1Et comme Esdras priait, et comme, en pleurant et priant, il élevait la voix devant le temple du Seigneur, la nombreuse Église d'Israël se rassembla auprès de lui, hommes, femmes et jeunes gens ; et le peuple pleura, et en pleurant il éleva la voix.

1Now when Ezra had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there assembled unto him out of Israel a very great congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept very sore.
