Sara war hundertsiebenundzwanzig Jahre alt

Y FUÉ la vida de Sara ciento veintisiete años: tantos fueron los años de la vida de Sara.

And Sarah was an hundred and seven and twenty years old: these were the years of the life of Sarah.

Sarah lived one hundred twenty-seven years. This was the length of Sarah’s life.

und starb in der Hauptstadt, die heifit Hebron, im Lande Kanaan. Da kam Abraham, daß er sie klagete und beweinete.

Y murió Sara en Kiriath-arba, que es Hebrón, en la tierra de Canaán: y vino Abraham á hacer el duelo á Sara, y á llorarla.

And Sarah died in Kirjath-arba; the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan: and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.

Sarah died in Kiriath Arba (also called Hebron), in the land of Canaan. Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.

Danach stund er auf von seiner Leiche und redete mit den Kindern Heths und sprach:

Y levantóse Abraham de delante de su muerto, y habló á los hijos de Heth, diciendo:

And Abraham stood up from before his dead, and spake unto the sons of Heth, saying,

Abraham rose up from before his dead and spoke to the children of Heth, saying,

Ich bin ein Fremder und Einwohner bei euch; gebet mirein Erbbegrabnis bei euch, daß ich meinen Toten begrabe, der vor mir liegt.

Peregrino y advenedizo soy entre vosotros; dadme heredad de sepultura con vosotros, y sepultaré mi muerto de delante de mí.

I am a stranger and a sojourner with you: give me a possession of a buryingplace with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.

“I am a stranger and a foreigner living with you. Give me a possession of a burying-place with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.”

Da antworteten Abraham die Kinder Heths und sprachen zu ihm:

Y respondieron los hijos de Heth á Abraham, y dijéronle:

And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him,

The children of Heth answered Abraham, saying to him,

Hdre uns, lieber Herr! Du bist ein Furst Gottes unter uns; begrabe deinen Toten in unsern ehrlichsten Grabern; kein Mensch soli dir unter uns wehren, daß du in seinem Grabe nicht begrabest deinen Toten.

Oyenos, señor mío, eres un príncipe de Dios entre nosotros; en lo mejor de nuestras sepulturas sepulta á tu muerto; ninguno de nosotros te impedirá su sepultura, para que entierres tu muerto.

Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.

“Hear us, my lord. You are a prince of God among us. Bury your dead in the best of our tombs. None of us will withhold from you his tomb. Bury your dead.”

Da stund Abraham auf und bückte sich vor dem Volk des Landes, namlich vor den Kindern Heths.

Y Abraham se levantó, é inclinóse al pueblo de aquella tierra, á los hijos de Heth;

And Abraham stood up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, even to the children of Heth.

Und er redete mit ihnen und sprach: Gefallt es euch, daß ich meinen Toten, der vor mir liegt, begrabe, so horet mich und bittet fur mich gegen Ephron, dem Sohn Zoars,

Y habló con ellos, diciendo: Si tenéis voluntad que yo sepulte mi muerto de delante de mí, oidme, é interceded por mí con Ephrón, hijo de Zohar,

And he communed with them, saying, If it be your mind that I should bury my dead out of my sight; hear me, and intreat for me to Ephron the son of Zohar,

He talked with them, saying, “If you agree that I should bury my dead out of my sight, hear me, and entreat for me to Ephron the son of Zohar,

daß er mir gebe seine zwiefache Hohle, die er hat am Ende seines Ackers; er gebe mir sie urn Geld, soviel sie wert ist, unter euch zum Erbbegrabnis.

Para que me dé la cueva de Macpela, que tiene al cabo de su heredad: que por su justo precio me la dé, para posesión de sepultura en medio de vosotros.

That he may give me the cave of Machpelah, which he hath, which is in the end of his field; for as much money as it is worth he shall give it me for a possession of a buryingplace amongst you.

that he may sell me the cave of Machpelah, which he has, which is in the end of his field. For the full price let him sell it to me among you as a possession for a burial place.”

Denn Ephron wohnete unter den Kindern Heths. Da antwortete Ephron, der Hethiter, Abraham, daß zuhoreten die Kinder Heths, vor alien, die zu seiner Stadt Tor aus und ein gingen, und sprach:

Este Ephrón hallábase entre los hijos de Heth: y respondió Ephrón Hetheo á Abraham, en oídos de los hijos de Heth, de todos los que entraban por la puerta de su ciudad, diciendo:

And Ephron dwelt among the children of Heth: and Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the audience of the children of Heth, even of all that went in at the gate of his city, saying,

Now Ephron was sitting in the middle of the children of Heth. Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the hearing of the children of Heth, even of all who went in at the gate of his city, saying,

Nein, mein Herr, sondern hore mir zu. Ich schenke dir den Acker, und die Hohle drinnen dazu, und ubergebe dir's vor den Augen der Kinder meines Volks, zu begraben deinen Toten.

No, señor mío, óyeme: te doy la heredad, y te doy también la cueva que está en ella; delante de los hijos de mi pueblo te la doy; sepulta tu muerto.

Nay, my lord, hear me: the field give I thee, and the cave that is therein, I give it thee; in the presence of the sons of my people give I it thee: bury thy dead.

“No, my lord, hear me. I give you the field, and I give you the cave that is in it. In the presence of the children of my people I give it to you. Bury your dead.”

Da bückte sich Abraham vor dem Volk des Landes

Y Abraham se inclinó delante del pueblo de la tierra.

And Abraham bowed down himself before the people of the land.

und redete mit Ephron, daß zuhorete das Volk des Landes, und sprach: Willst du mir ihn lassen, so bitte ich, nimm von mir das Geld fur den Acker, das ich dir gebe, so will ich meinen Toten daselbst begraben.

Y respondió á Ephrón en oídos del pueblo de la tierra, diciendo: Antes, si te place, ruégote que me oigas; yo daré el precio de la heredad, tómalo de mí, y sepultaré en ella mi muerto.

And he spake unto Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, But if thou wilt give it, I pray thee, hear me: I will give thee money for the field; take it of me, and I will bury my dead there.

He spoke to Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, “But if you will, please hear me. I will give the price of the field. Take it from me, and I will bury my dead there.”

Ephron antwortete Abraham und sprach zu ihm:

Y respondió Ephrón á Abraham, diciéndole:

And Ephron answered Abraham, saying unto him,

Ephron answered Abraham, saying to him,

Mein Herr, hore doch mich! Das Feld ist vierhundert Sekel Silbers wert; was ist das aber zwischen mir und dir? Begrabe nur deinen Toten.

Señor mío, escúchame: la tierra vale cuatrocientos siclos de plata: ¿qué es esto entre mí y ti? entierra pues tu muerto.

My lord, hearken unto me: the land is worth four hundred shekels of silver; what is that betwixt me and thee? bury therefore thy dead.

“My lord, listen to me. What is a piece of land worth four hundred shekels of silver between me and you? Therefore bury your dead.”

Abraham gehorchte Ephron und wog ihm das Geld dar, das ergesagt hatte, daß zuhoreten die Kinder Heths namlich vierhundert Sekel Silbers, das im Kauf gang und gabe war.

Entonces Abraham se convino con Ephrón, y pesó Abraham á Ephrón el dinero que dijo, oyéndolo los hijos de Heth, cuatrocientos siclos de plata, de buena ley entre mercaderes.

And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.

Abraham listened to Ephron. Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver which he had named in the hearing of the children of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, according to the current merchants’ standard.

Also ward Ephrons Acker, darin die zwiefache Hohle ist, gegen Mamre uber, Abraham zum eigenen Gut bestatiget, mit der Hohle darinnen und mit alien Baumen auf dem Acker umher,

Y quedó la heredad de Ephrón que estaba en Macpela enfrente de Mamre, la heredad y la cueva que estaba en ella, y todos los árboles que había en la heredad, y en todo su término al derredor,

And the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all the borders round about, were made sure

So the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, the cave which was in it, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all of its borders, were deeded

daß die Kinder Heths zusahen und alle, die zu seiner Stadt Tor aus und ein gingen.

Por de Abraham en posesión, á vista de los hijos de Heth, y de todos los que entraban por la puerta de la ciudad.

Unto Abraham for a possession in the presence of the children of Heth, before all that went in at the gate of his city.

Danach begrub Abraham Sara, sein Weib, in der Hohle des Ackers, die zwiefach ist, gegen Mamre uber, das ist, Hebron, im Lande Kanaan.

Y después de esto sepultó Abraham á Sara su mujer en la cueva de la heredad de Macpela enfrente de Mamre, que es Hebrón en la tierra de Canaán.

And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre: the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan.

After this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre (that is, Hebron), in the land of Canaan.

Also ward bestatiget der Acker und die Hohle darinnen Abraham zum Erbbegrabnis von den Kindern Heths.

Y quedó la heredad y la cueva que en ella había, por de Abraham, en posesión de sepultura adquirida de los hijos de Heth.

And the field, and the cave that is therein, were made sure unto Abraham for a possession of a buryingplace by the sons of Heth.

The field, and the cave that is in it, were deeded to Abraham by the children of Heth as a possession for a burial place.
