Now, the flax and the barley, were smitten,—for the barley, was in the ear, and, the flax, was in flower;

El lino, pues, y la cebada fueron heridos; porque la cebada estaba ya espigada, y el lino en caña.

And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled.

The flax and the barley were struck, for the barley had ripened and the flax was blooming.
