Als der Pharao nämlich hinsandte, um nachzusehen, stellte es sich heraus, daß vom Vieh der Israeliten kein einziges Stück gefallen war. Aber das Herz des Pharaos blieb trotzdem verstockt, so daß er das Volk nicht ziehen ließ.

Entonces Faraón envió, y he aquí que del ganado de los hijos de Israel no había muerto uno. Mas el corazón de Faraón se agravó, y no dejó ir al pueblo.

And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.
