Da suchte JHWH Sara auf, wie er gesagt hatte. Und JHWH tat für (an) Sara, wie er geredet hatte.

Y VISITÓ Jehová á Sara, como había dicho, é hizo Jehová con Sara como había hablado.

Da wurde sie schwanger. Und Sara gebar dem Abraham einen Sohn in seinem Greisenalter, zu der Zeit, die ihm Gott genannt hatte.

Y concibió y parió Sara á Abraham un hijo en su vejez, en el tiempo que Dios le había dicho.

For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

Und Abraham (nannte =) gab seinem Sohn, der ihm geboren wurde, den Sara ihm gebar, den Namen Isaak.

And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

Und Abraham beschnitt seinen Sohn Isaak, als er acht Tage alt war, wie ihm Gott geboten hatte.

Da sprach Sara: Gott hat mich zum Narren (Spott, Gelächter) gemacht; jeder, der †davon hört, wird über mich lachen.

Entonces dijo Sara: Dios me ha hecho reir, y cualquiera que lo oyere, se reirá conmigo.

And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

Sarah said, “God has made me laugh. Everyone who hears will laugh with me.”

Und sie sprach: Wer †hätte zu Abraham gesagt, Sara stillt Kinder (Söhne)? Und doch habe ich †ihm in seinem Greisenalter einen Sohn geboren.

Y añadió: ¿Quién dijera á Abraham que Sara había de dar de mamar á hijos? pues que le he parido un hijo á su vejez.

And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

She said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”

Das Kind wuchs heran und wurde entwöhnt. Da (machte =) veranstaltete Abraham ein großes Gastmahl am Tag, als Isaak entwöhnt wurde.

Y creció el niño, y fué destetado; é hizo Abraham gran banquete el día que fué destetado Isaac.

And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.

Da sah Sara, dass der Sohn Hagars, der Ägypterin, den sie Abraham geboren hatte, gemein war (Blödsinn machte).

Y vió Sara al hijo de Agar la Egipcia, el cual había ésta parido á Abraham, que se burlaba.

And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.

Da sprach sie zu Abraham: Vertreibe diese Sklavin (Magd) und ihren Sohn. Denn nicht erben soll der Sohn dieser Sklavin (Magd) mit meinem Sohn, mit Isaak.

Por tanto dijo á Abraham: Echa á esta sierva y á su hijo; que el hijo de esta sierva no ha de heredar con mi hijo, con Isaac.

Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this servant and her son! For the son of this servant will not be heir with my son, Isaac.”

Doch Abraham missfiel die Rede sehr {in seinen Augen} wegen seines Sohnes.

Este dicho pareció grave en gran manera á Abraham á causa de su hijo.

And the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight because of his son.

Da sprach Gott zu Abraham: {in deinen Augen =} dir soll nicht missfallen, {alles} was Sara zu dir über den Jungen (Knaben) und über deine Sklavin (Magd) gesagt hat. Höre auf ihre Worte (Stimme), denn nach Isaak soll deine Nachkommenschaft (dein Geschlecht) genannt werden.

Entonces dijo Dios á Abraham: No te parezca grave á causa del muchacho y de tu sierva; en todo lo que te dijere Sara, oye su voz, porque en Isaac te será llamada descendencia.

And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

God said to Abraham, “Don’t let it be grievous in your sight because of the boy, and because of your servant. In all that Sarah says to you, listen to her voice. For your offspring will be named through Isaac.

Aber auch den Sohn der Sklavin (Magd) will ich zu einem Volk machen, denn er ist dein Nachkomme.

Y también al hijo de la sierva pondré en gente, porque es tu simiente.

And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.

I will also make a nation of the son of the servant, because he is your child.”

Da stand Abraham früh am Morgen auf, nahm Brot und einen Schlauch Wasser und gab ihn Hagar. Er legte es auf ihre Schulter und auch das Kind †setzte er auf ihre Schulter und schickte sie fort. Da ging sie und irrte umher in der Wüste bei Beer-Scheba.

Entonces Abraham se levantó muy de mañana, y tomó pan, y un odre de agua, y diólo á Agar, poniéndolo sobre su hombro, y entrególe el muchacho, y despidióla. Y ella partió, y andaba errante por el desierto de Beer-seba.

And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-sheba.

Da ging das Wasser im Schlauch aus. Da (warf =) setzte sie das Kind ab unter einem Strauch.

Y faltó el agua del odre, y echó al muchacho debajo de un árbol;

And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.

Da ging sie und setzte sich gegenüber von ferne, einen Bogenschuss weit , denn sie sprach: Ich will den Tod des Kindes nicht sehen. Und sie setzte sich †ihm gegenüber und (erhob ihre Stimme =) fing an (und weinte =) zu weinen.

Y fuése y sentóse enfrente, alejándose como un tiro de arco; porque decía: No veré cuando el muchacho morirá: y sentóse enfrente, y alzó su voz y lloró.

And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.

She went and sat down opposite him, a good way off, about a bow shot away. For she said, “Don’t let me see the death of the child.” She sat opposite him, and lifted up her voice, and wept.

Da hörte Gott die Stimme des Knaben. Da rief der Bote Gottes vom Himmel nach Hagar und sprach zu ihr: Was ist †mit dir, Hagar? Fürchte dich nicht! Denn Gott hat auf die Stimme des Jungen (Knaben) gehört, der da †liegt.

Y oyó Dios la voz del muchacho; y el ángel de Dios llamó á Agar desde el cielo, y le dijo: ¿Qué tienes, Agar? No temas; porque Dios ha oído la voz del muchacho en donde está.

And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

God heard the voice of the boy. The angel of God called to Hagar out of the sky, and said to her, “What troubles you, Hagar? Don’t be afraid. For God has heard the voice of the boy where he is.

Steh auf, heb den Jungen (Knaben) auf und nimm ihn bei der Hand, denn ich will ihn zu einem großen Volk machen.

Levántate, alza al muchacho, y ásele de tu mano, porque en gran gente lo tengo de poner.

Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

Get up, lift up the boy, and hold him with your hand. For I will make him a great nation.”

Da öffnete Gott ihre Augen, und sie sah einen Brunnen †mit Wasser (einen Wasserbrunnen). Da ging sie hin und füllte den Schlauch mit Wasser und gab dem Jungen (Knaben) zu trinken.

Entonces abrió Dios sus ojos, y vió una fuente de agua; y fué, y llenó el odre de agua, y dió de beber al muchacho.

And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

Und Gott war mit dem Jungen (Knaben), und er wuchs heran. Und er wohnte in der Wüste und war ein Bogenschütze.

Y fué Dios con el muchacho; y creció, y habitó en el desierto, y fué tirador de arco.

And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

God was with the boy, and he grew. He lived in the wilderness, and as he grew up, he became an archer.

Und er wohnte in der Wüste Paran. Da nahm ihm seine Mutter eine Frau aus {dem Land} Ägypten.

Y habitó en el desierto de Parán; y su madre le tomó mujer de la tierra de Egipto.

And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

He lived in the wilderness of Paran. His mother got a wife for him out of the land of Egypt.

Es begab sich aber zu jener Zeit, da sprachen Abimelech und Pichol, sein Heerführer, zu Abraham {folgendermaßen}: Gott ist mit dir in allem, was du tust.

Y aconteció en aquel mismo tiempo que habló Abimelech, y Phicol, príncipe de su ejército, á Abraham diciendo: Dios es contigo en todo cuanto haces:

And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:

At that time, Abimelech and Phicol the captain of his army spoke to Abraham, saying, “God is with you in all that you do.

Darum schwöre mir bei diesem Gott, dass du mich nicht täuschen wirst, noch meine Nachkommen, noch mein Geschlecht. Wie ich dir Gnade (Gunst, Treue) (getan =) erwiesen habe, so sollst du †sie auch mir erweisen und dem Land, in dem du dich als Fremdling aufhältst.

Ahora pues, júrame aquí por Dios, que no faltarás á mí, ni á mi hijo, ni á mi nieto; sino que conforme á la bondad que yo hice contigo, harás tú conmigo, y con la tierra donde has peregrinado.

Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.

Now, therefore, swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son. But according to the kindness that I have done to you, you shall do to me, and to the land in which you have lived as a foreigner.”

Da sprach Abraham: Ich schwöre.

Y respondió Abraham: Yo juraré.

And Abraham said, I will swear.

Abraham said, “I will swear.”

Und Abraham zog Abimelech zur Rechenschaft wegen des Wasserbrunnens, den die Knechte Abimelechs mit Gewalt genommen hatten.

Y Abraham reconvino á Abimelech á causa de un pozo de agua, que los siervos de Abimelech le habían quitado.

And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.

Abraham complained to Abimelech because of a water well, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.

Da sprach Abimelech: Ich weiß nicht, wer (diese Sache =) das getan hat. Auch du hast sie mir nicht angezeigt (gemeldet), und ich habe nichts †davon gehört (außer =) bis heute.

Y respondió Abimelech: No sé quién haya hecho esto, ni tampoco tú me lo hiciste saber, ni yo lo he oído hasta hoy.

And Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing: neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.

Abimelech said, “I don’t know who has done this thing. You didn’t tell me, and I didn’t hear of it until today.”

Da nahm Abraham Kleinvieh und Rinder und gab sie Abimelech. Und die beiden schlossen einen Bund.

Y tomó Abraham ovejas y vacas, y dió á Abimelech; é hicieron ambos alianza.

And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.

Abraham took sheep and cattle, and gave them to Abimelech. Those two made a covenant.

Aber Abraham stellte sieben Lämmer vom Kleinvieh (allein =) für sich hin.

Y puso Abraham siete corderas del rebaño aparte.

And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.

Da (sagte =) fragte Abimelech Abraham: Warum †sind hier diese sieben Lämmer, die du (allein =) für sich hingestellt hast?

Y dijo Abimelech á Abraham: ¿Qué significan esas siete corderas que has puesto aparte?

And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?

Abimelech said to Abraham, “What do these seven ewe lambs, which you have set by themselves, mean?”

Und er (sprach =) antwortete: Die sieben Lämmer nimm aus meiner Hand, damit sie für mich zum (Zeichen =) Beweis (sind =) dienen, dass ich diesen Brunnen gegraben habe.

Y él respondió: Que estas siete corderas tomarás de mi mano, para que me sean en testimonio de que yo cavé este pozo.

And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.

He said, “You shall take these seven ewe lambs from my hand, that it may be a witness to me, that I have dug this well.”

Darum nennt man diesen Ort „Schwurbrunnen“ (Beerscheba), denn dort schworen die beiden.

Por esto llamó á aquel lugar Beer-seba; porque allí juraron ambos.

Wherefore he called that place Beer-sheba; because there they sware both of them.

Therefore he called that place Beersheba, because they both swore an oath there.

Und sie schlossen einen Bund am Schwurbrunnen (Beerscheba). Dann standen Abimelech und sein Heerführer Pichol auf und kehrten zurück ins Land der Philister.

Así hicieron alianza en Beer-seba: y levantóse Abimelech, y Phicol, príncipe de su ejército, y se volvieron á tierra de los Filisteos.

Thus they made a covenant at Beer-sheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

So they made a covenant at Beersheba. Abimelech rose up with Phicol, the captain of his army, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

Und er pflanzte eine Tamariske am Schwurbrunnen (Beerscheba) und rief dort den Namen JHWHs an, des ewigen Gottes.

Y plantó Abraham un bosque en Beer-seba, é invocó allí el nombre de Jehová Dios eterno.

And Abraham planted a grove in Beer-sheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.

Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the LORD, the Everlasting God.

Und Abraham lebte im Land der Philister viele Jahre als Fremdling.

Y moró Abraham en tierra de los Filisteos muchos días.

And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines’ land many days.

Abraham lived as a foreigner in the land of the Philistines many days.
