Kleinvieh und hole mir von dort zwei gute Böcklein von den Ziegen, daß ich davon deinem Vater ein schmackhaftes Gericht mache, wie er es liebt.

Ve ahora al ganado, y tráeme de allí dos buenos cabritos de las cabras, y haré de ellos viandas para tu padre, como él gusta;

Go now to the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savoury meat for thy father, such as he loveth:

Go now to the flock and get me two good young goats from there. I will make them savory food for your father, such as he loves.

Und du bringst es deinem Vater hinein, daß er esse, auf daß er dich segne, bevor er stirbt.

Y tú las llevarás á tu padre, y comerá, para que te bendiga antes de su muerte.

And thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, and that he may bless thee before his death.

You shall bring it to your father, that he may eat, so that he may bless you before his death.”

Und Jakob sprach zu Rebekah, seiner Mutter: Siehe, Esau, mein Bruder, ist ein behaarter Mann und ich bin ein glatter Mann.

Y Jacob dijo á Rebeca su madre: He aquí, Esaú mi hermano es hombre velloso, y yo lampiño:

And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man:

Vielleicht betastet mich mein Vater und ich wäre in seinen Augen als Einer, der irreführt, und bringe Fluch herein über mich und nicht Segen.

Quizá me tentará mi padre, y me tendrá por burlador, y traeré sobre mí maldición y no bendición.

My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.

What if my father touches me? I will seem to him as a deceiver, and I would bring a curse on myself, and not a blessing.”

Und seine Mutter sprach zu ihm: Auf mir sei dein Fluch, mein Sohn. Nur höre auf meine Stimme, und geh und hole mir.

Y su madre respondió: Hijo mío, sobre mí tu maldición: solamente obedece á mi voz, y ve y tráemelos.

And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son: only obey my voice, and go fetch me them.

His mother said to him, “Let your curse be on me, my son. Only obey my voice, and go get them for me.”

Und er ging und holte, und brachte sie seiner Mutter, und seine Mutter machte ein schmackhaftes Gericht, wie es sein Vater liebte.

Entonces él fué, y tomó, y trájolos á su madre: y su madre hizo guisados, como su padre gustaba.

And he went, and fetched, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made savoury meat, such as his father loved.

He went, and got them, and brought them to his mother. His mother made savory food, such as his father loved.

Und Rebekah nahm die köstlichen Kleider ihres größeren Sohnes Esau, die bei ihr im Hause waren, und ließ sie ihren kleineren Sohn Jakob anziehen.

Y tomó Rebeca los vestidos de Esaú su hijo mayor, los preciosos, que ella tenía en casa, y vistió á Jacob su hijo menor:

And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:

Rebekah took the good clothes of Esau, her elder son, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob, her younger son.

Und sie tat ihm die Felle der Ziegenböcklein auf seine Hände und auf die Glätte seines Halses.

E hízole vestir sobre sus manos, y sobre la cerviz donde no tenía vello, las pieles de los cabritos de las cabras;

And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:

She put the skins of the young goats on his hands, and on the smooth of his neck.

Und gab das schmackhafte Gericht und das Brot, das sie gemacht, in die Hand ihres Sohnes Jakob.

Y entregó los guisados y el pan que había aderezado, en mano de Jacob su hijo.

And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.

Und er ging hinein zu seinem Vater und sprach: Mein Vater! Und er sprach: Siehe, hier bin ich. Wer bist du, mein Sohn?

Y él fué á su padre, y dijo: Padre mío: y él respondió: Heme aquí, ¿quién eres, hijo mío?

And he came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son?

He came to his father, and said, “My father?” He said, “Here I am. Who are you, my son?”

Und Jakob sprach zu seinem Vater: Ich bin Esau, dein Erstgeborener, ich habe getan, wie du zu mir geredet hast. Mache dich doch auf, sitze und iß von meinem Wildbret, auf daß mich segne deine Seele.

Y Jacob dijo á su padre: Yo soy Esaú tu primogénito; he hecho como me dijiste: levántate ahora, y siéntate, y come de mi caza, para que me bendiga tu alma.

And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy firstborn; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.

Jacob said to his father, “I am Esau your firstborn. I have done what you asked me to do. Please arise, sit and eat of my venison, that your soul may bless me.”

Und Isaak sprach zu seinem Sohne: Wie hast du so eilends gefunden, mein Sohn? Und er sprach: Jehovah, dein Gott, ließ es meinem Angesichte entgegenkommen.

Entonces Isaac dijo á su hijo: ¿Cómo es que la hallaste tan presto, hijo mío? Y él respondió: Porque Jehová tu Dios hizo que se encontrase delante de mí.

And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it to me.

Isaac said to his son, “How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?” He said, “Because the LORD your God gave me success.”

Und Isaak sprach zu Jakob: Tritt doch herzu, daß ich dich betaste, mein Sohn, ob du da mein Sohn Esau bist oder nicht.

E Isaac dijo á Jacob: Acércate ahora, y te palparé, hijo mío, por si eres mi hijo Esaú, ó no.

And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.

Isaac said to Jacob, “Please come near, that I may feel you, my son, whether you are really my son Esau or not.”

Und Jakob trat hinzu zu seinem Vater Isaak, und er betastete ihn und sprach: Die Stimme ist Jakobs Stimme, und die Hände sind Esaus Hände.

Y llegóse Jacob á su padre Isaac; y él le palpó, y dijo: La voz es la voz de Jacob, mas las manos, las manos de Esaú.

And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.

Jacob went near to Isaac his father. He felt him, and said, “The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.”

Und er erkannte ihn nicht; denn seine Hände waren wie die Hände Esaus, seines Bruders, haarig, und er segnete ihn.

Y no le conoció, porque sus manos eran vellosas como las manos de Esaú: y le bendijo.

And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau’s hands: so he blessed him.

He didn’t recognize him, because his hands were hairy, like his brother Esau’s hands. So he blessed him.

Und er sprach, bist du da mein Sohn Esau? Und er sprach: Ich bin es.

Y dijo: ¿Eres tú mi hijo Esaú? Y él respondió: Yo soy.

And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.

He said, “Are you really my son Esau?” He said, “I am.”

Und er sprach: Reiche mir her, daß ich esse von dem Wildbret meines Sohnes, auf daß meine Seele dich segne. Und er reichte es ihm her und er aß, und er brachte ihm Wein herein und er trank.

Y dijo: Acércamela, y comeré de la caza de mi hijo, para que te bendiga mi alma; y él se la acercó, y comió: trájole también vino, y bebió.

And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son’s venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine, and he drank.

He said, “Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son’s venison, that my soul may bless you.” He brought it near to him, and he ate. He brought him wine, and he drank.

Und Isaak, sein Vater, sprach zu ihm: Tritt doch herzu und küsse mich, mein Sohn.

Y díjole Isaac su padre: Acércate ahora, y bésame, hijo mío.

And his father Isaac said unto him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son.

His father Isaac said to him, “Come near now, and kiss me, my son.”

Und er trat hinzu und küßte ihn. Und er roch den Geruch seiner Kleider, und segnete ihn und sprach: Siehe, der Geruch meines Sohnes ist wie der Geruch des Feldes, das Jehovah gesegnet hat.

Y él se llegó, y le besó; y olió Isaac el olor de sus vestidos, y le bendijo, y dijo: Mira, el olor de mi hijo como el olor del campo que Jehová ha bendecido:

And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed:

He came near, and kissed him. He smelled the smell of his clothing, and blessed him, and said, “Behold, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD has blessed.

Und Gott gebe dir von dem Tau des Himmels und von dem Fett der Erde und viel Korn und Most.

Dios, pues, te dé del rocío del cielo, y de las grosuras de la tierra, y abundancia de trigo y de mosto.

Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:

God give you of the dew of the sky, of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and new wine.

Völker sollen dir dienen und Volksstämme sich vor dir verbeugen. Sei ein Gebieter über deine Brüder, und deiner Mutter Söhne sollen sich vor dir verbeugen. Verflucht sei, wer dich verflucht! Und gesegnet sei, wer dich segnet!

Sírvante pueblos, y naciones se inclinen á ti: sé señor de tus hermanos, e inclínense á ti los hijos de tu madre: malditos los que te maldijeren, y benditos los que te bendijeren.

Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.

Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers. Let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you. Blessed be everyone who blesses you.”

Und es geschah, als Isaak Jakobs Segen vollendet und Jakob kaum von dem Angesichte seines Vaters Isaak hinausgegangen war, daß Esau, sein Bruder, kam von seiner Jagd.

Y aconteció, luego que hubo Isaac acabado de bendecir á Jacob, y apenas había salido Jacob de delante de Isaac su padre, que Esaú su hermano vino de su caza.

And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

As soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, and Jacob had just gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

Und auch er machte ein schmackhaftes Gericht, und brachte es seinem Vater herein und sprach zu seinem Vater: Mein Vater mache sich auf und esse von dem Wildbret seines Sohnes, auf daß deine Seele mich segne.

E hizo él también guisados, y trajo á su padre, y díjole: Levántese mi padre, y coma de la caza de su hijo, para que me bendiga tu alma.

And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son’s venison, that thy soul may bless me.

He also made savory food, and brought it to his father. He said to his father, “Let my father arise, and eat of his son’s venison, that your soul may bless me.”

Und sein Vater Isaak sprach zu ihm: Wer bist du? Und er sprach: Ich bin dein Sohn, dein Erstgeborener, Esau.

Entonces Isaac su padre le dijo: ¿Quién eres tú? Y él dijo: Yo soy tu hijo, tu primogénito, Esaú.

And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau.

Isaac his father said to him, “Who are you?” He said, “I am your son, your firstborn, Esau.”

Und Isaak zitterte mir sehr großem Zittern und sprach: Wer war dann der, so das Wildbret jagte und mir hereinbrachte? Und ich aß von allem ehe du kamst und segnete ihn. Gesegnet soll er auch sein.

Y estremecióse Isaac con grande estremecimiento, y dijo: ¿Quién es el que vino aquí, que cogió caza, y me trajo, y comí de todo antes que vinieses? Yo le bendije, y será bendito.

And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed.

Isaac trembled violently, and said, “Who, then, is he who has taken venison, and brought it to me, and I have eaten of all before you came, and have blessed him? Yes, he will be blessed.”

Wie Esau die Worte seines Vaters hörte, tat er einen großen, sehr bitteren Schrei, und sprach zu seinem Vater: Segne mich, auch mich, mein Vater.

Como Esaú oyó las palabras de su padre, clamó con una muy grande y muy amarga exclamación, y le dijo: Bendíceme también á mí, padre mío.

And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.

When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with an exceedingly great and bitter cry, and said to his father, “Bless me, even me also, my father.”

Und er sprach: Dein Bruder ist trüglich gekommen und hat deinen Segen genommen.

Y él dijo: Vino tu hermano con engaño, y tomó tu bendición.

And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing.

He said, “Your brother came with deceit, and has taken away your blessing.”

Und er sprach: Hat man seinen Namen nicht Jakob genannt? Und diese zweimal hat er mich überlistet. Meine Erstgeburt hat er genommen, und siehe, jetzt nimmt er meinen Segen. Und er sprach: Hast du denn keinen Segen mehr für mich vorbehalten?

Y él respondió: Bien llamaron su nombre Jacob, que ya me ha engañado dos veces; alzóse con mi primogenitura, y he aquí ahora ha tomado mi bendición. Y dijo: ¿No has guardado bendición para mí?

And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?

He said, “Isn’t he rightly named Jacob? For he has supplanted me these two times. He took away my birthright. See, now he has taken away my blessing.” He said, “Haven’t you reserved a blessing for me?”

Und Isaak antwortete und sprach zu Esau: Siehe, zum Gebieter habe ich ihn über dich gesetzt, und alle seine Brüder ihm zu Knechten gegeben, mit Korn und Most ihn gekräftigt. Und nun, was soll ich tun für dich, mein Sohn?

Isaac respondió y dijo á Esaú: He aquí yo le he puesto por señor tuyo, y le he dado por siervos á todos sus hermanos: de trigo y de vino le he provisto: ¿qué, pues, te haré á ti ahora, hijo mío?

And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?

Isaac answered Esau, “Behold, I have made him your lord, and all his brothers I have given to him for servants. I have sustained him with grain and new wine. What then will I do for you, my son?”

Und Esau sprach zu seinem Vater: Hattest du nur diesen einen Segen, mein Vater? Segne mich, auch mich, mein Vater! Und Esau hob auf seine Stimme und weinte.

Y Esaú respondió á su padre: ¿No tienes más que una sola bendición, padre mío? bendíceme también á mí, padre mío. Y alzó Esaú su voz, y lloró.

And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

Esau said to his father, “Do you have just one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, my father.” Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

Und sein Vater Isaak antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Siehe, vom Fetten des Landes wird dein Wohnsitz sein, und von dem Tau des Himmels von oben.

Entonces Isaac su padre habló y díjole: He aquí será tu habitación en grosuras de la tierra, y del rocío de los cielos de arriba;

And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;

Isaac his father answered him, “Behold, your dwelling will be of the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of the sky from above.

Und du wirst ob deinem Schwerte leben und deinem Bruder dienen. Und es wird geschehen, wenn du herrschen wirst, daß du sein Joch von deinem Halse abreißest.

Y por tu espada vivirás, y á tu hermano servirás: y sucederá cuando te enseñorees, que descargarás su yugo de tu cerviz.

And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

You will live by your sword, and you will serve your brother. It will happen, when you will break loose, that you will shake his yoke from off your neck.”

Und Esau grollte dem Jakob ob dem Segen, womit sein Vater ihn gesegnet hatte; und Esau sprach in seinem Herzen: Es nahen die Tage der Trauer für meinen Vater und ich erwürge Jakob, meinen Bruder.

Y aborreció Esaú á Jacob por la bendición con que le había bendecido, y dijo en su corazón: Llegarán los días del luto de mi padre, y yo mataré á Jacob mi hermano.

And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.

Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him. Esau said in his heart, “The days of mourning for my father are at hand. Then I will kill my brother Jacob.”

Und es wurden Rebekah die Worte Esaus, ihres größeren Sohnes angesagt, und sie sandte und rief Jakob, ihren kleineren Sohn, und sprach zu ihm: Siehe, Esau, dein Bruder, vertröstet sich wegen dir und will dich erwürgen.

Y fueron dichas á Rebeca las palabras de Esaú su hijo mayor: y ella envió y llamó á Jacob su hijo menor, y díjole: He aquí, Esaú tu hermano se consuela acerca de ti con la idea de matarte.

And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee.

The words of Esau, her elder son, were told to Rebekah. She sent and called Jacob, her younger son, and said to him, “Behold, your brother Esau comforts himself about you by planning to kill you.

Und nun, mein Sohn, höre auf meine Stimme und mache dich auf, entweiche zu meinem Bruder Laban nach Charan,

Ahora pues, hijo mío, obedece á mi voz; levántate, y húyete á Labán mi hermano, á Harán;

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice. Arise, flee to Laban, my brother, in Haran.

Und bleibe einige Tage bei ihm, bis sich der Grimm deines Bruders zurückgewendet hat;

Y mora con él algunos días, hasta que el enojo de tu hermano se mitigue;

And tarry with him a few days, until thy brother’s fury turn away;

Stay with him a few days, until your brother’s fury turns away—

Bis sich zurückgewendet hat der Zorn deines Bruders wider dich, und er vergessen hat, was du ihm getan, und ich werde senden und dich von dort holen. Warum sollte ich auch euer beider an einem Tage beraubt werden?

Hasta que se aplaque la ira de tu hermano contra ti, y se olvide de lo que le has hecho: yo enviaré entonces, y te traeré de allá: ¿por qué seré privada de vosotros ambos en un día?

Until thy brother’s anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?

until your brother’s anger turns away from you, and he forgets what you have done to him. Then I will send, and get you from there. Why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?”

Und Rebekah sprach zu Isaak: Mir ist das Leben zum Überdruß vor den Töchtern Cheths; wenn Jakob ein Weib nehmen soll von den Töchtern Cheths, wie die da von den Töchtern des Landes, was soll mir dann das Leben?

Y dijo Rebeca á Isaac: Fastidio tengo de mi vida, á causa de las hijas de Heth. Si Jacob toma mujer de las hijas de Heth, como éstas, de las hijas de esta tierra, ¿para qué quiero la vida?

And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?
