Der Herr aber hatte Sara heimgesucht, wie er verheißen. Und der Herr tat an Sara, wie er vorausgesagt hatte.

Und Sara war guter Hoffnung und gebar einen Sohn dem Abraham in seinem Greisenalter um die Zeit, die Gott vorausgesagt hatte.

Y concibió y parió Sara á Abraham un hijo en su vejez, en el tiempo que Dios le había dicho.

For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

Und Abraham nannte seinen neugeborenen Sohn, den ihm die Sara gebar, Isaak.

Und Abraham beschnitt seinen Sohn Isaak, als er acht Tage alt war, wie ihm Gott befohlen hatte.

Abraham aber war hundert Jahre alt, als ihm sein Sohn Isaak geboren ward.

Da sprach Sara: "Zum Scherze hat mich Gott gemacht. Wer davon hört, scherzt über mich."

Entonces dijo Sara: Dios me ha hecho reir, y cualquiera que lo oyere, se reirá conmigo.

And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

Sarah said, “God has made me laugh. Everyone who hears will laugh with me.”

Und sie sprach: "Wer hätte Abraham zugeflüstert: 'Sara stillt Kinder noch?' Nun habe ich ihm doch noch einen Sohn in seinem Greisenalter geboren."

Y añadió: ¿Quién dijera á Abraham que Sara había de dar de mamar á hijos? pues que le he parido un hijo á su vejez.

And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

She said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”

Und das Kind wuchs und wurde entwöhnt, und Abraham bereitete ein großes Mahl an dem Tag, an dem Isaak entwöhnt ward.

Y creció el niño, y fué destetado; é hizo Abraham gran banquete el día que fué destetado Isaac.

And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.

Sara aber sah den Sohn der Ägypterin Hagar, den sie Abraham geboren, wie er seinen Spott trieb.

Y vió Sara al hijo de Agar la Egipcia, el cual había ésta parido á Abraham, que se burlaba.

And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.

Da sprach sie zu Abraham: "Jage diese Magd und ihren Sohn fort! Denn dieser Magd Sohn soll nicht mit Isaak, meinem Sohn, erben!"

Por tanto dijo á Abraham: Echa á esta sierva y á su hijo; que el hijo de esta sierva no ha de heredar con mi hijo, con Isaac.

Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this servant and her son! For the son of this servant will not be heir with my son, Isaac.”

Dies Wort aber betrübte Abraham heftig wegen seines Sohnes.

Este dicho pareció grave en gran manera á Abraham á causa de su hijo.

And the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight because of his son.

Doch Gott sprach zu Abraham: "Nicht um den Knaben sei's dir leid und nicht um deine Magd! In allem, was dir Sara sagt, höre auf ihre Stimme! Nur wer von Isaak stammt, trägt deines Stammes Namen.

Entonces dijo Dios á Abraham: No te parezca grave á causa del muchacho y de tu sierva; en todo lo que te dijere Sara, oye su voz, porque en Isaac te será llamada descendencia.

And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

God said to Abraham, “Don’t let it be grievous in your sight because of the boy, and because of your servant. In all that Sarah says to you, listen to her voice. For your offspring will be named through Isaac.

Doch mache ich zu einem Volke auch den Sohn der Magd; auch er ist ja dein Sproß."

Y también al hijo de la sierva pondré en gente, porque es tu simiente.

And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.

I will also make a nation of the son of the servant, because he is your child.”

Da nahm Abraham am anderen Morgen früh Brot und einen Schlauch mit Wasser und gab es Hagar; das Kind legte er auf ihre Schultern und schickte sie fort. Da zog sie hin und verirrte sich in der Wüste Beerseba.

Entonces Abraham se levantó muy de mañana, y tomó pan, y un odre de agua, y diólo á Agar, poniéndolo sobre su hombro, y entrególe el muchacho, y despidióla. Y ella partió, y andaba errante por el desierto de Beer-seba.

And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-sheba.

Als das Wasser im Schlauch zu Ende ging, ließ sie das Kind unter einem der Sträucher liegen,

Y faltó el agua del odre, y echó al muchacho debajo de un árbol;

And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.

ging fort und saß für sich, einen Bogenschuß weit; denn sie sprach: "Ich kann nicht ansehen, wie das Kind stirbt." So saß sie abseits, erhob ihre Stimme und weinte.

Y fuése y sentóse enfrente, alejándose como un tiro de arco; porque decía: No veré cuando el muchacho morirá: y sentóse enfrente, y alzó su voz y lloró.

And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.

Gott aber hörte ihr Gebet um den Knaben, und Gottes Engel rief Hagar vom Himmel her und sprach zu ihr: "Was ist dir, Hagar? Fürchte dich nicht! Gott hat ja dein Gebet um den Knaben gehört, wo immer er ist.

Y oyó Dios la voz del muchacho; y el ángel de Dios llamó á Agar desde el cielo, y le dijo: ¿Qué tienes, Agar? No temas; porque Dios ha oído la voz del muchacho en donde está.

And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

God heard the voice of the boy. The angel of God called to Hagar out of the sky, and said to her, “What troubles you, Hagar? Don’t be afraid. For God has heard the voice of the boy where he is.

Auf! Nimm den Knaben! Fasse durch ihn wieder Mut! Ich will ihn ja zu einem großen Volke machen."

Levántate, alza al muchacho, y ásele de tu mano, porque en gran gente lo tengo de poner.

Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

Get up, lift up the boy, and hold him with your hand. For I will make him a great nation.”

Und Gott tat ihr die Augen auf, und sie erblickte einen Wasserquell. Da ging sie hin und füllte den Schlauch mit Wasser und gab dem Knaben zu trinken.

Entonces abrió Dios sus ojos, y vió una fuente de agua; y fué, y llenó el odre de agua, y dió de beber al muchacho.

And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

Und Gott war mit dem Knaben. Er wuchs heran und wohnte in der Wüste und war ein Meister mit dem Bogen.

Y fué Dios con el muchacho; y creció, y habitó en el desierto, y fué tirador de arco.

And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

God was with the boy, and he grew. He lived in the wilderness, and as he grew up, he became an archer.

Er wohnte in der Wüste Paran, und seine Mutter besorgte ihm ein Weib aus dem Ägypterlande.

Y habitó en el desierto de Parán; y su madre le tomó mujer de la tierra de Egipto.

And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

He lived in the wilderness of Paran. His mother got a wife for him out of the land of Egypt.

In jener Zeit redeten Abimelech und sein Heerführer Pikol mit Abraham: "Gott ist mit dir in allem, was du tust.

Y aconteció en aquel mismo tiempo que habló Abimelech, y Phicol, príncipe de su ejército, á Abraham diciendo: Dios es contigo en todo cuanto haces:

And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:

At that time, Abimelech and Phicol the captain of his army spoke to Abraham, saying, “God is with you in all that you do.

Nun schwöre mir hier bei Gott, daß du weder mich noch meinen Schoß und Sproß schädigest, sondern Güte, wie ich an dir geübt, auch an mir üben willst, desgleichen an dem Lande, in dem du zu Gast weilst!"

Ahora pues, júrame aquí por Dios, que no faltarás á mí, ni á mi hijo, ni á mi nieto; sino que conforme á la bondad que yo hice contigo, harás tú conmigo, y con la tierra donde has peregrinado.

Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.

Now, therefore, swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son. But according to the kindness that I have done to you, you shall do to me, and to the land in which you have lived as a foreigner.”

Da sprach Abraham: "Ich schwöre es."

Y respondió Abraham: Yo juraré.

And Abraham said, I will swear.

Abraham said, “I will swear.”

Abraham aber stellte Abimelech zur Rede wegen des Wasserbrunnens, den Abimelechs Knechte weggenommen hatten.

Y Abraham reconvino á Abimelech á causa de un pozo de agua, que los siervos de Abimelech le habían quitado.

And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.

Abraham complained to Abimelech because of a water well, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.

Abimelech aber sprach: "Ich weiß nicht, wer dies getan; du hast mir nichts gesagt, noch habe ich bis heute davon gehört."

Y respondió Abimelech: No sé quién haya hecho esto, ni tampoco tú me lo hiciste saber, ni yo lo he oído hasta hoy.

And Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing: neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.

Abimelech said, “I don’t know who has done this thing. You didn’t tell me, and I didn’t hear of it until today.”

Da nahm Abraham Schafe und Rinder und gab sie Abimelech, und sie schlossen einen Vertrag miteinander.

Y tomó Abraham ovejas y vacas, y dió á Abimelech; é hicieron ambos alianza.

And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.

Abraham aber stellte die sieben Lämmer der Herde besonders.

Y puso Abraham siete corderas del rebaño aparte.

And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.

Da sprach Abimelech zu Abraham: "Was sollen diese sieben Lämmer, die du besonders stellst?"

Y dijo Abimelech á Abraham: ¿Qué significan esas siete corderas que has puesto aparte?

And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?

Abimelech said to Abraham, “What do these seven ewe lambs, which you have set by themselves, mean?”

Er sprach: "Die sieben Lämmer mußt du von mir nehmen, damit sie mir als Zeugnis dienen, daß ich diesen Brunnen gegraben habe."

Y él respondió: Que estas siete corderas tomarás de mi mano, para que me sean en testimonio de que yo cavé este pozo.

And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.

He said, “You shall take these seven ewe lambs from my hand, that it may be a witness to me, that I have dug this well.”

Diese Stätte heißt daher Beerseba; denn dort haben sie einander zugeschworen.

Por esto llamó á aquel lugar Beer-seba; porque allí juraron ambos.

Wherefore he called that place Beer-sheba; because there they sware both of them.

So schlossen sie einen Vertrag zu Beerseba. Alsdann brachen Abimelech und sein Heerführer Pikol auf und kehrten in das Philisterland zurück.

Así hicieron alianza en Beer-seba: y levantóse Abimelech, y Phicol, príncipe de su ejército, y se volvieron á tierra de los Filisteos.

Thus they made a covenant at Beer-sheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

So they made a covenant at Beersheba. Abimelech rose up with Phicol, the captain of his army, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

Er aber pflanzte eine Tamariske zu Beerseba und rief dort den Namen des Herrn an, eines ewigen Gottes.

Y plantó Abraham un bosque en Beer-seba, é invocó allí el nombre de Jehová Dios eterno.

And Abraham planted a grove in Beer-sheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.

Und Abraham weilte lange zu Gast im Philisterland.

Y moró Abraham en tierra de los Filisteos muchos días.

And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines’ land many days.
