Hernach gingen Mose und Aaron hin und sprachen zum Pharao: So befiehlt Jahwe, der Gott Israels: Laß mein Volk ziehen, damit sie mir in der Steppe ein Fest feiern!
DESPUÉS entraron Moisés y Aarón á Faraón, y le dijeron: Jehová, el Dios de Israel, dice así: Deja ir á mi pueblo á celebrarme fiesta en el desierto.
And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
Afterward Moses and Aaron came, and said to Pharaoh, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.’”
Der Pharao aber erwiderte: Wer ist Jahwe, daß ich ihm gehorchen und Israel ziehen lassen sollte? Ich weiß nichts von Jahwe und werde Israel auch nicht ziehen lassen!
Y Faraón respondió: ¿Quién es Jehová, para que yo oiga su voz y deje ir á Israel? Yo no conozco á Jehová, ni tampoco dejaré ir á Israel.
And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.
Pharaoh said, “Who is the LORD, that I should listen to his voice to let Israel go? I don’t know the LORD, and moreover I will not let Israel go.”
Sie sprachen: Der Gott der Hebräer ist uns begegnet; laß uns also drei Tagereisen weit in die Steppe ziehen, um Jahwe, unserem Gott, Opfer zu bringen; sonst sucht er uns heim mit Pest oder Schwert.
Y ellos dijeron: El Dios de los Hebreos nos ha encontrado: iremos, pues, ahora camino de tres días por el desierto, y sacrificaremos á Jehová nuestro Dios; porque no venga sobre nosotros con pestilencia ó con espada.
And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days’ journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.
They said, “The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please let us go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD, our God, lest he fall on us with pestilence, or with the sword.”
Der König von Ägypten aber erwiderte ihnen: Warum, Mose und Aaron, wollt ihr das Volk von seiner Arbeit abziehn? Geht an eure Frondienste!
Entonces el rey de Egipto les dijo: Moisés y Aarón, ¿por qué hacéis cesar al pueblo de su obra? idos á vuestros cargos.
And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.

Und der Pharao sprach: Es ist des Volkes wahrlich schon so genug im Land, und da wollt ihr noch, daß es aufhört, Frondienste zu verrichten?
Dijo también Faraón: He aquí el pueblo de la tierra es ahora mucho, y vosotros les hacéis cesar de sus cargos.
And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.

An eben demselben Tage gab der Pharao den Fronvögten, die über das Volk gesetzt waren, und seinen Aufsehern folgenden Befehl:

Ihr sollt nicht mehr, wie bisher, dem Volk Häckerling liefern zur Verfertigung der Backsteine, sondern sie selbst sollen hingehen und sich Häckerling suchen.
De aquí adelante no daréis paja al pueblo para hacer ladrillo, como ayer y antes de ayer; vayan ellos y recojan por sí mismos la paja:
Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.
“You shall no longer give the people straw to make brick, as before. Let them go and gather straw for themselves.
Aber die festgesetzte Zahl von Backsteinen, die sie bisher verfertigten, sollt ihr ihnen auferlegen und nichts davon ablassen. Denn sie gehen müßig; deshalb verlangen sie ungestüm: Wir wollen hingehen, um unserem Gott Opfer zu bringen!
Y habéis de ponerles la tarea del ladrillo que hacían antes, y no les disminuiréis nada; porque están ociosos, y por eso levantan la voz diciendo: Vamos y sacrificaremos á nuestro Dios.
And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.
You shall require from them the number of the bricks which they made before. You shall not diminish anything of it, for they are idle. Therefore they cry, saying, ‘Let’s go and sacrifice to our God.’
Die Arbeit muß den Leuten erschwert werden, so daß sie daran zu thun haben und nicht auf Vorspiegelungen achten!
Agrávese la servidumbre sobre ellos, para que se ocupen en ella, y no atiendan á palabras de mentira.
Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words.
Let heavier work be laid on the men, that they may labor in it. Don’t let them pay any attention to lying words.”
Da gingen die Fronvögte und Aufseher des Volkes hin und berichteten dem Volke: So hat der Pharao angeordnet: Ich lasse euch keinen Häckerling mehr liefern.

Ihr selbst müßt hingehen, euch Häckerling zu suchen.
Id vosotros, y recoged paja donde la hallareis; que nada se disminuirá de vuestra tarea.
Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished.

Die Fronvögte aber setzten ihnen hart zu und befahlen: Ihr müßt Tag für Tag die volle Arbeit liefern, wie zu der Zeit, wo Häckerling da war.

Den Aufsehern der Israeliten aber, welche die Fronvögte des Pharao ihnen als Vorgesetzte gegeben hatten, ließ man Schläge geben und fragte sie: Warum habt ihr den Betrag an Backsteinen, der euch bisher auferlegt war, in den letzten Tagen nicht voll geliefert?
Y los cuadrilleros los apremiaban, diciendo: Acabad vuestra obra, la tarea del día en su día, como cuando se os daba paja.
And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.
The taskmasters were urgent saying, “Fulfill your work quota daily, as when there was straw!”
Da gingen die Aufseher der Israeliten hin und beklagten sich flehentlich beim Pharao, indem sie sprachen: O Herr! Warum lässest du uns so behandeln?
Y azotaban á los capataces de los hijos de Israel, que los cuadrilleros de Faraón habían puesto sobre ellos, diciendo: ¿Por qué no habéis cumplido vuestra tarea de ladrillo ni ayer ni hoy, como antes?
And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore?
The officers of the children of Israel, whom Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and were asked, “Why haven’t you fulfilled your quota both yesterday and today, in making brick as before?”
Häckerling wird uns nicht mehr geliefert, und dennoch heißt es: Schafft Ziegel! Nun werden wir gar noch geschlagen! Du versündigst dich an deinem Volk.
Y los capataces de los hijos de Israel vinieron á Faraón, y se quejaron á él, diciendo: ¿Por qué lo haces así con tus siervos?
Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with thy servants?

Er aber erwiderte: Faul seid ihr, faul! Deswegen sagt ihr: Wir wollen hingehen, um Jahwe Opfer zu bringen.
No se da paja á tus siervos, y con todo nos dicen: Haced el ladrillo. Y he aquí tus siervos son azotados, y tu pueblo cae en falta.
There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own people.
No straw is given to your servants, and they tell us, ‘Make brick!’ and behold, your servants are beaten; but the fault is in your own people.”
Geht sofort an eure Arbeit; Häckerling wird euch nicht geliefert, aber den vollen Betrag an Backsteinen müßt ihr liefern!
Y él respondió: Estáis ociosos, sí, ociosos, y por eso decís: Vamos y sacrifiquemos á Jehová.
But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD.
But Pharaoh said, “You are idle! You are idle! Therefore you say, ‘Let’s go and sacrifice to the LORD.’
So fanden sich die Aufseher der Israeliten in der schlimmen Lage, sagen zu müssen: Ihr bekommt von eurem täglichen Betrag an Backsteinen nichts erlassen!
Id pues ahora, y trabajad. No se os dará paja, y habéis de dar la tarea del ladrillo.

Als sie nun den Pharao verließen, trafen sie auf Mose und Aaron, die dort standen, um ihnen zu begegnen,
Entonces los capataces de los hijos de Israel se vieron en aflicción, habiéndoseles dicho: No se disminuirá nada de vuestro ladrillo, de la tarea de cada día.
And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task.
The officers of the children of Israel saw that they were in trouble when it was said, “You shall not diminish anything from your daily quota of bricks!”
und sagten zu ihnen: Jahwe strafe euch und helfe uns zum Recht, daß ihr uns beim Pharao und seinen Höflingen in schwere Ungnade gebracht, ja ihnen das Schwert in die Hand gedrückt habt, um uns das Leben zu nehmen!
Y encontrando á Moisés y á Aarón, que estaban á la vista de ellos cuando salían de Faraón,
And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh:

Da wandte sich Mose wieder an Jahwe zu sprach: O Herr! Warum lässest du diesem Volke solches Unheil widerfahren? Wozu hast du mich denn gesandt?
Dijéronles: Mire Jehová sobre vosotros, y juzgue; pues habéis hecho heder nuestro olor delante de Faraón y de sus siervos, dándoles el cuchillo en las manos para que nos maten.
And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.
They said to them, “May the LORD look at you and judge, because you have made us a stench to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to kill us!”
Denn seitdem ich zum Pharao gegangen bin, um in deinem Namen zu reden, behandelt er dieses Volk nur noch härter, und du hast dein Volk keineswegs errettet!
Entonces Moisés se volvió á Jehová, y dijo: Señor, ¿por qué afliges á este pueblo? ¿para qué me enviaste?
And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?
Moses returned to the LORD, and said, “Lord, why have you brought trouble on this people? Why is it that you have sent me?

Porque desde que yo vine á Faraón para hablarle en tu nombre, ha afligido á este pueblo; y tú tampoco has librado á tu pueblo.
For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.
For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble on this people. You have not rescued your people at all!”
