17Y ahora, si parece bien al rey, que se indague en la tesorería real que está allí en Babilonia, para verificar si el rey Ciro dio orden de reconstruir este Templo de ʼElohim en Jerusalén. Que se nos diga la voluntad del rey sobre esto.

17Y ahora, si al rey parece bien, búsquese en la casa de los tesoros del rey que está allí en Babilonia, si es así que por el rey Ciro había sido dado mandamiento para edificar esta casa de Dios en Jerusalem, y envíenos á decir la voluntad del rey sobre esto.

17Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king’s treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.
