Or la valle di Siddim era piena di pozzi di bitume; e i re di Sodoma e di Gomorra si misero in fuga, e cascarono dentro que' pozzi; e coloro che scamparono fuggirono verso il monte.

Y el valle de Siddim estaba lleno de pozos de betún: y huyeron el rey de Sodoma y el de Gomorra, y cayeron allí; y los demás huyeron al monte.

And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.

Now the valley of Siddim was full of tar pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and some fell there. Those who remained fled to the hills.
