Por esta razón la ciudad se llamó Babel, porque fue allí donde Dios los confundió haciendo que hablaran diversos idiomas, y los esparció por toda la tierra.

Por esto fué llamado el nombre de ella Babel, porque allí confundió Jehová el lenguaje de toda la tierra, y desde allí los esparció sobre la faz de toda la tierra.

Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
