Et Isaac appela ce puits : puits du Serment ; c'est pourquoi encore de nos jours la ville qui s'y trouve s'appelle puits du Serment (Bersabée).

Y llamólo Seba: por cuya causa el nombre de aquella ciudad es Beer-seba hasta este día.

And he called it Shebah: therefore the name of the city is Beer-sheba unto this day.

He called it “Shibah”. Therefore the name of the city is “Beersheba” to this day.
