Génesis 16

Or Sarai, moglie d’Abramo, non gli avea dato figliuoli. Essa aveva una serva egiziana per nome Agar.

Y SARAI, mujer de Abram, no le paría: y ella tenía una sierva egipcia, que se llamaba Agar.

Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, bore him no children. She had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

E Sarai disse ad Abramo: “Ecco, l’Eterno m’ha fatta sterile; deh, va’ dalla mia serva; forse avrò progenie da lei”. E Abramo dette ascolto alla voce di Sarai.

Dijo, pues, Sarai á Abram: Ya ves que Jehová me ha hecho estéril: ruégote que entres á mi sierva; quizá tendré hijos de ella. Y atendió Abram al dicho de Sarai.

And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing. Please go in to my servant. It may be that I will obtain children by her.” Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.

Sarai dunque, moglie d’Abramo, dopo che Abramo ebbe dimorato dieci anni nel paese di Canaan, prese la sua serva Agar, l’Egiziana, e la diede per moglie ad Abramo suo marito.

Y Sarai, mujer de Abram, tomó á Agar su sierva egipcia, al cabo de diez años que había habitado Abram en la tierra de Canaán, y dióla á Abram su marido por mujer.

And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her servant, after Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to Abram her husband to be his wife.

Ed egli andò da Agar, che rimase incinta; e quando s’accorse ch’era incinta, guardò la sua padrona con disprezzo.

Y él cohabitó con Agar, la cual concibió: y cuando vió que había concebido, miraba con desprecio á su señora.

And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

He went in to Hagar, and she conceived. When she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

E Sarai disse ad Abramo: “L’ingiuria fatta a me, ricade su te. Io t’ho dato la mia serva in seno; e da che ella s’è accorta ch’era incinta, mi guarda con disprezzo. L’Eterno sia giudice fra me e te”.

Entonces Sarai dijo á Abram: Mi afrenta sea sobre ti: yo puse mi sierva en tu seno, y viéndose embarazada, me mira con desprecio; juzgue Jehová entre mí y ti.

And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.

Sarai said to Abram, “This wrong is your fault. I gave my servant into your bosom, and when she saw that she had conceived, she despised me. May the LORD judge between me and you.”

E Abramo rispose a Sarai: “Ecco, la tua serva è in tuo potere; fa’ con lei come ti piacerà”. Sarai la trattò duramente, ed ella se ne fuggì da lei.

Y respondió Abram á Sarai: He ahí tu sierva en tu mano, haz con ella lo que bien te pareciere. Y como Sarai la afligiese, huyóse de su presencia.

But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

But Abram said to Sarai, “Behold, your maid is in your hand. Do to her whatever is good in your eyes.” Sarai dealt harshly with her, and she fled from her face.

E l’angelo dell’Eterno la trovò presso una sorgente d’acqua, nel deserto, presso la sorgente ch’è sulla via di Shur,

Y hallóla el ángel de Jehová junto á una fuente de agua en el desierto, junto á la fuente que está en el camino del Sur.

And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

The LORD’s angel found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain on the way to Shur.

e le disse: “Agar, serva di Sarai, donde vieni? e dove vai?” Ed ella rispose: “Me ne fuggo dal cospetto di Sarai mia padrona”.

Y le dijo: Agar, sierva de Sarai, ¿de dónde vienes tú, y á dónde vas? Y ella respondió: Huyo de delante de Sarai, mi señora.

And he said, Hagar, Sarai’s maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

He said, “Hagar, Sarai’s servant, where did you come from? Where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from the face of my mistress Sarai.”

E l’angelo dell’Eterno le disse: “Torna alla tua padrona, e umiliati sotto la sua mano”.

Y díjole el ángel de Jehová: Vuélvete á tu señora, y ponte sumisa bajo de su mano.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

The LORD’s angel said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.”

L’angelo dell’Eterno soggiunse: “Io moltiplicherò grandemente la tua progenie, e non la si potrà contare, tanto sarà numerosa”.

Díjole también el ángel de Jehová: Multiplicaré tanto tu linaje, que no será contado á causa de la muchedumbre.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

The LORD’s angel said to her, “I will greatly multiply your offspring, that they will not be counted for multitude.”

E l’angelo dell’Eterno le disse ancora: “Ecco, tu sei incinta, e partorirai un figliuolo, al quale porrai nome Ismaele, perché l’Eterno t’ha ascoltata nella tua afflizione;

Díjole aún el ángel de Jehová: He aquí que has concebido, y parirás un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Ismael, porque oído ha Jehová tu aflicción.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

The LORD’s angel said to her, “Behold, you are with child, and will bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has heard your affliction.

esso sarà tra gli uomini come un asino selvatico; la sua mano sarà contro tutti, e la mano di tutti contro di lui; e abiterà in faccia a tutti i suoi fratelli”.

Y él será hombre fiero; su mano contra todos, y las manos de todos contra él, y delante de todos sus hermanos habitará.

And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

He will be like a wild donkey among men. His hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. He will live opposed to all of his brothers.”

Allora Agar chiamò il nome dell’Eterno che le avea parlato, Atta-El-Roi, perché disse: “Ho io, proprio qui, veduto andarsene colui che m’ha vista?”

Entonces llamó el nombre de Jehová que con ella hablaba: Tú eres el Dios de la vista; porque dijo: ¿No he visto también aquí al que me ve?

And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?

She called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are a God who sees,” for she said, “Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?”

Perciò quel pozzo fu chiamato “il pozzo di Lachai-Roi”. Ecco, esso è fra Kades e Bered.

Por lo cual llamó al pozo, Pozo del Viviente que me ve. He aquí está entre Cades y Bered.

Wherefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

Therefore the well was called Beer Lahai Roi. Behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

E Agar partorì un figliuolo ad Abramo; e Abramo, al figliuolo che Agar gli avea partorito, pose nome Ismaele.

Y parió Agar á Abram un hijo, y llamó Abram el nombre de su hijo que le parió Agar, Ismael.

And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son’s name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.

Hagar bore a son for Abram. Abram called the name of his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.

Abramo aveva ottantasei anni quando Agar gli partorì Ismaele.

Y era Abram de edad de ochenta y seis años, cuando parió Agar á Ismael.

And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.

Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.
